Evil God's Legacy.

"It should be in this direction." Wang Lei said as he was walking in Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range.

He was looking for the position of the dragon that lived here. He used his heavenly gaze to find its position and was moving in its direction.

He looked nothing like a cultivator but more of a mortal scholar, doing his research.

He wore scholarly robes with glasses on his face. His hair was flowing freely behind his as he walked with <Time Scripture> opened in his hand.

He was trying to understand its mysteries as he moved in the direction where he felt the aura of a dragon.

Many profound beasts came but when they saw him, either they bowed in direction or ran away. It was because of the dragon bloodline that gave him suppression on other beasts weaker than him.

As he was walking in the direction of the dragon, he heard a loud blast. He looked up for some time, then back to scripture, and continued reading it.

By looking in that direction, he could tell that people were fighting with the dragon. He didn't care since the dragon was not his goal.

---

In an inconspicuous place inside the forest, a young boy of age 18 was looking in front of him; where a dragon and four cultivators were fighting.

"What should we do Jasmine?" He said, although no one was present beside him.

"What do you mean?! Isn't obvious that should run!" The boy heard a slightly childish voice in his head. He clenched his fist as he looked forward.

"But this is the best chance to take whatever is in that cave! If we miss this chance, then we will never get another one like this one." The boy said.

"What if you are not able to come out in time? Don't be stupid and leave this place, Yun Che!" Jasmine said to the boy, sternly.

Yun Che took a deep breath, "It will be alright!" he said as he sneakily entered the cave, from which the dragon came from.

At the entrance of the cave, he found some herbs that he hurriedly collected and enter deep inside the cave.

As he reached the end of the cave, he saw some crimson shining light. He heard Jasmine voice which could barely hide her astonishment, "That's Evil God's Fire Seed!" She said.

Yun Che hearing her also become wide-eyed, "Are you sure it is the one?" he asked.

Jasmine nodded, "I cannot be wrong. It is definitely Fire Seed of Evil God." She said.

"See, I told you. It would be worthwhile." He said as he went forward and took the seed in his hand.

"Yun Che, don't you think it's awfully quiet?" Jasmine said.

At this time, the dragon should be fighting with cultivators outside. How did it become so silent? Probability of cultivators defeating the dragon never crossed her mind as the dragon was at Peak of Emperor while cultivators were, mostly, fifth of Emperor Realm.

Yun Che hearing her also noticed this. He slowly walked outside to check and saw a dragon groveling on the ground with a scholarly looking person sitting on top of its head, reading an ancient-looking book.

He was wearing glasses on his face as his hair gently dances with the air.

By looking at the person, he could tell that he was not human with how two small horns were protruding from his forehead.

"Oi, Jasmine. What is the level of that person?" Yun Che asked since he couldn't tell it himself though he thought it should be above Peak of Emperor as how dragon didn't retaliate against him.

He waited but Jasmine didn't answer him. Confused he peeked inside the Sky Poison Pearl to see self-shocked Jasmin as tears gathered around her eyes.

"What happened?! Jasmine!" Yun Che asked surprise but got no response in return.

"Brother…" Jasmin said as she gazed at Wang Lei. She didn't know him and she was sure that he was not her brother but she couldn't believe how they looked the same. He looked almost the exact copy of her brother.

"Brother?" Yun Che looked at her in confusion. 'Is that man is her brother?'

Just then both of them heard a voice, "Are you guys done talking?"

Yun Che came back and looked towards Wang Lei, who was looking his way, smiling.

He closed the book as he jumped from the head of the dragon. Even when he left, the dragon didn't dare to stand up as if afraid to anger him.

Wang Lei walking Yun Che's direction and stood in front of him, "Nice meeting you. I am Wang Lei."

Yun Che didn't know how to answer him, "I am Yun Che" he answered cautiously, taking a defensive posture.

"No need to be afraid. I am not going to hurt you or anything. I just want to take a look at your Profound Veins, that's all." Wang Lei said.

Yun Che hearing him suddenly jumped back and readied himself for a battle when he heard Jasmine's, "Stop it, Yun Che! You are no match for him!"

"But he wants to check my veins! Are you saying I should let him do that?"

Jasmine was also in dilemma. First, she was distracted as he looked like her brother, and second that he was too stronger than Yun Che and she can't feel any profound energy on him which made him even more mysterious.

"You should listen to your master, you know. You will die if we fight. In the first place, that dragon over there would ripe you apart if you attacked me." Wang Lei said pointing towards the dragon that was glaring at Yun Che as if to devour him.

Seeing it, Yun Che's body tightens. "How do you know about Jasmine?"

Wang Lei smiled, "Who knows? Anyway, I won't be checking your veins for free. I am a generous person; I will give you something in return. Now decide, would you let me check it or should I force my way. You know if you chose second then you are not coming back alive." He said.

Yun Che gritted his teeth as he felt humiliated as how Wang Lei didn't even register him. For him, he was just another random cultivator but with just little special veins.

"Just follow him, Yun Che. I don't sense any malice from him. At least, he won't kill you." Jasmine said.

She was also unwilling but they had no choice since she didn't know the exact level of Wang Lei and the fact that he can hear their conservation make him an even more dangerous person in her eyes.

But at the same time, she was intrigued by him. Wondering if he can help her in her quest for revenge.

Yun Che, though unwilling, gave up.

Wang Lei smiled, "At least you know what is better for you. Now excuse me." He said as he raises his hand that penetrates Yun Che's body.

Yun Che wide-eyed looked at him but to his wonder, he couldn't feel any pain.

Wang Lei, soon, pulled his hand out. On his hand was a small drop of blood. Yun Che and Jasmine looked at it with stupefied expression since the drop in Wang Lei's hands was Evil God's legacy.

Seeing it, Yun Che hurriedly checked his veins but he could tell that they were still there.

"Well, thanks. In return, here," Wang Lei said as he snaps his finger and a long heavy sword falls in front of them. It was giving a unique feeling of heaviness just by looking at it.

"Well then, let's meet again." Wang Lei said as he walked towards the dragon and sits on it. Dragon took the fight and flew towards the HGB with leaving dumbfound Yun Che and Jasmine behind.

"Do you know what he did, Jasmine?"

"I have no idea but whoever he was, it is better if you don't mess with him. He smells danger to me, reminding me of a certain bit—woman." Jasmine said.

Yun Che nodded. He looked at the heavy sword, "Why would he leave a heavy sword? I don't even know how to use them." He said.

He could, by looking at the sword, tell that it was of the highest quality. But the fact that he doesn't know how to use it would not change.

Jasmin silently looks at the sword as if thinking something.
