First practice

After school Alex and the rest of the 1st years who want to be on the baseball team is out on the field as the coach walks out.

Coach- Is this every one that wants to join the team.

Everyone- YES SIR

Coach- Good, introduce yourself to me. Starting from you.

Takemoto- YES SIR. I'm Takemoto Atsushi, from south junior high school. Nice to meet you.

Coach- Next.

Oshima- I'm Oshima Hiroshi, from Miyagawa Shinia junior high. I have confidence in me defense and I hope to play short stop.

Coach- Next.

It was Alex's turn next and just as he was about to speak every one herd a loud shout.

???- HEY. Even though he's late, this guy's trying to sneak into the line.

Everyone looks over and can see a boy frozen in his tracks as he kept stuttering trying to explain his self. The coach looked over the boy and said.

Coach- Kid.. you've got guts. Coming late on the first day and worse, trying to not get caught while you sneak in.... That kind of rotten personality... GO RUN UNTLI PRACTICE ENDS..

???- Ah... it was all.....no.....

Coach- This Kid's upper class roommates too....As well as the incredible idiot standing over there, who tried to exploit the situation.... YOU RUN TO.

Coach- Now where were we. Ah, yes you.

Alex- Yes sir. My name is Alex Shiba and I'm a pitcher.

As everyone finished introduce themselves they headed over to the mess hall to eat breakfast. When Alex got in he can see a sing that reads "EAT AT LEST THREE BOWLS". When Alex got his first bowl he sat down on the seat and started to eat. Half way through his first blow the four that were sent running came in to eat. Alex sees Sawamura Eijun pouting as he eats his food or maybe he is going to puke.

???- Whoa.. Are you okay man

???- Don't puke here, if your going to puke go out side....

???- No. don't. STOP IT...

After that incident was over everyone was back on the field practicing. As everyone was practicing the coach came over and said.

Coach- First years gather up. After this we are going to test your ability for your desired position, so put on your spikes and move over to field B.... Were do you think your going.

Sawamura- Huh.. were, to test my self...

Coach- You don't have to go. If your free RUN.

As this went on Alex and the rest of the first years went over to field B. The tests they had to do was running, catching, fielding, batting and pitching. Alex went to the pitching first and showed is pitching.

???- Wow. Is that rely a first years pitch.

???- I know right. It is so fats.

Assistant Coach- You come here a minuet.

Alex- Yes coach.

Assistant Coach- What kind of pitch's can you throw.

Alex- Umm. I can throw Fastball, Curveball, Splitter, Cutter and a Change-up.

Assistant Coach- Good. I want to see you throwing there pitches now.

Alex- Yes coach

<BOOOM> <SLAM> <BOOOM>

Assistant Coach- Good. Good.

Alex- Umm.. coach. Can I try the batting now.

Assistant Coach- But your a pitcher aren't you.

Alex- Yes but I can also bat so I would like to try.

Assistant Coach- Ok. Go and try but I'm watching so no funny business.

Alex went over to the batting cages to wait his turn. After about 20minuts it was finely his turn. He step's in to the cage, in to the batter box and waited for his first pitch. And then it came.

<BOOOM> <DING> <SMASH> <BOOOM>

The Assistant Coach watched all of his and he is speechless and his mouth is wide open. As time passes the coach comes in and sees Alex in the cage and said.

Coach- Assistant Coach why is he in the batter box and not pitching.

Assistant Coach- Coach. just watch.

<BOOOM> <DING> <BOOOM> <SMASH>

Assistant Coach- It is hard to believe he is just a first year. And his pitching is just as good. Him and that kid named Furuya Satoru for his pitching and Kominato Haruichi over there. I think we have 3 Good first years this year and our pitching problem looks like it mite be solved.

Coach- mm. Good but it is not 3 but 4 good first years. good everyone practices is over. so go and rest and we will be starting at 0500 hours tomorrow morning so rest up and DON'T BE LATE or else you will be running the whole

Everyone- YES SIR.
