Soon the mob leaked to their sides and Khalifa and Kylo took out their cold weapons to deal with them. There were dozens of lower-leveled zombies. However, their degree of decomposition told her they hadn't been turned recently.
This meant that there was a new opening somewhere nearby. She whipped her head towards Kylo, who nodded, immediately running to trace where the new opening was, slashing the zombies blocking his way at the same time.
Later, he would find out the zombies were coming from an inconspicuous alley that was broken down when everyone was busy, well, everywhere else.
He would block this along with the soldiers nearby, but unfortunately there were still a lot of deaths.
Kylo discovered the many flaws of the base that day, swearing to make it impenetrable after all this was over.
