Chapter 5: You have a death wish?

Somewhere in the city, Clara had been worn out from walking all day. Together with Rubby felt extremely tired that they sat down and breathed greedly for fresh air.

" Where did this bitch go to? She really had the guts to escape leaving us with this stress? I hope she escape forever and never be seen because if I ever laid my hands on her, she'll..." Clara lamented bitterly to herself.

" Yes mom, if we knew she was gonna run away, we wouldn't have informed her of the arrangements beforehand. Now look how stressful the day has been to us. And that guy, he said it all mum, what will we do if we can't find her? Will we flee?"

" We must find her no matter what!" Clara wasn't easy at all to accept defeat. " She must be somewhere fooling herself that we won't find her," she assured her daughter who had started giving up on the lifestyle she'd dreamt of always.

If Purity got married to that guy, he had promised to pay a high bride price for her and all was gonna fall in the hands of her mother who then would give it to her for all expenses. But now it's all shutterd.

" It's been five hours now mom. Besides am starving, can't take it anymore. Do you have some money for us to buy some bread and milk?" She felt hunger killing her

" So sorry but mom has no peny right now. Only if we keep searching for purity and find her, then the man would reward us." Clara defeatedly told her daughter.

Rubby became speechless. How was she supposed to keep looking for someone she never knew the direction she went plus hunger killing her?

' mum must be joking.' while they added and substracted some hot guy passed by where they sat heading to a mall nearby. He was very handsome that Rubby couldn't take her eyes off him.

She got up hurriedly and stood afew metres away from the entrance and waited for him to be back.

' maybe this is my chance. I must use it wisely and who knows he's very rich by the way he looks' she thought to herself and kept a straight face.

Sure enough after like five minutes he came back with a gift box wrapped beautifully.

Taking that moment not to miss it, she ran into him and wanted to say' hi'but sadly she got blocked by some fully packed bouncer.

" Do you have a death wish?" He asked with a serious face through his sunglasses.

" Aaa..hm I.. I was , wanted to say hi to this handsome man. Is it bad? May I ?" She got track of her voice after a long struggle.

"May I know who you are lady? And what do you want?" The bouncer asked her again, ever serious not averting his eyes from her as if she may vanish into thin air.

" I am Rubby..."

" A daughter to the late famous businessman William, who does not know how he had led the business world for his short period that he rose? Were it not for the unexpected turn of events that he died, he would have been very far. But his daughter here will take after his footsteps..!"

It somehow triggered the silent man that was behind the bouncer but he recollected himself and kept a straight face.

The bouncer getting no sign from his boss asked the two ladies to pave way.

" Excuse us, we are running out of time miss..."

Then they left just like that. The next moment they saw them take a corner and out of sight.

A heated argument rose between a mother and daughter.

" Why did you come between us? You should've let me solve this alone mum! Maybe he got bored of you cutting me in, who knows I might right now be lucky?" Rubby scolded her mother

" Come on baby girl, mama is always here for you. And I forever want what's best for you don't I? So relax, I was only trying to help out so that you won't fall for his looks."

" Forget it, don't try to explain"

" Let's keep looking for her if we do not find her in one hour we'll head back home and flee from that guy."

" Alright but where will we go?"

" Well sell the house and relocate"

" Oh that's a good idea mom, actually let's just head back and sell the house, it's of no use after all if we don't have money!"

The fools made up their mind and went back home with an aim of selling the house and move to another place where they'll rent and hide from the guy whom they had played with. What they didn't know was that the house will go back to it's rightful owner.

Back to the guy and his bouncer.

" Zack, in thirty minutes I want a complete information of those two ladies, I feel that something is not adding up. Plus did you find anything on the lady at home?" John asked his assistant as soon as they got in the car.

" Yep, here is the information that I got."

He handed him a file and when John opened it his heart stopped beating for sometime and his eyes got glued on the information.

" It can't be!"

He put back the files and asked him to hurry home

" Change of mind, go home straight I'll see grandmother tomorrow."

" Ahh.." what happened to this man again? I can't understand him since morning, he's behaving abnormally. Zack thought and peeped through his sunglasses to see his boss's expression, he looked somehow very different today.

" Okay man but..."

" No buts! And if you can't drive faster let me driver. Pull over!"

Zack had known him for long and when he say something you better not question him. So that's what he did. Got off the driver's seat and offered John to drive himself. When he went into the other seat of the passanger John had already accelerated and gone!

"What the!" He cursed him and called a cub for himself.
