A life like mother.

Shiha tries to stand up from her sit..

When jinchen hold her arm..

"hey.. Be careful, you might hurt yourself.. The waiter is still cleaning.. They are pieces near your foot too."

Jinchen thought that shiha was going to leave.. But shiha said the waiter to pick the broken piece from the walking way first.. Before anyone walk from there.

Jinchen was surprised.. She really cares less about herself.

After cleaning the mess. The waiter left.

Shiha drink the water.. And said..

"i am sorry.. I was just.."

Before she continued, jinchen said..

"it's ok. It happens.. Thank God, that your dress didn't stain."

"you were stun.. Because of my job?" asked jinchen..

Shiha glance at him.. Then said.. "i didn't expected that you are in military. Its just, when you said the word military. It reminds me of my father."

"ohh..so your father is in military.." said jinchen.

Shiha gave a bitter smile and said..

"he was. I lost him in an car accident."

"ohh..sorry."

"it's ok. It had been so many years. But instead i should be sorry.. I don't think we can go further."said shiha directly. She never likes to bush around.

Jinchen look in shiha's eyes. He can see many different emotions in her eyes.

"can i know the reason."ask jinchen.

Shiha took a long breath and said..

" i always wish to have a happy family.. But i don't know whom to blame. One reason was my father's job. He was in military, so he was not able to give the time to his family. I had seen my mother crying alone. Whenever my father goes on operation.. We as family don't know his whereabout. I just don't want to live the life like my mother.. "

Jinchen nodded.."hmm, i understand.. My father is in military too.. But we can't do anything.. Its our duty."

Shiha gaze at him and said.. "i know you guys work for the country, for its safety and for the citizens security.. You guys are abide by duties.. But there is responsibility too.. Which you be can't ignore.. But some people ignore it."

Jinchen looked at shiha. He can feel the pain and sorrow in her voice.

Shiha smiled at him and continued..

"you are really a great guy.. Your wife must be a lucky one. I just want to say.. I think you must find someone who is in military too. So that you both can spend the time together. At least she is aware about your whereabouts.. And your child would not feel alone.. He can get the happy family. Unlike me."

Jinchen was surprised by her thought..

"you are really an interesting person. You care about others more then yourself.. Haann.. Your husband must be the most luckiest person in the universe."

Shiha gave a innocent smile.. "hmm. So best of luck.. I hope you find someone soon.. There must be beauties in military too."

Jinchen smile and said.. "same.. Best of luck to you too.. I hope you find your Prince charming soon. But you are a great person.. I don't want to lost such a great friend.. Will you be my friend.." he extend his hand towards her.

Shiha was surprised.. She smile and shook hand with him.."of course.. I would me lucky to have a great friend like you.." said shiha.

Afterwards they both left the restaurant in different directions..

As usual shiha has to go to Grandma Tang's place..

So instead of going there after dinner, she decides to go there now.

She reached st Grandma Tang's place.

As she entered aunt Zu welcome her. Grandma Tang was sitting in the living room.. She was having fruits after lunch.

Shiha went towards her. She gave a hug to her Dida.. Asked about her health and all.

"How was your blind date.." asked Grandma Tang.

Shiha took a slice of apple, ate it and replied.. "quite good.. He is a nice man."

Grandma Tang's eyes lit up.. "really.. I knew it. After all his grandmother is great lady.. And very kind. So her grandson, of course have a good upbringing."

Grandma Tang, clasps her hand.. And continued.. "i will talk to his family.. Great i am so happy.."

Shiha looked at her grandmother, she sigh and said.. "Dida, its not like what you think.. He is a great guy, but i don't think, we would have a future together.."

Grandma Tang was confused.. "why? Didn't you said.. He is a nice man."

"yes, i said it Dida.. But i can't be together with him."

"why" asked Grandma Tang.

Shiha took a deep breath and replied..

"He is in military.."

At the same time.. Mu jin walk in from the entrance..

He gave a confused look to both..

Grandma Tang turn towards shiha and said.. "so what, if he is in military. I am sure he would have a bright future ahead."

Shiha was getting irritate and frustrate at a time.. "Dida.. If he has a bright future or not .. it has nothing to do with me.. I don't know anything, but at least i know, i don't have any future with him.."

Grandma Tang gave her the furious look.. "why? I think he is a great match for you.. And his family is also good."

"Dida, i have to live with him, not with his family.. I don't care how's his family is.. I care about his work.. And i don't want to marry a man who is in

Military.."

Grandma Tang raise her voice and said..

"why.. I don't think there is any problem with his job."

Shiha stood up from the sofa..

With gritted teeth she spoke.. "No means no.. I don't want my husband to be in military.."

Mu jin standing aside.. By now, he had understood what's going on.. First he thought he should leave, but then he saw that the atmosphere was getting heated.. So he must stay here, what if, anyone lost the temper.

Grandma Tang too stood up and said..

"shiha, i am asking why?"

Shiha didn't look at her Dida and said.. "i don't want.. Means i don't want.."

"But there must be a reason.." said Grandma Tang.

Shiha control her rage and said..

"it's not necessary to answer very why."

Grandma Tang was now determined to know the answer of her why..

The atmosphere was turning hot. Both shiha and Grandma Tang were controlling their own anger..

"shiha i am asking you last time.. Why?"

"Dida, i am also saying it last time.. You want me to marry someone than i will, but not him."

Grandma Tang hold shiha's arm tightly and said.. "why! What's the problem.."

Shiha lost her temper.. She free herself from grandma Tang hold and said with and angry voice.

"you want to know.. Then listen, i don't want to live the life like mother."

Grandma Tang was shocked. She had never imaged that this might be the reason..

Mu jim took a step ahead.. To stop shiha.. But Shiha continued.. "From childhood i just wish to have a happy family. But so sad, I am not that lucky. I had seen mother crying alone. She silently wait for father..to spend time with him.. But what happens when he comes.. They just argue and fights.. I don't want my children to be like me.. I don't want my children to live the life i had lived.. I want to give them the happy family. You were not there when your son and daughter in law had an arguments.. But i was present in each and every arguments.. I don't remember much.. But i have an vague memories.. And those memories are enough for me and my nightmares.. "

Grandma Tang was shocked by sudden disclose of the reason.. She sat down on the sofa.. She held her head in one hand.. The words shiha spoke still sounds in her ears..

Shiha took a long breath..

It was the first time, after so many years.. shiha had raise the voice against her grandmother. The last time she raised her voice was when Grandma Tang refused to give the information about those people..

Shiha didn't speak.. She turn around and walk towards the exit. Mu jin was standing there like a statue. Shiha walk over, stopped in her track and said to Mu jin.. "Take care of her..and help her to be calm. And don't disturb me for few days.. I want to live alone."

Saying this shiha left the place.

She was angry and sad at a time.

'i should not shout at Dida.. I raised my voice against her.. She must be feeling hurt..' thought shiha.
