Kenzo's index finger twitching, he shook his head sideways. Sensing gentle fingers running through his hairs, he recalled, "I fell asleep…" he opened his eyes as sun rays hit in directly like flames. He instantly raised his hand up covering them.

"Finally awake?" Rooh asked.

Kenzo turning around looked up nodding, "Hm… weren't you tired sitting for long? I didn't realize when I had fallen asleep."

Rooh smiled shaking her head, "I won't be tired just by sitting, silly child. However, Mira and Aidan sure were."

Kenzo looked around, "Where are they?"

Rooh chuckled, "Hehe… preparing for the so called feast 1you ordered, your highness." she teased.

Kenzo embarrassed, turned around while she laughed heartily. "So, how was your little adventure?" she inquired.

Kenzo twitched his brow, "Awful." he described it in a single word.

Rooh chuckled again, "It can't be that bad now."

"It wasn't. The moment we went to the base everything was fine but later on. Everything scattered. Going through vigorous training half of us left before even trying. Hugo was invited to Britain as too he left…" Kenzo told.

"Hugo left?!" Rooh repeated surprised.

"Yeah, his talents were too extraordinary to remain unnoticed. The moment he reached the base he was called to Britain due to his performance back at the Nationals. He had the chance to step in the world of professionals. Not that we could stop him, or let him miss that opportunity. In the end we pushed him forward with heavy hearts." Kenzo continued.

"Then, what about his teammates?" Rooh asked concerned.

"They were crestfallen. Moreover, before leaving he even fought with Xavier, that big idiot." he clicked his tongue annoyed.

"Then…?" Rooh asked.

"Then, thirteen amongst us were sent for training and later on we met the highschoolers, those damn jerks!" he uttered vexed, "Those acting too high and mighty, beside that damn Rauf."

"Rauf?" Rooh smiled over his anger.

"The Gold ranked player of the base and someone even more annoying than him!" Kenzo twitched his brow, "The platinum! That shorty!"

"Who?" Rooh continued to ask amused.

"Alan Rex Lorenzo, the son of the head coach! That biggest pain in the neck!!" Kenzo told annoyed, "To think we lost to him and he had the guts teach us despite being a miniature2! Moreover, he even dares to stand before me and calls ' Isa' his highness?! What guts!" he sat up puffing hard.

"Pft! Haha!" Rooh instantly laughed taking her hand to her mouth.

Kenzo looked at her stunned. "She's laughing…?" he thought, "After such a long time…" Kenzo smiled regaining his composure again, "We fight a lot and made ways out of troubles too. He is a nuisance however, a genius too."

"Hehe… To think someone would make you this mad and complement him so much at the same time I am astonished." Rooh wiped her tears, "No, not just one but many." she corrected.

"Alan was his name right? And Rauf and Isa were the other two? I would love to meet them."

"Don't. They aren't worthy of your presence mother." Kenzo furrowed his gaze annoyed while Rooh chuckled.

"But they are your friends and seniors right?" Kenzo hearing the words 'Friends' turned to her flabbergasted, "Friends?!" he repeated shocked.

"Indeed, just take Alan for instance, you said he is a nuisance and you fought a lot too however, you find ways out of troubles together and he is a genius too. Isn't that how friends are?"

Kenzo who blinked his eyes on the huge misconception corrected, "Never. Never in the hell world…"

Just saying a simple word like 'Friends' had loosened his mind screws... "Friends?! No way! We are each other's nemesis3! Those highschoolers are devils, mother." he corrected.

Rooh laughed at his bewilderment, "Alright, alright… haha, calm down now. While you were sleeping your phone had been ringing frequently. Why don't you check it out?"

Kenzo realizing pulled his phone out of his pocket to find 23 unread messages. He narrowed his gaze confused.

"What's happening." Rooh asked.

Reading the messages he wondered for a while. "It's Heber." he told.

"Heber? Is he alright?" she added.

Kenzo nodded, "He is asking if we have time to visit the Shrine at the sea shore to pray."

"Shrine at the sea shore…" Rooh repeated, "Isn't that a great idea? Why don't you all go and pray before the PSL. Pray for the World cup too. I heard that the lock hanging tradition there can fulfil any prayer full of desire no matter what." she informed.

Kenzo nodded, "I'll ask the rest to gather there in the evening if they are free then." he texted.

Reading the news he exhaled thinking, "The IPL final is proceeding fiercely too. Mumbai Indians scoring a 234 as a target, is no walk in the park. For a target to be this high in T-20's…" he furrowed his gaze, "This is the point we have to catch up too in the upcoming PSL…"

Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted by Aidan's voice who entered the garden, "My Queen, young highness. Lunch's ready."

"Come Kenzo, let's have lunch before it gets cold." Rooh stood up giving her hand. Kenzo clicking his phone off, followed.

"And~ checkmate~!" chanted a middle aged man. His legs resting on a wooden table on which a chessboard was kept with a catnip plant stem resting in his mouth. His bright beige colored spiky hairs were disheveled with lethargic blue droopy eyes, he laid down.

"Augh!!" Adam ruffled his hairs aggressively, "I don't like this game at all master! You should be teaching me cricket right now for PSL yet, here we are playing chess?! It makes no sense!" he stood up with his bat annoyed.

"PSL? Are you already selected?" the man asked clueless.

Adam who had been going on and on telling the same thing back from five hours smacked his forehead speechless about to cry, "What were you listening to all this time?! I'll complain to Sera and Cassiel about you! You didn't heard a single word I said!"

The man smirked, "Seraph and Cassiel hun~ those two didn't even met this old man. Throwing you on me and leaving. Sigh~ what generation of kids these days. No respect for teachers."

Adam puffed his cheeks, "They will meet you once we head back to the base. I told this to you too which you didn't even care to listen."

The man chewing the catnip, instantly sat up. "Then, how do you say. I beat you up a little more however, this time in cricket?" he smirked.

Waiting for action since a long time Adam jumped up vigorously, "Yeah finally! Let's do it!"

(15 Minutes Later…)

"What is it?" the man asked rubbing his finger inside his ear unamused. "Don't tell me this is how you are going to perform in the PSL, Adam? If it's like this, you better stay home." he looked at Adam disappointedly who panted harshly before him, the wicket behind him broken once again.

Adam tapping his bat on the ground wiped the sweat under his chin. "It's not that I am weak… you're hella strong master! It's like plying with another Seraph!" he replied ready for another delivery.

The man smirked turning around, tossing the ball up and catching it back. "Is that so~? Then, what if you meet someone like me in the PSL will this be the same excuse after getting out?" he asked throwing another delivery.

Adam grasping the trajectory of the ball calmed his mind. "That's it Adam… don't listen to others. Just listen to the ball. Just like the head coach said." he thought.

As soon as he traced an opening Adam stepped forward slamming the ball for a huge six as it went out of the house on the main road. "Haha!" he gleamed joyfully, while the man glanced at him silent.

"Not an excuse master. If I meet someone as strong as you in the PSL who's constantly behind my wicket, I'll make sure to smack his every single ball out of the ground!" he uttered confident. His eyes blazing passionately.

The man hearing him smiled tugging his hat low, "Make sure not to get out on a six aimed at the sky." he teased taking a new ball out of his pocket. "And also, get me all my balls back from the main road. I don't have a room full of them you runt!" he abrubtly angered after realizing.

"Eh~?" Adam cried, "How stingy! Can't you buy new ones? Don't tell me you're this broke 4now?"

"Yeah, I am! So collect them before you go!" The man snapped.

Suddenly, Adam's phone vibrated. Taking it out, he gasped, "Whoa! So many unread messages?!" "The Sufi shrine…?" he read them one after another.

"Come on Adam! How long are you going to stare at that box?" the man asked.

Instantly gleaming, Adam kept his phone heading inside, "I am leaving master!"

"What?!" the man asked confused heading over.

"Kenzo and the rest are going to visit the shrine. I'll go and ask Cassiel and Seraph to come too!" Adam informed, shoving his bat inside his gear bag and putting his shoes on next.

The man sighed keeping his balls aside, "Get my balls back first."

Adam twitched his brow, "I know, I know you broke old man."

"What in the world are you going to pray there for?" the man asked staring at the sky.

"For victory what else?" Adam replied straightforwardly.

The man shook his head smiling, "Such a simpleton…"
