Ōnoki Decision

The Uchiha Clan is the most prominent clan in Konoha, with their own territory. Generally, they lead their lives within their clan grounds.

Due to their arrogance and disdain for ordinary people, as well as some historical reasons, there is a deep rift between the Uchiha Clan and the village.

They rarely eat in the village.

So when Yuhi Kurenai saw Uchiha Ryujin, she was somewhat surprised. After seeing him, Ryujin also sorted through his memories and realized that he and Yuuhi Kurenai were actually classmates.

However, unlike other days, Ryujin doesn't return to the Uchiha compound this time. After some contemplation, he heads straight to the training grounds in Konoha because he has decided to focus on physical training. This is the only way he can increase his chakra capacity at the moment.

According to the Ninja Academy teachings, chakra is a unique energy formed by the perfect combination of physical and spiritual energy in the human body. However, this theory is incorrect.

Chakra is, in fact, a special energy derived from the God Tree, bestowed upon all Ninja by the Sage of the Six Paths, passing down through generations. While it's considered foreign energy, the amount of chakra inherited varies among individuals, with a significant portion lying dormant.

Through physical and mental training, this dormant chakra can be awakened.

In the World of Shinobi, few Shinobi understand chakra truly like Ryujin. Even though their current teachings are flawed, physical training indeed helps to enhance chakra.

Arriving at the training ground later than usual, Ryujin finds only a few individuals training. His attention is drawn to one young man with green clothing, a mushroom-like hairstyle, and bushy eyebrows that seem like a genetic mutation.

"Maito Guy's! He's another 'genius' from Konoha!" Ryujin can't help but sigh.

In the World of Shinobi, the bloodline plays a crucial role, and without the lineage of Indra or Asura, it's challenging to become a true powerhouse. At best, one can aspire to be an Elite Jonin-level ninja. But there are always a few exceptions.

Minato Namikaze is one such exception with his Flying Thunder God Jutsu, securing him an unbeatable position. Maito Guy's Eight Gates Technique is another example; with all Eight Gates activated, he can even severely injure Six Paths, Madara. It's nothing short of a miracle.

However, Maito Guy is not yet at that unbeatable at the moment, but a merely Genin ninja target of mockery and scorn.

"Huh, why is Kurenai here?" Seeing Yuhi Kurenai at the training ground surprises Ryujin. After all, she is a Genjutsu-type ninja. What is her purpose here, training her chakra control? Or perhaps her chakra capacity is insufficient?

Genjutsu works by interfering with and controlling the flow of chakra in the opponent's brain, thus trapping them in an illusion. Genjutsu-type ninjas need precise control over their chakra.

Maito Guy and Yuhi Kurenai also look at Ryujin with some surprise, as it's rare for an Uchiha to visit the training grounds.

Ryujin nods to both of them as a greeting and then starts training on his own.

The sound of training echoes through the training ground, leaving only this background noise.

Tsuchikage's office.

Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage with the title "Ryōtenbin no Ōnoki" is using the 'Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Jutsu' to levitate himself in the air.

Unfortunately, Ōnoki stature is quite short, and if he sits on the chair normally, the desk would block him, and people wouldn't be able to see him.

In front of Ōnoki are the high-ranking officials of Iwagakure, including Kurotsuchi, Akatsuchi, and even Han, the Jinchuriki of the Five-Tails.

Everyone's faces are filled with seriousness.

"The Kannabi Bridge has been destroyed, and our supply lines are cut off. The ninja forces stationed in the Land of Grass can only last for three days at most!"

"If we continue to attack, without supply's, we can't possibly break into Konoha. They don't even need to face us head-on, merely stalling us would lead to our demise."

"But if we retreat, we'll likely lose this war!"

"Tsuchikage, please make a decision quickly!"

Worried, Kurotsuchi anxiously urges Ōnoki.

The others also fix their eyes on Ōnoki, aware that the war has reached a critical juncture, and the outcome will soon be clear.

Ōnoki floats in the air, his hands crossed, and remains silent, deep in thought.

After a moment, he suddenly lowers his head, determination evident in his eyes. "Order all units to advance and cross the Land of Grass at the fastest speed. Launch an all-out attack on Konoha!"

This decision surprises Kurotsuchi, Akatsuchi, and the others. Tsuchikage's approach will inevitably lead to heavy casualties!

Those troops will not only face the fierce resistance of the Land of Grass but also the counterattack from Konoha. Moreover, the lack of plans will make their endurance limited.

What's the point of doing this?
