What Kind of Relationship Did They Have

Ji Xiaonian noisily kicked up a fuss, but Bai Yan simply ignored her.

Bai Yan lay there and temporarily forgot how to deal with that little girl who feared nothing.

Ji Xiaonian was still straddling his abdomen when she glared menacingly at him. She was about to lean forward and bite him a few times when a young woman's shocked cries suddenly rang out nearby.

"Ji Xiaonian, what are you doing?"

When she heard the noise, Ji Xiaonian turned her head. She was stunned to see the woman who ran over from a nearby area.

Before she could react, Fang Miaoling pulled her over in one swift motion before she frantically helped Bai Yan, who was pressed against the ground. Fang Miaoling anxiously asked, "Professor Bai, are you alright?"

Bai Yan waved his hand and broke away from Fang Miaoling's grasp before he said, "I'm fine."

He stood up as he said that. Bai Yan truly could not believe the things that happened earlier. He hurriedly left without even glancing at the two girls because he was slightly embarrassed as well.

When Fang Miaoling noticed that Bai Yan had walked further away, she shifted her gaze to Ji Xiaonian and glared at her. Next, she angrily shouted, "Ji Xiaonian, how dare you seduce Professor Bai? How could you do that? I can't believe that I always thought that you were innocent."

Ji Xiaonian only responded several moments later. She looked at the young woman before her, but instead of answering her question, she asked, "You… Why are you here?"

Previously, her brother had mentioned that Bai Yan went to fetch someone from Ning University.

'That person… Could that person have been my dormmate, Fang Miaoling?'

She dismissed the other girl's anger before curiously asking, "Why did he bring you here? Are you two very close?"

Ji Xiaonian had grown up with Bai Yan ever since she was little. She understood that man as well as the back of her own hand, and she knew that he had never been involved in any scandals.

Furthermore, this girl was her dormmate. She merely had an average appearance, and her family background was average as well. Why did Bai Yan bring her along?

When she heard her brother's voice, Ji Xiaonian hurriedly stood up and held Ji Chen as she asked, "Brother, do you know what kind of relationship Bai Yan has with my dormmate, Fang Miaoling? Why did he bring her here?"

Ji Xiaonian quickly slapped his hand away before she firmly sat on the grass. "Leave me alone."

She truly felt threatened now. Ji Xiaonian was afraid that there was something between Bai Yan and Fang Miaoling. She was also worried that Bai Yan truly liked someone else now.

Deep down, Ji Xiaonian was so worried that she wanted to die. She could not sit still, so she stood up again and paced up and down.

When Lu Yifei noticed that she was truly anxious, he stood beside her and gently consoled her, saying, "Trust me, Bai Yan doesn't have such bad taste.
