A Forced Kiss

"Little girl, sorry doesn't mean anything." The man curled his lips upward in a playful manner and revealed a charming smile. 

Ji Xiaonian frowned and pouted. "I didn't hurt you so what do you want? Let's not be unreasonable since we're both studying in the same university!"

As expected, good-looking people would only bring problems. Ji Xiaonian complained in her mind as she glared at the handsome man angrily. 

She would have her bodyguard Lu Yifei teach this handsome man a lesson if he was to blackmail her.

'Young one, you better not do anything dumb.'

"Hehe!"

The man revealed another cunning smile and stepped forward. He leaned in closer and suddenly, she felt a warm breath on her ear. "What about I treat you to breakfast in the canteen as compensation? I'm starving!"

Ji Xiaonian was stunned.

What, what, what was that for? He could have just spoken to her from a normal distance. 

She staggered backward in surprise as embarrassment filled her face. She shouted at the man in front of her while blushing, "A breakfast set only costs a little over ten bucks. I can hand you the money and you can enjoy it by yourself!"

Ji Xiaonian immediately reached into her pocket.

The man's voice entered her ears again before she could pull out the money. "But I have no idea where the canteen is. Besides, without your company, I'm afraid those fangirls will come pestering me again. I don't care, you need to be responsible for bumping into me earlier!"

The man grabbed Ji Xiaonian's arm and smiled gently. "Let's go, darling."

He dragged Ji Xiaonian along against her will before she could respond.

"Ahh, hey, don't drag me like that. Besides, this is not the way to the canteen. Oh gosh, are you new here? It's not possible you don't even know where the canteen is. Hey there, let go of me!"

Ji Xiaonian rattled on relentlessly as she scurried after the man.

'What the hell? This man must be a moron, otherwise, he won't be so unreasonable.'

"I don't have money on me hence no one else is going to fill up my starving belly if you run away."

He changed direction immediately after being told that was not the way to the canteen.

Their actions attracted attention from the rest of the students. Ji Xiaonian hurried next to him and whispered, "First, let go of my arm. I promise I'll treat you to breakfast in the canteen and not run away."

A breakfast set only cost slightly over ten bucks she was not a petty person!

"Alright, I believe you." The man finally let go of her.

Ji Xiaonian massaged her wrist as she led the way towards the canteen. "Are you new here?" she asked.

"Yup!"

"No wonder you have no idea where the canteen is!"

She took a moment to size him up and down and realized every item he was wearing – his shirt, his trousers, and his shoes were all from the high-end fashion brands. Curious, she questioned again, "Do you really have no money for breakfast?"

This man must be pulling her leg, right?

His whole outfit should cost at least a hundred thousand bucks. Wait a minute, the accessory hanging on his left earlobe must be an all-natural sapphire earring!

That… That must have cost at least millions!

Damn, this man was definitely a typical second-generation rich kid, and he was complaining about not having enough money for breakfast?

Ji Xiaonian obviously could not believe him.

However, she decided not to waste time debating with him. As long as she made it up to him by treating him to breakfast, there would be nothing left to say between the two of them!

Both of them finally arrived at the canteen. Ji Xiaonian noticed that people were throwing glances at her as soon as they stepped foot into the canteen.

Hang on, it seemed that the attention was focused on the person by her side.

Ji Xiaonian tilted her head to look at the man properly and she regretted her choice immediately. Damn it, she could only describe him in two words – extremely handsome.

Oh gosh, he was exceptionally and extraordinarily handsome.

She was completely starry-eyed about him without her realizing.

Fortunately, she had come across numerous handsome men in her life. No matter how good-looking or accomplished any other man was, he would not compare to her Brother Ji Chen or Brother Yan. Therefore, she decided to leave her fascination for the men back home!

Ji Xiaonian pointed at an empty space not far away and instructed the man that was standing next to her like an idiot, "Wait for me over there, I'll come over after I collect your breakfast."

The man refused to follow suit and trailed after her instead. "Have you not noticed there are many people staring at me? I really don't want to be pestered by them, so help me out."

Then, the man placed his arms on Ji Xiaonian's shoulder and the two of them waited in line to collect his breakfast. 

Ji Xiaonian chuckled. This man thought rather highly of himself.

As expected, within seconds, she heard people whispering about the man.

"Oh goodness, he's really cute. How have I not seen him before?"

"He must have just transferred to our university! Otherwise, a gorgeous man like him will surely become Ning University's most popular babe."

"Sigh, it seems that he's quite intimate with that girl. Could she be his girlfriend?"

"Seems like it."

The heated discussion continued but Ji Xiaonian could not take it anymore. She put on a nervous smile and explained to her peers nearby, "Um, I hope you all will not misunderstand but I don't even know him at all, so I'm definitely not his girlfriend!"

Seriously, how could people gossip like that!

She was already taken.

Ji Xiaonian turned around once more and glanced at the man behind her. Yes, he was strikingly gorgeous, indeed. He was tall and looked exceptionally neat and cheerful.

However, no matter how good-looking he was, she still thought Brother Yan was more charming.

In other words, she would never change her feelings for another man.

"Eh? Turns out she's not his girlfriend?" After the statement given by Ji Xiaonian, the surrounding girls began to whisper in each other's ears again. 

There were even some bold girls that went up to the man and inquired, "Hey, what's your name and what do you major in? You've just transferred here, right?" 

"That's right, which course are you in? If you're not familiar with this place, we're glad to be your guide!"

More girls kept coming up to strike a conversation with the man. It was obvious to Ji Xiaonian that he was starting to get frustrated.

However, what she had never expected was that he would drag her closer and make an announcement to everyone. "She's my girlfriend hence please stay away from me. I only have eyes for her and can only carry her in my heart, forever."

Without allowing Ji Xiaonian any chance to react to that, he leaned forward and planted a kiss on Ji Xiaonian's lips in front of the hundreds of students at the canteen.

Oh my God! Everyone present cried out in surprise as they witnessed this interesting scene.

Ji Xiaonian widened her eyes in shock because she was utterly stunned by the man in front of her eyes!

This… This man must be a f*cking idiot! This sick man must be seriously crazy!

Ji Xiaonian who was slow to respond finally pushed the man away and slapped him across the face. "Are you insane? I don't even know you."

In a burst of uncontrollable anger, she took to her heels hurriedly without purchasing breakfast.

It was beyond Ji Xiaonian's knowledge that the moment where she was kissed forcefully was already captured on phone by her peers and would soon be uploaded onto the university forum.

Ji Xiaonian darted back to her dorm without stopping for a breather and wiped her lips clean with a towel repeatedly.

Soon, several other of her dorm mates also scrambled inside and threw questions at her persistently. "Ji Xiaonian, you've gone viral in the university forum."

"Xiaonian, the man that kissed you is dazzling!"

"Xiaonian, when have you started dating? How come you didn't tell us about it?"
