For those who like strategy battles in detail, this would be the story for you. Also, as the story progress, it will get more scenes that might be difficult for some people, so be warned. ------------------------------------------------------------- Cover art and card design are original work of mine.

Trial by Swords

"Fine. Then, how you want this to go?" The agreement came with a resolution that could be felt in his voice. The second persona did not want to go down easily, and therefore, some sort of duel had to occur between them.

"Swords?" Ahli's other self showed a sword in his right hand and at that moment Ahli realized that he was also holding a sword. The second persona lowered the sword he showed and in exchange, he raised his left hand who was holding a pile of cards, the GICMA cards in specific.

Ahli looked at his left hand and he saw that the very same card was also there. He knew that cards would be his advantage, and he could just choose that. However, he knew what made him different from his other self. Tactical, but not opportunistic. And so he returned the choice at him again.

"It's the battle for your survival. You choose."
