The maid opened the door and let us through. The room is big and girlie, neat and fresh. This is probably not her room. A small girl was sitting on the couch patiently waiting for us with snacks on the center table prepared for us. Her clothes are a bit large for her size, her beautiful sapphire locks reflected the light coming from the window. She's cute and adorable… but she's a bit trembling at the sight of us.

"Don't be jealous. Didn't you find her adorable? The moment I saw her, I wanted to cuddle her." I grinned and saw her roll her eyes.

"I'm not jealous at all. It's just that... your manners are inappropriate, hmp!" Vega countered.

"Sorry about that, Lady Nathalie. We made you witness that side of us. Mind if we sit here?" I said to brighten up the mood.

"Y-yes... of course my Lady. Welcome to our humble abode." She bowed as she greeted us, but in a maid's way. Who the heck taught her to act like a maid?! What a poor child.

"How are you, Lady Nathalie? You can tell us everything, you can trust us." I assured her her lips tightened like sealing it... Of course she won't just trust anyone. What am I even thinking?

"What I like to say is we will help you... think of it as an opportunity to escape from them, I will definitely help you. I know your sufferings and you can depend on us. We're from the Marquess Cavelier house, much stronger than your family." I stated, in concern and seriousness.

The only thing that prevents her from leaving this family is the hope they will change their hearts, accept and love her.

Nathalie Renascente is a child brought up in the Renascente Family as a sacrifice. The Renascente Family has a long history of such ways. Mysteriously children with sapphire locks and pink eyes died in accidents or rare diseases but the truth is they are sacrificed to make the first child, the heir of the house with silver locks and golden eyes stronger if he/she will drink their blood, beating them in the process to strengthen their own power.

Among the other families, the Renascente Family has the longest history of having a dark attribute when it comes to magic power, because of that procedure. They have tortured children, blood relatives are not an excuse as long as you have Sapphire hair and pink eyes like Nathalie. "No rush, Lady Nathalie. I only wish to punish the family of yours for treating you like a rug, worse than that of an insect. It breaks my heart at the state you are in… They made you look fine by grooming you neatly, when in fact I already know this isn't your room and even not your clothes. Vega was silent beside me, I know she's wondering how I changed so much. Originally Tania is not a person like I am, she is a brat who doesn't care about anyone, more importantly someone who has no business with Nathalie. Original Tania only resembles me after I work for the company. So yeah, I am somewhat similar to her.

I watched Nathalie's reaction carefully, she trembled and touched her arms covered with sleeves.

"H-how d-did you know?" She asked trembling, "It's like you know everything about me… h-how did you…?" I can feel the aura inside the room that made both me and Vega feel the pressure. Though I didn't do anything, Vega just hugged me out of fear.

"Refrain from what you're doing, Lady Nathalie. I can read everyone like a book with just a glance. That's how." After that the pressure lifted up, and left Nathalie sobbing.

'That is partially true though…'

"Just so you know, there is someone who needs you out there, more than this family needs you. I even heard Duchess Colombelles are searching for a girl to adopt for her family, because she wants to have a daughter and she only has two masculine sons."

I have read them in the book, that's how I knew. Is it considered cheating? Ahaha… that can't be helped. Truthfully, Colombelles house and Vilgerda house will be fighting over Sapphire's adoption in the near future, but the Vilgerda house will win even though it was only a house with a Viscount title. It's because Sapphire was attached to them for helping her before.

"I don't know what you two are talking about, but I can sense that you are experiencing hardships from your own family. Rest assured, because from now on you are my friend and no one can ever hurt you again." Vega offered her a hand, but she was taken aback when Nathalie suddenly hugged her.

I can't help but giggle, they're of the same age and I remember myself and Sunny just looking at them. I wonder how she is...

"Then let's go, what are we waiting for? It's almost lunch and I don't want to be stuck here eating with those hypocrites" I stood up and made my way out. Only to find someone trying to eavesdrop from the door, I opened the door with force. I expectedly found Denzelle land with her face flat on the floor.

"Were you eavesdropping on us?"
