Feed her

Tossing the napkin aside, "Miranda you'll be strong I've told you times without numbers that you'll be strong and fine, you don't need to be scared of anything, it's just an easy process, okay?" When Miranda nodded her head,she added, "have you eaten since morning?"

Nodding her head, "no"

"Why?"

Awkwardly scratching her head, "I...I'm not hungry yet"

Placing her hands on her hips, jasmine widened her eyes in shock, "Miranda do you want Derek to send me to prison? You haven't eaten by– glancing at her watch, she added, "by this time of the day? It's 10am and you haven't had breakfast yet?"

Ever since Miranda got pregnant, jasmine became nice to her, infact she now loves Miranda just as she love her son Derek. After all the fight and tug of war she has displayed in the couples life, she's now loyal to them.

She don't want to tarnish their happy marriage, so the best thing, she welcomed Miranda into the family.

Slapping her forehead while staring at Miranda whom was looking exhausted, tired, famished and stressed out. Jasmine rolled her eyes and sighed.

"What will I do with you now?" Pointing at her big belly, she added, "my grandbaby is hungry and same as you too but you refused to eat something" without waiting for Miranda to speak, jasmine head towards the kitchen and brought out a dish of Spaghetti and meatballs.

Leaning the stool towards her, jasmine sat down in front of her. "Now am gonna feed you the same way I usually feed Derek whenever he is sick."

Widening her eyes in shock, Miranda wanted to say something but how could she retort back, she has to stay quiet or else her mother in-law will be pissed off.

After taking several forks of the meal, Miranda vigorously shook her head like a little kid. "Mom I don't want to more, am filled"

Rolling her eyes, jasmine sighed, "it's almost finished, come on, open up now."

Fanning her face, Miranda cupped her cheeks, "okay"

Amber's apartment

Sitting room

"How did you manage to separate yourself from the incident?" Ingrid asked.

Rodrigo chuckled, "well let's just say it was God, I wasn't ready to meet my end let alone leaving this world when I still have responsibilities to face"

"But dad when you all were informed about the crash, what did you do at that moment?" Amber asked.

Sitting up properly, Rodrigo rubbed his hands and chuckled, "I had no other choice but to take the exit door"

Widening their eyes in shock, Amber Ingrid and Diego shouted, "exit door?"

Nodding his head, "yes I took the exit door"

"But that was a very big risk, dad. What if you had died in the process of landing?" Diego asked.

"How will I die when I landed in the ocean?"

"Ocean?"

"Yes Amy, I dropped out of the plane and landed in the ocean but it wasn't just me but some other people too"

"So what happened to the others that weren't smart enough to jump?" Ingrid asked.
