Klein's Life as Nanobots in Another Dimension

A 16 year old boy named Klein Muhandae gets betrayed by his jelious lab assistant and dies. Suddenly he wakes up in a Nanobot life form in the dimension he was trying to reach. he now has to try to survive in his new reality. Note from the author: This is my first novel so its gonna be lackluster. If you like the concept and don't think Isekais are overdone yet give it a go who knows you might enjoy my crapy writing.

2: Spaceship Graveyard

After I knew I could move my body around I decided to test a few things to find out what my new body was and it's capabilities.

First I tried to move my multiple consciousness's to form a basic cube. As I moved the small consciousnes's into what I felt was a cube I simultaneously moved 1 away and ran different tests on it. These tests included: sight, hearing, and touch. i found out that I could command this consciousness I leaned that I could only do 1 action at a time, but I could still do them however they were... "different".

Let me explain the regular human body works through many different biological systems to produce our senses, this can be seen from our sight using rods and cones or our touch using nerves. Yet when I was able to see it didn't need to use any of these biological processes and instead acted like a video recording on a camera. When I turned this camera on I could see the the cube I formed it was completely black with what locked like a complete black void with white dots sprinkled around it behind the cube, I was in space.

I tried to use this consciousness turned camera to go over and touch the black cube. However when I started moving my vision went black again, after that I decided to pull over more of these consciousness's. I pulled over a total of 50 which was negligible when compared to the total amount. I turned 40 into cameras that stood in for eyes and 10 plus the original consciousness making 11 touch receptors.

with this I moved over to touch the cube I made with my new state of being. When I felt the cube it wasen't really feeling, rather I seemed not like I acknowledged its presence, it felt mechanical like I could know what it felt like but there was no temperature. After that I got more curious about what I was now with what I gathered from those 2 senses and my own theories I started to hypothesize.

My first thought before I used my senses was some werid micro-organism that could form togeather and break apart at will however the felling I got from my 2 "senses" say I'm mechanical in nature so that was thrown out the window. My only other idea is nanobots. Nanobots are something you would see from a SI-FI film there based of a theoretical science, the idea is we could create micro robots the size of or even smaller than molecules that could repair musical tissue, skin, organs, and the list goes on. However we never hat the equipment to build such things where I came from.

with this theory even though Nanobots were theoretical science it would fill in all the questions I got from my clues, however I had more tests I could run to prove my hypothesis the first would be confirming they can change color. The reason being if they can change color I can get a precise feeling of weather the change in color is organic like a chameleon or it reflects and refracts light through mechanical means

.

The way I did this was by controlling these Nanobots to make a symmetrical, complex, gold pattern on the cubes surface and of lines. While I thought of this I slowly saw the pattern appear on the cube, with that I was able to confirm it was by a mechanical means.

The next test would be to see if these things I'm controlling with my consciousness are truly "nano" bots. That would however have to wait just like my hearing test, because I'm still in space.

knowing that I had to get to an atmosphereic planet to continue my tests I need something to move around in, because even though Nanobots can do many things they don't have the capacity to be used as thrusters... yet.

Knowing that I can shapeshift and change color at will I decided to change my look before continuing, even though I can be a black cube floating through space I would prefer my old appearance. It would also be easier and more familiar to have my sight and touch systems in my eye sockets and nerveis system respectively.

With the 51 Nanobots I sent out from the cube now all acting as cameras what I saw was akin to a charitor creation screen from a game. As the basis for my "character" was my base human appearance that I was familiar with, the only things I change was I made my self a bit taller around 180 centimeters or around 5 foot 10 inches, I made myself a bit more fit and slender, and lastly changed my brown hair and eyes to black. My base human appearance was not fit but not unfit, brown hair and eyes, and white skin.

Now that I created my "character" I used the remaining Nanobots to make clothes nothing to special just black tennis shoes, pants, and hoodie. I then assigned the Nanobots their tasks even if they didn't have a use currently. With the Nanobots in my skull merging togeather and acting as the main consciousness, the inside of my eardrums for hearing, the inside of my nose for smell, my eyes for seeing, and everything else was dedicated to touch. As I finished assigning the tasks I opened up my eyelids for the first time since I died to see something truly shocking, a graveyard of spaceships was right in front of me.

When I saw this I couldn't keep myself from being excited and smiling, which also passed 2 tests first can I feel emotion yes and second my brain functions and can form a smile also. The reason I was excited was the fact I could see if my Nanobots were truly "nano".

The way to test this was simple if the were Nanobots they would be able to brake down and recreate matter on a molecular scale. so all I had to do was understand how a spaceship works what it needs to function and what materials it requires. If these Nanobots are nano and not macro then I could create my own spaceship from the bottom up.
