Chapter 44 New family.

After learning of the unexpected side effect of the regeneration tank Steuner asked to put the Shaman back into the tank so he can also return to his prime.

The Doctors agreed without a problem and shaman went back in, also happy to get back to his prime.

The females were spending time with Monica and other humans explaining to them their situation before Steuner arrived.

As females from dead clans they had no one to protect them and were hunted down to become slaves for other clans or if they were lucky a concubine.

Steuner arrived just in time to save them and took them under his protection. There were some lizard men who opposed but after he cut five of them to ribbons the rest did not dare to challenge him.

Then he learned that his whole tribe was destroyed and that he was the last one.

The tribe that destroyed his clan wanted to finish the job but they just ended up dead instead.

Some time later he visited the tribe that was allied with his tribe and that's where he found shaman and the orphans.

He took them all in as members of his tribe and when he saw the wounded warriors he asked the tribe chieftain if he could take them in as well and he got permission.

In fact the tribe was happy to get rid of them as they were just a burden to them.

THe humans were shocked to hear this.

The young ones were curiously looking at the new things but they didn't touch anything without permission of the humans.

The oldest child was a female and she stayed with the adults, according to the others she would be coming of age in a few weeks and was worried about finding a husband who would take her as a wife.

The Steuner entered into the room smiling from ear to ear which looked grotesque with his sharp teeth.

-Why are you so happy?

Mikael asked.

-Because I will have a dozen young healthy wariors in my clan in a few days.

Steuner answered.

Everyone was looking at him not understanding what he ment.

-The regeneration tanks will not only heal my men but also rejuvenate them.

The doctor said that it has something to do with the physique of my people.

Steuner explained in a happy voice.

He came closer to his new adopted daughter and put his hand on her shoulder.

-Daughter you can stop worrying about finding a husband, soon you will have many young and powerful warriors to choose from.

The young woman was touched not only by the prospect of having a way to become a wife but mostly because the chieftain called her his daughter for the first time acknowledging her status and she knew that even if she was adopted by any other clan then she would never get the status of a daughter much less a chieftain's daughter.

She was so happy that she started crying.

The humans didn't understand this so Steuner explained what just happened and after that he called over the rest of the children and one by one he called them sons and daughters giving them the status and acknowledging them as his own children.

What's more he gave them a family they now had a father and many mothers to care for and protect them.

When humans understood what just happened they congratulated them all.

-Well now you will have a ton of paperwork to fill out.

Sanders said laughing.

-Why would I have to do paper work?

Steuner asked.

-Well you just got yourself fifteen wifes and over twenty children and according to Terran law if one of parents or a husband is a Terran then their children and wifes automatically became Terran citizens.

She explained while still laughing, she knew for a fact that he hated paperwork.

The other humans finally understood and started laughing as well.

-You have a Terran citizenship so now you have to file for them to get theirs.

Simon Said while laughing.

-I can't wait to see the faces of the council when they hear about it.

Mikael added the fuel to the fire.

-All of the lizard people couldn't understand what was going on so Steuner explained to them that the moment they became his family they also became Terrans under the law of humans and he as the chieftain had to write some documents that were required of him.

They understood most of it but they still didn't get why the humans were laughing.

-He hates to fill out the paperwork and we all know it and that made us laugh.

Monica tried to explain.

-You will understand later .

Mikael said finally getting his laughter under control.

Steuner was not offended by this and he had to admit that it was funny because he really hated paperwork and now he had over thirty sets of papers to fill out.

The next day the children and the females went to earth with Steuner to start their education, the rest of the clan would join them later when they were healed.

Steuner had to explain some rules to them so that there would be no incidents and they all listened attentively.

They didn't want to embarrass him in front of humans.

However the humans they met later were all helpful and explained a lot of things to them.

They all soon started classes and it turned out that Steuner wasn't the only one who learned fast.

All of them were the same, they absorbed the knowledge at an astonishing rate.

Steuner left not long after they settled in as he had his duties.

They all understood that he had to work hard for them and he did it gladly for his new family.

When he got back to the moon he did the paperwork which took him almost all day and sent it

Next on his list was to talk with the council about his status and his new clan.

Saying that the council was shocked was an understatement.

They all expressed their condolences for his tribe and congratulated him on his marriages and children.

Some of them were even a little jealous of him but others wished him many more wifes and many strong sons and beautiful daughters.

He thanked them and got back to his friends after checking on his warriors and shaman.

They were doing good and the healing process was going well,It would take another two weeks for the warriors to be fully healed and shaman was just two days away from returning to his prime.

Even now he was looking much younger when Steuner saw him through the glass of the tank.
