Chapter 40: Sowing Destruction

Wang Gui agreed to Wang Tian's request. Senior Golem volunteered to come with him. He decided against it but the Old Golem was adamant in his decision of going with him. Thus, he was forced to agree. HS wanted to come but alas, he didn't want to leave Wang Gui alone. More so, since the existence of the Galaxy Dew Wine was now known.

...

"How far are we from the nearest empire?" A figure clad in black, long hair and wearing an eye patch asked.

"Maybe in just about five more hours." A big bulky man with a bushy moustache wearing silver clothing replied.

These two were Wang Tian and his Senior Golem. The two were riding on a creature made by Senior Golem's abilities. A horse golem.

The sounds of the horse golem's footsteps echoed about as they passed forest after forest in just a few short breaths. After thinking about it for a moment, Wang Tian told Senior Golem to tell the horses to slow down.

Why was he out of the sect? To gain experience, to gain knowledge about the surroundings, and perhaps enjoy the sceneries as they go. The horse slowed down and after a few more moments, they came across a small village.

The village wasn't big. It only spanned for a few miles.

Wang Tian and Senior Golem dashed towards the village in their flashy horses.

In an instant, they were swarmed by humans.

"Whoa! How cool is that!" A human said.

"Is this thing alive?"

"Hey mister! Can I ride this horse of yours?" One of the children playfully asked.

The parent of that child saw this and then she turned pale. She quickly slapped the child's head and then kowtowed towards Wang Tian and Senior Golem.

"My lords! I'm so sorry for my child's offense! Please let us off! Have mercy!" That person begged.

Wang Tian saw this and felt shocked a bit. Although the knowledge from his Master told him that things were as such, he hasn't experienced it yet.

Senior Golem looked on neither too cold or caring. He didn't want to mingle with mere mortals. But even though he was a golem, he has a heart. He didn't see what the child did as a sin. In fact,he very much liked to see how his Young Master was going to deal with this situation. There is an unwritten rule in the Cultivation World that mortals should be left untouched since that in itself would be taboos! A sin that the heavens themselves would sometimes take action upon!

Wang Tian sized up the boy and said, "it is no big deal."

With his eyes that was supported by the vast knowledge of his master, he discerned that the boy had a bit of potential to cultivate. Thus, he took out a high quality spirit stone and a talisman that would protect the boy.

"Ahh" he clicked his tongue.

"Boy, come here" Wang Tian said.

The little boy was about eight years old. He had shining eyes that contained no fear when talking to someone as powerful as Wang Tian.

"Hey mister, hehe I'm sorry about what I said." The little boy playfully apologized.

"Good lad!" Wang Tian replied with a smile.

"Are you an immortal mister? My parents told me stories about immortals..." The little boy's smile widened and then asked.

Wang Tian shook his head and said, "I'm not. Maybe someday I will be."

"It is fate that we have met. Here, take this. I see that you have a bit of potential to cultivate, maybe you can become one of us." He continued.

"Take these, this should help you." Wang Tian handed the high quality spirit stone and the talisman to the boy. He thought about it for a moment, and decided to write a cultivation technique to the boy.

This technique is called, "Raining Blood Technique".

It was a technique that came from his Master's wide range of knowledge. His master saw this technique in a person that he had killed. Thus, he knew the specifics of it. This technique gave the one who cultivated it immense power in a very short time but also an immense urge to slaughter.

Wang Tian gave it to the boy because he was interested. He was interested on whether the boy could control his own urges to slaughter and not kill his entire village. This in itself was a gift from him! A very valuable gift. If the boy could live past the painful experiences and get used to slaughtering, he would become a supreme expert! Which cultivator didn't kill? Experiences shapes people. This was what Wang Tian wanted. He wasn't overly scheming at the boy but he wanted to plant a seed that could someday, become one of his own trusted aides.

How could the lives of these human mortals matter to him? He was a half demon! He has become even more accustomed to his demonic side due to constantly stimulating his bloodline in the past seven years. The ingrained disdain towards all other races was starting to show itself. Of course, Wang Tian has a heart and he was kind. But only to those he knew and had a close relationship with. Otherwise, he wouldn't care at all. He just met this kid. Why would he care about the boy's family or fellow villagers? Moreover, he was even generous enough to give the boy a chance to become a cultivator!

After a few moments, Wang Tian handed the boy the manual. Senior Golem recognized the title.

'Raining Blood Technique!' His eyes flashed. He knew what technique this was. Following his master's side for thousands of years, he knew almost 70% of his Master's battles and experiences.

He looked at Wang Tian and said, "You sure about that?"

Wang Tian smiled and said, "Let the seed be planted and grow into a sturdy tree. Forged by the elimination of its own kind to sustain itself."

Senior Golem nodded and didn't think of it more. Right now, he served his Young Master and wouldn't act for the benefit of others. Only for his Young Master. He saw that what Wang Tian did was a bit wrong but he didn't mind it. Although it was hurting mortals in the process, well, technically Wang Tian isn't the one who will do so in the future. It doesn't count as violating the taboo. Instead, he praised Wang Tian for his peerless acting skills. The way he showed the people that he had no other intentions was truly marvelous.

The little boy excitedly took put the items away and then went back to his mother.

"Mom! Look! The mister gave me something!" That little boy excitedly said.

The mother once more kowtowed to Wang Tian and said, "Thank you my Lord for your generoussness! Your mercy and gracefulness shall remain throughout the endless years!"

The crowd looked at the little kid and the mother with greed. Some even flashed with killing intent.

'What his Lordship gave was clearly a treasure! If I could get my hands on it...'

'Hehe, a treasure! It'll be mine later....'

'How come he gets to have a treasure! It should be mine!'

Wang Tian saw this and tried his best to maintain his composure. He sighed and thought to himself, 'Humans are truly despicable creatures. I have yet to meet humans other than my relatives who aren't evil. Sigh... Even mortals are like this.'

The mom's face went pale when she saw the faces of her fellow village men.

"To those of you who want to steal or harm these two, don't even think of it or else your whole village shall experience my wrath." Wang Tian said coldly.

The faces of those who were envious and throwing greedy gazes towards the mother and son duo instantly went pale.

After Wang Tian's threat, a mortal approached him. The mortal looked to be about forty years old but his body was brimming with vitality.

"My Lords, forgive me for my insolence. I am the Village Head. Would you like to grace my home with your presence and accompany us as I throw a banquet to receive

our Highnesses?"

'If I can successfully invite these two in, the rumours will spread and the other villages will think that we have the backing of an immortal! We will be spared from bloodshed for a few years!' the Village Head thought.

Wang Tian looked at the Village Head's shining eyes and instantly read what the other wanted. 'Trying to make use of me eh?' Wang Tian thought to himself as his eyes flashed.

'I should kill you for even thinking of using me but oh well, who knows if you're still alive after a few years from now hehe.' Wang Tian thought to himself as he restrained his killing intent.

Wang Tian politely declined and then left with Senior Golem.

After the two left, the whole village was turned upside down. The mother and son duo were placed gained the full protection of the village head. Their statuses rose in status significantly.

...

After a few more hours of travelling, Wang Tian and Senior Golem arrived at the nearest empire.

Moon Summit Empire.

This empire was a few hundred years old and was ruled by a cultivator called Emperor Ku.

This empire was very prosperous. It spanned a few tens of thousands miles and was relatively big. The structures were tall and extravagant.

"Pay up. The entrance is a thousand low quality spirit stones." The guard at the gate said.

'A thousand low quality spirit stones? Although not very pricy for me, others wouldn't be able to afford it...' Wang Tian thought to himself as he handed two thousand low quality spirit stones to the guard.

The two entered the empire and was instantly greeted by the luxurious and bustling surroundings of the Silver Crow City. The Silver Crow City is the capital of the Moon Summit Empire.

The buildings here were unlike the buildings on Earth. Most of them weren't towering to the skies. In fact, they resembled the buildings that were present in Ancient China. Thus, as someone who has lived in the modern world, it was a pleasant sight.

"Where do you want to go Young Master?" Senior Golem said with a smile.

"Hmm... Maybe at a restaurant." Wang Tian said. Affected by his father's hobby, he wanted to feast on different kinds of cuisines too. The two asked around and then they were pointed at a building that reached up to the skies.

"Heavenly Tower Restaurant huh? I hope it's as heavenly as it say it is." Wang Tian said while entering the restaurant.

"Indeed, although Master and the rest don't do things like these, we have ocassionally visited the most prestigious restaurants in the various planets. I wonder how this restaurant will fare to the others?" Senior Golem said while recalling his past experiences.

"We should go there someday. Take a trip around the planets and feast on different cuisines. With Senior Long and the others." Wang Tian offered. He sorely missed Senior Long even if it only has been a couple of weeks.

"That would be a delight!" Senior Golem replied as he clicked his tongue.

"Oh, hello. Welcome to the restaurant..." A middle aged man said suspectingly. This man must probably be the cashier.

'Who are these two? Are they Wandering Cultivators? How presumptuous of them to enter this restaurant with their measly statuses!

"How many floors does your restaurant have?" Wang Tian asked. Wang Tian could see through the cashier's thoughts and found it natural.

"We have ten floors, the 10th floor is off limits to all guests while the other nine are accessed depending on cultivation and status."

The cashier scanned the two of them and disdainfully said, "For you hmmmm... I think it'd be best for you both to stay here since you don't have any strength nor status."

Indeed, Senior Golem's cultivation base was too high that it seemed like he was a mortal. There wasn't a single strand of his aura leaking. Wang Tian also only looked like a Houtian Lifeform. Thus, his cultivation base was insignificant. This is the reason why the cashier concluded that they didn't have any strength.
