After his heroics against Brentford, Isaac played in 2 more games, each time coming on as a substitute. He did not get on the scoresheet again, but he did put up a solid performance.

The media had stopped speaking about him and had brushed all of the information about him under the rug. The public assumed he was just lucky to net 2 goals on his debut, and didn't think much about it.

The South African media, however, did not forget. For them, they'd acquired a new superstar overseas, and they continuously spoke his name.

Many questioned the fact that he had not played a single professional game before his Brentford appearance and questioned whether he could survive under the rigid tactical system of a manager like De Zerbi.

Isaac did not bother much about this, and he focused on improving his fitness. In his free time, he would read web novels, and he had stumbled upon a particularly interesting one.

The Dawn of the Nebulous Saint, it was called. It was extremely interesting, and it sucked Isaac in like a vacuum. Isaac would keep his power stones and distribute them to the writer, to encourage him/her to keep writing. He had to give the writer something in return for that happiness, after all. (*cough cough* I ain't saying much)

Something unfortunate had happened, though. Well, for him it was unfortunate. The writer had gotten contracted, so the chapters would be locked from 60 onwards.

Isaac had wondered how he would unlock the chapters since he was dirt poor, but then he remembered something.

He earned money now.

Isaac was overjoyed and decided that it was fine. Besides that, he was facing something new. He would have to move countries again. He was leaving America one day earlier, to head to Belgium where he would sign a loan contract with his new team.

So the day arrived, and Isaac boarded a plane to Belgium. Fortunately, he would meet Patrick Woods at the airport, and the scout would temporarily act as his agent.

The plane left around 6:00, and Isaac patiently rested, while he read his webnovel.

[The smell of blood was thick and putrid, though it did not bother me too much. My skin felt cold, and it grew colder with each passing second. She lay before me, her body limp, yet even in death, she was as beautiful as ever.]

"Huh, wait... What the f..." Isaac realized the story ended there. It was the end of volume 1. He scrolled to see the author's message.

"Sorry guys, I'll be taking a hiatus for a few weeks, thereafter I will continue with the story. Thank you for the support! 💖🌠"

"Well... That's evil. I've never seen anything as evil." Isaac groaned. Quite begrudgingly so, he reluctantly sent 2 power stones to the author.

Soon, the plane touched down and Isaac left the plane. He spotted a familiar face and found himself greeted by none other than Mr Patrick Woods. Aside from him was a female whom Isaac was unfamiliar with, but he didn't mind her.

He was not the type to obsess with girls, if he felt he was ready for a relationship he would marry a girl and start a family. He took these sorts of commitments seriously, and he would only give his all to them. He was aware of the responsibilities of relationships, he wouldn't manage unless he was serious.

Isaac realized he had been invested in his thoughts and brought himself back to reality.

"Hello, Mr Woods!"

"Isaac! How are you doing?"

"I'm great, thanks," Isaac replied, a brimming smile on his face.

"Oh, meet my sister. Her name is Mila."

"Hello, it's so nice to meet you," Isaac said politely, with a slight nod.

"It's nice to meet you too, I'm a big fan," She said jokingly.

"Is that so? I'll try not to disappoint you then," Isaac replied dramatically. He then turned to Patrick Woods.

"So... When can I sign the contract?" Isaac enquired, full of desperation.

"Calm down! We'll do that tomorrow after we finish preparing your documents. You might get a chance to play on the 11th of this month, but just be patient."

Isaac nodded understandingly.

"So... Where will I stay?"

"I've gotten you a small apartment in the city. I'll take you there."

"Great, so where are you staying?"

"In a hotel, of course."

Isaac nodded understandingly before following the man. After completing all the necessary procedures, Isaac boarded the scout car and was driven to his apartment. "Mr Woods," Isaac called. "So you have a Belgian license to be driving in Belgium?"

Patrick seemed surprised by the question but he responded.

"An English License can be used in Belgium."

"Ahh," Isaac nodded understandingly before paying attention to the views.

Antwerp was quite a captivating city. It was full of artistic charm, making it a beautiful sight.

Isaac always admired the medieval-style buildings of Europe, and he considered them to be a work of art. He didn't understand why such buildings were no longer built.

As he observed, he noted that Antwerp was full of the rich tapestry of medieval architecture merged with a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Isaac could not wait to stroll through the cobbled streets of Antwerp, admiring all of the cultural art that layered the streets.

The car soon pulled up outside a large flat. Isaac soon moved his little luggage into his room, which happened to be a small 1 room flat.

Isaac immediately went to sleep, and he didn't have much to do until the next day. The next day when he would sign for Royal Antwerp S. C.
