Yu Long left behind a ghost clone with the help of [Art of Ghost], leaving Fran to her own device. He had already taken a sample of Meng Yiran's blood and was curious to see how impressive her physique was as the person above the mortal realm.

'Thank you, Your Majesty.' As Yu Long stepped away into the heavy rain, he could hear Meng Yiran's grateful voice. 

Yu Long didn't turn around and replied, 'I didn't do anything except wake Fran up. It's up to her whether she could accept the reality or not with all she had due to your presence.'

'Still, thank you...'

'Fran is one of my creations, who followed me to the very death in the past. If no one could help Fran, I would give her some hands because of my past attachments.' Yu Long walked away. 

'Tell her I'll be waiting in the nearby courtyard if she decides to strengthen her Essence Sphere.' 

Meng Yiran blinked at Yu Long's figure in the heavy rain. She smiled a little because he was such a bashful young man.

'I think the way he acts is called Tsundere.' Meng Yiran giggled as she recalled Fran's teaching years ago.

The rain couldn't touch Yu Long's body for some reason, as if an invisible barrier covered up to 0.1 millimeters from his skin or clothes. The water droplets bounced off him.

Yu Long arrived at the courtyard and sensed someone waiting for him. He looked ahead and saw Lily coming with a towel. 

"You are still awake?" 

Hearing Yu Long's question, Lily shook her head gently and replied, "As a maid, how could I sleep before my young master? Not to mention, tonight is quite rainy."

Lily approached Yu Long and gently rubbed his hair with the towel. She wiped the grime from his face and neck, giving a satisfying sigh after Yu Long looked presentable enough. 

Although he wasn't that dirty because the fight earlier couldn't make him sweat, Yu Long let Lily do her things. He smelled the towel's fragrance and warmness, smiling at how thoughtful this money-grubber maid of his was.

Nevertheless, Lily knew Yu Long the best as she accompanied him the longest in his third life.

"Done. You shouldn't have disappeared like that anymore." Lily scolded with a pout. 

"Oh, you noticed?" Yu Long chuckled in return.

Lily rolled her eyes, "Young Master, I've known you since you were a baby. I always have my eyes on you." 

"Well, the same goes for Hong Guan and Chu Yueli, as they were eavesdropping on our conversation not far away." 

"Well, well, Lily." Chu Yueli comes out from the corner with a friendly smile. "That's not a nice way to say things about your colleagues." 

Hong Guan didn't say anything and walked beside Chu Yueli. Even if Lily slandered her, she doesn't think much of it. 

'It doesn't matter. You're still eavesdropping!' Lily's mouth twitched slightly. 

Yu Long was 'actually' amused by their interaction. He clapped his hands to gain their attention and said, "Since all of you were here, I have good and bad news." 

Hong Guan, Lily, and Chu Yueli stopped their arguments and focused their gazes on Yu Long.

Yu Long explained to them his encounter with the Fairy Queen Fran a while ago and made the maids' expressions sullen. They have known about [Kaiju Maker] and his past life when they were in the Dragon God's Trials Ground, but to learn that the past Kaiju survived and lived well in the Primal Chaos is something else.

Yu Long's maids know just how dangerous Kaiju can be. Well, their Shadow Realm's fortress is literally one.

Chu Yueli couldn't help but ask, "Is there a plausibility that your past Kaiju will become our enemy, young master?" 

"There is." Yu Long nodded calmly.

"But I don't think the chance is that high. They won't want to fight their creator, after all." 

"Unless they wanted fate worse than death..." Yu Long's golden eyes become dimmer, and his tone is colder than ever.

Lily stared at Yu Long and said, "I will alert all branches and the main base about this matter. They should be able to detect any disturbance with enough preparation." 

"What about the Lost Heaven Sect..." Hong Guan pointed out. "Maybe we should spread our force more." 

"Also, don't forget about the Shadow Agents on other continents. They have been doing a mission for months now." 

Yu Long nodded and replied, "I will tell my Kaiju to relay some message later. Considering the time of Fran's arrival, we only have one or two days before Dullahan's arrival." 

"I hope he was still as civil as I remembered..." 

"Before we smoothen everything, may I ask how strong this Fran and Dullahan was?" Chu Yueli rubbed her chin in wonder. 

Yu Long recalled Fran's story and answered, "Fran and Meng Yiran are well-known in the Divine Realm as the Thorn Princess. With such fame, her cultivation base is actually quite low..." 

"She's at the 8th Level of Divine Soul Realm." 

"Divine Soul Realm..." Chu Yueli's eyes lit up. "That's the second stage of Seven Divine Realm." 

"And you defeated her effortlessly. Young Master is as amazing as always."

"What's the matter? Did you guys regret choosing this path?" Yu Long teased them.

The maids shook their heads immediately and answered, "No." 

"We are grateful!" 

Yu Long smiled, "That's why I love you three."

"Eh?" Lily was shocked.

"This..." Chu Yueli got caught off guard.

"I love you too, young master." Hong Guan was the only one who returned Yu Long's confession with a gentle smile. 

They planned a few things before the Death Knight's arrival. Yu Long bade good night when he believed their plans were good enough for tonight.

"I still have to get the Evil God's Water Seed." Yu Long returned to his room. "The Heaven Basin Secret Realm. There should be a time dilation between the secret realm and the outside world, allowing to get the Evil God's Dark Seed in the Azure Sky Continent." 

"Aih, tomorrow will be a long day." 

As Yu Long meditated beside the bed, he glanced at the sleeping Xia Qingyue and Cang Yue. He'd do anything to protect his loved ones.

Of course, Yu Long also felt he was forgetting about something. 

'Ah, that old man.' Yu Long remembered his plan with Yun Canghai.
