Chapter 81: WolfsDen!

The last two weeks remaining for the werewolf international ranking match to arrive sped by quickly.

Across the world, there were broadcasts of rigorous training, growling, loud shouts, and painful occurrences from individuals which the media coined as 'unique hairy men'.

Alpha Azrael was preparing to leave on this day. He had gathered his best fighters together, along with his beta, his adopted sister -April, and his lover, Alex Bayly.

Some members of the pack insisted on joining the ride, which Alpha Azrael considered. He also worried about their safety because he knows that going there was almost like walking into a trap that he was already aware of.

Alpha Azrael later decided to bring some other members of the pack along after pondering for a while but he insisted that they stay far away from him so that no one would be able to associate their presence with Alpha Azrael and he said that if anyone asks, they should mention or name another Alpha as theirs.

They didn't understand why their Alpha would want them to do such things, but despite that, they agreed to do it.

Alpha Azrael and his entourage, including his lover and adopted sister, drove to the airport and boarded a plane to Zurich.

The flight met with another adjoining flight before its final journey that lasted for 8 hours after which they landed in another country and took a final flight which took them straight to Zurich.

When they arrived in Zurich, they already had limousines waiting for them to take them to the venue which was Wolfsden in Ozra State.

"Wow," April remarked as she got into one of the limousines.

There were two suited men in the front seats, both were wearing shades that made them appear cold and menacing with the perfect amount of frown.

Azrael Herrington also entered the same vehicle with April while Alex didn't come along to Zurich. Shortly after the plane took off from the country of Melbourne, Azrael and Alex discussed about the risks associated with her being there in Zurich since she was the Kannais and all.

Alex insisted on being there with him but Alpha Azrael said he won't be at rest if he couldn't be sure that she was safe.

He knew he was walking into a trap, he felt more confident handling it alone compared to throwing the Kannais into the mix.

Eventually, Alex agreed and on one of the adjoining flights, she returned to the country of Melbourne while Alpha Azrael and the rest proceeded to Zurich.

Now they had arrived in Zurich to meet a number of limousines parked and ready to transport them.

The soldiers and the civilians got into different limousines.

Alpha Azrael wanted them to not be associated with him to keep them out of trouble but the people were too patriotic and loyal to care or listen.

They finally decided to follow the Alpha without caring for themselves or the reason for his decisions.

The sun shone brightly in the sky, dazzling in all its glory.

The hairs of those who applied special creams and hair conditioner were glittering brightly within the brief moment before they entered the limousines.

One by one, the limousines hummed to life and started to drive off in a distance.

The limo that carried the Alpha was the first to move while the rest followed in tow.

Alpha Azrael had a lot of concerns on his mind as he sat quietly.

April was beside him staring at him.

"Would you relax, Alex would be fine, you left her back at home, so why are you so worried...?" April blurted out bluntly.

Alpha Azrael glanced at her with shock. 'This girl never speaks respectfully to me, nor does she have any fear of my position as the Alpha...' Alpha Azrael thought to himself while staring.

"You do know I'm the Alpha right...?" Alpha Azrael asked as he concentrated on April.

"Sure, and I'm the Alpha's sister, how weird is that...?" April added as if not she wasn't getting the message Alpha Azrael trying to pass.

Alpha Azrael couldn't help but shake his head. 'This girl is all kinds of weird.' He thought again.

"Besides, we should be close shouldn't we...?" April said as she shifted closer to Alpha Azrael, and almost immediately, Alpha Azrael got very conscious of his proximity to her.

He nudged her slightly, pushing her playfully to the side. "That's enough fun, April..." Alpha Azrael was getting flustered from their proximity.

April didn't get the message, she thought he was playing with her judging by such a soft nudge so she went closer again and Alpha Azrael nudged her again and this back and forth continued for a while.

The two men in front looked through the rare view mirror and saw what Alpha Azrael and April were doing.

They thought Alpha Azrael was an indecent womanizer who is even going as far as having incestual tendencies.

They shook their heads after concluding in their minds.

Alpha Azrael couldn't read the thoughts of their minds, if he could, he probably would spit out whatever was in his mouth at the moment.

"This Alpha is a big flirt, he is even sleeping with his own sister what an ass" The suited man driving said to the other one.

"Seriously Ronny, he doesn't know about the plan of the elders, they probably would eliminate him before he catches on." The other suited man replied.

"That reminds me, Cole, I thought they said the Kannais was with him, I can't see her anywhere. Or is he probably trying to keep his relationship with his sister secret so he is hiding her somewhere...?" The suited man named Ronny spoke thoughtfully.

"Who knows, when he is settled, I'm sure the Kannais would be revealed eventually. There are so many werewolves who are interested in the Kannais, this competition is going to be the greatest of all werewolf ranking competitions. The prophecy adds the extra spice to it." The man named cole spoke with a slightly raised voice.

After that they both laughed a little and looked up to check the rare view mirror, at this time, they saw Alpha Azrael staring back at them.

Almost like he was listening in on the conversation they just had. Both of them jumped in freight and looked away.

Unknown to them, Alpha Azrael had heard everything that they both said, but he wasn't too concerned about that, it was only the part about the Kannais that irritated him.

He wouldn't mind people plotting against him but, doing that to his lover was a different ball game entirely.

He could turn the world upside down if he has to just to protect her or get his revenge.
