Chapter 3

"Are you sure Mr. Maximillian?" asked the Doctor confusedly.

"Yes, but why did you think that she is suffering from that kind of thing?" replied the old man.

"Honestly I based in on her reactions when you brought her here. She didn't seem to have any severe illness in her body during the checkup. Incidentally one of our Doctors have background in the said cases'' said the Doctor.

"Dad, where is Shera?" asked the woman's voice behind the old man.

"She is inside the room, don't worry Sheriah she is fine already'' replied the old man.

"Thank God!" said Shera's mother with relief.

"By the way your husband is with the Voltaire right now to cancel the wedding" the old man added.

"I hope they won't give him headache" said Sheriah.

"Mother, let's go I want to see my sister" said Shiro.

"Ok" answered the old man.

Shera is looking at the window when her family entered the room.

"Sis, what happened to you?" asked Shiro to her sister.

"I just got dizzy out of nowhere" Shera answered.

"Shera how are you feeling now?'' asked her mother.

"I'm fine mother no need to worry" Shera answered her mother with smile.

"Are you sure?'' asked her grandfather.

"Yes, but let's wait for father" Shera suggested.

"Ok, let's wait for him in the car outside" her mother said.

In the Voltaire Villa…..

"What! you want to cancel the wedding? What do you take the Voltaire family for?" said the Patriarch of the family angrily.

Zander's grandfather is the Patriarch of the Voltaire family. He is also the one who allowed the wedding to happen because of Shera's pestering.

"Forgive us Patriarch but my daughter is not in her right condition now to continue the wedding. We will give you proper compensation because of it" said Raizen Maximillian, Shera's father.

"Do you think that compensation you are saying is enough in ruining the reputation of my family because of your unfilial daughter? She pester me now and then just to convince me to let her marry into my eldest grandson now you're telling me she is not on her right condition. Cut the crap Raizen what is the problem of your family" said the Patriarch angrily as if he wants to eat the man in front of him.

Raizen force himself not to laugh because of what he heard. Honestly, even him he doesn't know what kind of thinking her daughter has behaving like a fickle woman. He didn't tolerate his child to be like this. But now at least he is happy knowing that her daughter is not a love struck fool now to the eldest young master of the Voltaire family. He is proud to her daughter.

"Patriarch I know that you didn't like my daughter from the very beginning. I thought you will be happy hearing that she wants to cancel it now?" Raizen said patiently.

"But, why now? At the very day of the wedding itself" said the Patriarch as if he wants to strangle the man in front of him.

"My daughter said that she is sorry for her stubbornness in the past. He will never do that again and he wish for the eldest young master to find his own happiness in the future" Raizen also added. "Sorry my baby father needs to say this or else the Voltaire family will never let us off" he said to himself while secretly sighing.

Almost all the Voltaire family members are present even Lera. Only the man involve is not present, because Zander is still in the U.S managing the branch of their family business. He is supposed to comeback this day.

Of all the people who are present, the happiest is Lera. She secretly ordered her men to kill Shera by accidentally hitting her of a car but before his men can finish the job Shera's friend Aira saw what happened and save her on time.

Aira called an ambulance after she saw her friend being hit by a car.

"I don't believe that bitch is already give up with Zander. That bitch might be planning on something to get Zander's attention. I'll make sure she will never get to be near on her man" said Lera to herself.

While Zander's parent is seriously listening to the conversation of the two. They also didn't like the young lady of the Maximillian family. She is too presumptuous. Their son is a very talented man while the young lady is a trash who just know how to play around and pester a man all day. The couple sigh into their heart. They want their son to find a decent lady to be with and the one who will love and treasure him at the same time. Not just some spoiled brat who didn't even know how to fend for herself.

"If that is your final decision I will accept it but make sure to tell your daughter to never to meddle our families affairs" said the Patriarch to Raizen.

"Yes Patriarch I promised on my daughter's behalf that she will never associate herself with your family." Raizen guaranteed. "By the way here is the compensation of my family" he added while giving the Patriarch the document.

He just receive it but never look at it right away. "What kind of compensation does an ordinary family had in them?" said the Patriarch to himself.

But at least the mess is already settled. He didn't also want that human trash to marry into his family. He wants an outstanding grand-daughter-in-law.

"Andrei, I'll give you all the responsibility to take care all about the wedding details to cancel everything" ordered the Patriarch to his personal assistant.

"Yes sir" he answered before he leave.

"At least the bitch becomes aware of that she is not suited on status" said Zyrill sarcastically.

"Mind your words young lady" said Alexandro Voltaire, Zander and Zyrill's father.

Zyrill bitterly shut her mouth, she knows her father he is not someone who judge a person by just their status. He is reasonable most of the time but when he is angered he is extremely ferocious unlike their mother who is a kind and gentle woman but can be influenced easily by others.

"Raizen's daughter is crazy, after persistently wooing Zander but when the time comes she just cancel the wedding" the Patriarch said.

"I admire that young lady very much. She just being honest with her feelings unlike those scheming woman who pretends to be pure but deep inside is rotten. It's never wrong to express what you feel deep inside. She really cared for our son. We can never find another little girl like that" said Alexandro.

Lera blushed secretly with what Zandro's father said. She felt like this old man knows something about her secret.

"What the hell is wrong with you Alexandro? We are talking about the future of our son here" said her wife Sandra angrily.

"Dear you're too worked up, relax no need to be so emotional the lady already cancel the wedding. Isn't that enough?" Alexandro said to his wife coaxingly.

"Patriarch the eldest young master is at the airport already" Andrei said after he entered into the room. When he is settling all the matters regarding the canceled wedding the personal assistant of the eldest young master called him that he is already at the airport.

He was so shocked to the extent that he just entered the room without knocking.

"What!" all the people inside said altogether.

Zander never returned since he manage their family business in the U.S. He is a talented man who started to manage their family business at the age of thirteen while studying. After he finished his academic studies he flew to U.S to manage their business there and never returned no matter what they do until before his grandmother called him before she died. That is the time when Shera meets him because her family attend the funeral of his grandmother as a sign of respect. During that time there is a collaboration project that the Voltaire family and the Maximillian family business engaged in.

From that moment on Shera always pester Zander. But Zander is always indifferent towards her advances. She didn't even gets near to him because of Zanders assistant. They forgot to inform him that the wedding is canceled because they thought he will not attend to it.

But even before they could react they heard the buzzing of car outside the gate.

What is he doing here? Is the question almost all the people are thinking in their head.

"So all of you are here huh!" said the handsome man who just entered the door. He seems like an immortal who descends in heaven in the modern age. His jade like face matched with phoenix like eyes. Beautiful nose and kissable red lips who looks like inviting women for a kiss. He is Zander Voltaire the man whom Shera pester with all her might.
