Kyran brought out the Grimoire of Nothingness and the book Ancient Magic from his space pouch and looked at them. It had been a while since he had seen the former, unlike the latter, which he had only recently opened again.
After Cyneah told Kyran about everything Haylee shared, he read the Ancient Magic book's contents again. In fact, after meeting Kairos and learning about what happened in the past, he reread the book as well. Although the book did not mention any history, he sensed a strange feeling of disconnect from the book's introduction and what he learned.
The Ancient Magic book was an introduction to Ancient Magic, its importance to humans, and the requirements on how one would possess it. It even mentioned which family in the Human plane were the ones who were likely to birth a mage that possessed them.
There was no mention of the Ancients Clan, nor the Four Great Minds' creating an artificial magic core that allowed one to possess Ancient Magic.
