Chapter 9

Sebastian smiled at how this little woman wants to rush things.

"No rush. I will wait for your response tomorrow," Sebastian said as he left.

Mei, who was already driven to a corner, can't decide. But does she have a choice, the doctor only said he don't know until what span of time can he keep her brother alive.

"Wait. Please, wait," Mei said as she stood up.

"I don't have much choice, you know. My brother's life is more important than mine. I will sign it now," Mei said with a decisive tone.

"Alright. Suit yourself. Carl, give her a pen," Sebastian said as he sat back down in his chair.

After she signed the papers, Sebastian gave her another folder.

"What's this?" Mei asked.

"My suggestion to your problem," Sebastian said.

She looked at the front cover of the folder and realized it was a medical plan for her brother. He wanted to send Freddie to Japan for a more professional medical help. And attached to the folder was a file of a perfect candidate to be Freddie's donor.

She looked at him.

"You want to send him away?" Mei asked.

"It's the perfect way to keep him from prying into your secret marriage. I'm sure, you don't want him to know you've married me secretly without him knowing. And Japan is the perfect country to provide him the help he needs," Sebastian explained.

He was a man of few words, but with this woman in front of him, he couldn't help but talk more and the most surprising thing is, he didn't feel aggravated at all when talking to her.

"Oh, since we're already married. I suggest you leave your penthouse and live with me. I'd like to make our marriage more realistic," Sebastian said as he stood up to leave.

She only nodded to agree.

"Carl will help you move out.," he added.

"Can I move out just after my brother leaves?" Mei asked.

"As you wish," he said before he left.

Mei went to her brother's room to tell him the good news she has.
