Chapter Two
Mr Levi and Choi are planning a meeting with their kids.....for them to talk about the promise they made . Both Avery and Kai were invited but Mr Levi and Mr Choi are very nervous while waiting for them to arrive. After some time , both Avery and Kai finally arrived. "So why have u guys called us here" . Avery said while hugging her dad and Mr Choi. Well .....aaaa l want to remind you guys that we thought this through before deciding this and no matter what , you guys should know that both me and Choi love u guys very much and we want the best for u both. Uncle Levi please stop beating around the bush and tell us what u want to say cause l'm getting worried . "Son , when me and Lev became parents , we decided that our kids will one day marry each other if they turn 20....ur already 20years but Avery will turn 20 in three weeks. s so ...after 3weeeks , u both will get married". Avery giggled and angrily said : "So ur telling me that u guys made an immature promise to each other years ago ....a a and now u want both of us to suffer for it ...no no no .....ur kidding right ?". My dear we are not joking.... we we we are serious . Look even Kai is happy . Mr Levi said while looking at Kai blushing. "Ka Kai ..... what's wrong with u (deep breath)why are u smiling . U told me that u had a crush on someone ". Avery stated with an angry look . Yes l have a crush on someone and that someone is u , Avery ..... it's u , it has always been u . Kai emotionally said . Avery loudly sighed and then said , l only see you as a friend nothing else . Avery walked a way leaving Kai embarrassed and emotional.
Mr Levi touched Kai shoulder and asked him why he didn't tell him early about his feelings for Avery but Kai said that he needed some time alone.
My room is messy , what were u doing..... where, where u cleaning or dirtining my room . Now get out of my room ...now . Avery shouted at her maid . Avery dear , what's wrong ...you have never shouted at anyone like that before. Nanny ! l'm Soo stressed , right now . Avery said while crying then her Nanny hugged her tight .
Avery told her Nanny everything that happened . Her Nanny advices her to give Kai a chance and see how things go from there and Avery agreed .
Hello , hello there everyone . Mr Levi do u remember me ? well ..... l didn't come here as a business rival but l just came here ....to umm....rather find out when the wedding will take place . Mr Vincent stated ( Mr Levi's biggest rival) . Mr Levi loudly stated from upstairs while coming downstairs; What wedding are u talking about ...Mr Vincent. "Oh! did u forget about it Soo quickly, well.... I remember it as if it was yesterday when u and Mr Choi promised each other in front of me and many other that you will get ur kids married to each other . So what happened isn't the wedding going to take place , haha ". Mr Vincent stated while laughing. Well! Avery interrupted her dad and said ; of course the wedding will happen and u are invited. After three weeks.... me , Avery Levi will get married to Kai Choi ." Hmm whatever..... call me just in case the wedding gets cancelled....okay !". Mr Vincent stated with a disappointed face . "Don't worry Vincent, that won't happen" . Mr Levi proudly said .
After Mr Vincent went , Mr Levi asked Avery why she decided to get married to Kai all of the sudden and Avery said that she would never let both her dad and uncle's reputation get ruined.
Kai got a message from Avery stating that she has excepted to marry him but it's just a compromise. He tried to change her mind because he doesn't want her to get married against her will but it all went in vein, so he decided to at least give her a beautiful proposal.
He called Avery and asked her to meet him Lily's Farm . He drove to the farm but Avery came earlier than he expected, she was behind him . So he drove faster in order to reach before her. He parked his car and then Avery arrived. Aah .....welcome Avery , do u mind if we hold hands and walk around the farm like we used to . Ya , l don't mind .....Avery stated while holding Kai's hand. They walk through the farm and then it starts to drizzle. Avery starts to smile and then holds Kai's hands and they start to go round in circles. Kai starts to let go of Avery and he starts to look at her while she's playing in the rain , he starts to admire her beautiful smile and her face glowing while rain drops on her skin . Ur so beautiful.....Avery . Pardon ! Avery paused while Kai gets closer , and closer . Avery starts to feel butterflies in her stomach while she looks at Kai . Ur Soo Handsome, why are u so (sighs ) handsome?. Within a blink of an eye , they kissed slowly and it starts to rain , cats and dogs . I'm so ...so ...sorry ...umm l got carried away with ur beauty. Kai stated while moving away from Avery . Don't be sorry , l also got carried away by her soft lips . aaaa ....l mean . Avery stated . It's starting to rain heavily, hold my hand .... let's run to safety . Kai said while smiling. Let's go . They ran on the muddy road while smiling. They looked so happy together.
They finally reached a ban where Kai decorated with lots of lights , the floor was decorated with flowers and made into heart shapes . And a big board saying; "WILL YOU MARRY ME ". Avery was flabbergasted and asked if it was meant for her. Then Kai went down on one kneel and said ; You are my sunshine, u have always been their in my darkest days, you have always supported me , ur not only my best friend but also the love of my life , please make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife . l promise to give u my time and love u until , l Breath my last breathe . Avery cries and then says ; l have never told u this but , l also have a huge crush on you .....l was just not ready to accept it but when we kissed l felt butterflies inside my stomach. You make u feel some type of way and yes l would love to be ur wife . Kai then put the diamond ring on Avery's finger and then kissed her . They took some pictures to show to their parents.
