Stop flirting

One week later

Gabi pov

It has been one week since Gabi was injured during the fight and one week when Makima had isolated herself from the young boy. Gabimaru was somewhat hurt at the fact she would ignore him. They haven't done their morning training together and she even teamed up with Yu to go on missions. However, Gabi got over it and didn't really pay any mind to the girl he was busy with Shoko and they went on missions together and their bond grew stronger than before. Gabimaru never had a friend before and since Shoko was his first friend he really cherished her dearly. Speaking of which, Gabi is stuck in the library with Shoko because she is studying more about human bodies.

" Shoko, we have been here for two hours. Can we do something you know… something fun." Gabi complained as he placed a potato chip in his mouth while leaning back on the chair having his two feet on the table.

Shoko slightly giggled at him, " And you have been eating junk food for the past two hours. I'm surprised you are not overweight by now. "

" Let's not talk about health because smoking cigarettes is not good for your body," He clapped back at the girl.

Shoko shot a playful glare at the unfazed boy, " You know I only do it when I'm stressed," She explained to him.

" There's nothing to be stressed about. "

The girl sighs at the boy, " Yes there are plenty of reasons to be stressed in my shoes. I only know how to heal others and myself. I'm too useless on the battlefield."

Gabi leans forward on the chair so he can put his feet on the ground to face the girl, " We all have strength and weakness and just because you can't fight doesn't mean you're useless. As long as I'm here I will protect you and you can heal me up. How does that sound?" he smiled at her.

Red took over Shoko's cheek and she shyly hid her face by covering it with the huge textbook, "Hush up, Gabi. Eat your food, I'm almost finished."

The puzzled boy didn't understand why the girl went shy on him but he ignored it and went back to eating his chips.

( Shoko said she would be finished soon. WHY 1 HOUR HAD PASSED BY?!)

Gabiamru was getting impatient with Shoko and he wanted to go out and eat since they had nothing else to do. Suddenly an evil plan appeared in Gabi's head.

( Hmm, that sounds wonderful, Gabimaru. I'm such an intelligent boy.)

Gabi's smirk grew so big that Shoko even noticed it. She lowered the textbook down and gazed into Gabi's eyes wondering what he was plotting.

" Umm, Gabimaru. Are you okay?" She questions the boy who has an unpredictable mind.

Gabi got up from his chair and shrugged his shoulders, " Maybe or maybe not. " He was taking baby steps near the sitting girl.

Shoko was on high alert with the boy. She knew he was about to do something but didn't know what. Before she could speak out again Gabi wrapped his arms from behind the girl causing her to freeze still like a manikin. " Gotchu." He whispered in her ears causing her body to shiver and grabbed the textbook out of her hand and ran away, " SEE YOU OUTSIDE SHOKO!" He yelled as he ran out of the library and Shoko remained seated on the chair flabbergasted by what just happened to her.

As Gabimaru was jogging outside the premises of the school without notice a large metal bat came in his direction. When the bat was 5 centimeters away from Gabi he jumped over the bat and rolled over on the ground.

( Not this creep again.)

The woman held the bat close to her and had this mischievous smirk on her face. " Hello Gabi." she sent him a wink.

Gabi had a disgusted look on his face wanting to throw up, " What do you want Mei Mei ?"

" Nothing much really. I just saw you running and I wanted to play," she said.

( Of course. This woman needs help.)

" Well since that's all you want I may take my leav…'' As he was about to walk away she halted his movements. "Not so fast snowflake. Sensei Yaga asks me to bring you and the others so he can give ya a mission."

( Everyday is a mission. Today was supposed to be my time off.)

" Okay, where he is. " Gabi didn't even want to argue with Mei Mei because she simply always creeps him out trying to flirt with him even though she is five years older than him.

" Classroom," She answers him. " When you're done with that mission you should take me out on a date."

Gabi stood there with a questionable look, " And why would I do that?"

 "So you can pay for my meal. It's a gentlemen's way to always treat a lady well on a date."

" Yeah, no way." Gabi walked away from the girl before she had the chance to open her mouth.

As Gabi was walking to the classroom he saw Makima and Yu walking in the same direction. "Hmm? Are they coming along with this same mission Mei Mei spoke of?" he mumbled to himself.

Yu and Makima eventually caught up to Gabimaru and they all headed to the classroom. " Yo Gabi what do you think this mission is about since they call us along with Gojo and Shoko."

(Even Gojo coming? This must be serious then.)

" What about Geto? Where is he? I haven't seen him in a while. "Gabi asked the two a question but since Makima was not paying them any mind Yu answered. " He's on a solo mission and he's been acting weird lately. He's not as talkative as before."

( I figured but I don't know what Yu was talking about because before he was not as talkative himself but I guess he's back to his old self.)

Yu put his two fists in the air, " I can't wait to fight. I hope Gojo would let me have some of the action too because I want to kick some curses ass."

( Yeah he's definitely back to normal. Yu loves fighting. )

Once the three arrived at the classroom they already saw Gojo and Shoko there sitting on the chairs waiting for them. Gabi was skipping towards Shoko raising her textbook above his head " I got something that you want but too bad you are not getting it." He stuck his tongue out at the girl. Shoko got up from the chair and jumped to reach the book that was in the air. She was struggling to get it because Gabi was eight inches taller than the girl.

( She's too adorable.)

As the two were in their own world, Makima was at the far right of the room by the entrance door, eyeing them from the corner of her eyes. While Yu was speaking to Gojo begging Gojo to let him fight alongside him. Soon the chaos in the room died down as soon as Sensei Yaga came in.

" Okay everyone is here. Let's cut to the main objective. In the private boarding all-girls school, there have been numerous reports claiming that students and staff are going missing. We sent the managers there to examine it and they claimed that there are definitely curses involved but they don't know how many or what grade it is. That's why all of you will be going to check it out. Since people are missing they are probably hurt or dead already so Shoko you will be handling the injury while everyone else will be finding out the curses who are responsible for this disaster." Sensei Yaga explained and gave orders to the students." Everyone is dismissed already so nobody should be at the school besides the curse and Gojo make sure you use a veil so no outsider will see what's going on."

" Yeah old man I got it," Gojo said.

Gabi put his arm around Shoko's shoulders. " I see you will be the MVP on this mission. I believe you can do anything Shoko." he smiled at her.

" Let's hurry this up so I can continue what I was doing earlier," Makima said as she left the classroom.

" What was that? Training so mommy Saito won't be mad." Gojo pokes fun at the girl.

"I will make sure I will help the curse to get rid of you Gojo." She responds back and keeps walking.

( I guess she's not in a good mood.)

Gabi pov

The group arrives at the boarding school and enters the quiet, hot building.

" Oh god! Why does it feel like a sauna in here." Gabi said out loud.

" Take off the big sweater you have on." Shoko gave him a suggestion.

" Nope. I don't have a shirt underneath," He replies back.

Gojo was behind them and went in the middle between them wrapping his arms around their shoulders " I see you guys are flirting, " he was wiggling his eyebrows.

( Ugh! Gojo always doing the most.)

Gabi shrugs Gojo's arm off. " Nobody flirting idiot,"

" Um, guys… Makima went ahead already. " Yu told the three who were lagging behind.

The four were walking ahead trying to find her. " I don't know what's up with Makima. This past week she's been more brutal than before." Yu said.

"Really? She is always brutal to me." Gojo replies back.

" Because she doesn't like you," Shoko informed Gojo.

Gojo scratched his head thinking why she disliked him so much, " I don't know why."

( I wonder if Gojo is really my twin brother.)

The four kept walking and it felt like they were not covering any ground so they decided to split up. Yu and Gojo were on the first floor and going to the basement while Shoko and Gabi decided to take the higher levels.

When they were on the fifth floor they still hadn't found anything or anyone, " Is it me or it's getting really hot in this building." Gabi complained while creating a small wind by shaking his sweater.

Heavy sweat was running down Shoko's face, " I feel it too."

Gabimaru took his sweater off because he couldn't stand the heat anymore and Shoko saw how the heavy sweat was sliding down on his hard rock abs and her mind started to blank out.

" Shoko let's get inside the room and raise the window to feel some air."

Shoko nodded her head because she was too lazy to open her mouth. As the two went inside the classroom Gabi imminently went to the window and was trying to lift it. As he was struggling to lift the window he noticed that it won't budge open.

( Huh? Why is it not lifting? It feels like someone super glued this window shut.)

Shoko was leaning her lower body on the table to relax but then she could see Gabi struggling with the window, " Gabi. What's taking so long ?"

Gabi gave up on the window and faced the girl, " It won't open."

Shoko sighed at the boy and went to the window, " You are supposed to have crazy strength and you cannot open a window. Wow, how manly." She playfully rolled her eyes and tried to open it and then she realized that Gabi was right. The window would not open.

" That's strange, " She voices her inner thoughts out loud.

Gabi stood there next to her with a ' no really' face " I Thought so Shoko,"

When Shoko turned around to face Gabi she recognized that the room they were in changed into a gymnasium, confusion took over her face not understanding what was happening.

"Shoko, what's wrong? "Gabi asked and Shoko pointed behind him to show him what he was missing out on. When he turned around he joined with Shoko in being confused about how they ended up in the gym.

(When did this happen?)

Gabi took small steps in the middle of the gym and observed the whole area to make sure he saw something but nothing came into his sights.

" This must be the curse abilities and to do something like this is a grade 1 and higher," Shoko said.

" Yea…"

The temperature was going up and as the second passed, the hotter it was. Gabi tried to look for the exit but there was none. They were both trapped in a huge gym that felt like a heater.

" Die you humans," A voice suddenly came out of nowhere.

( It's finally showing itself.)

" It's kind of not fair to not show yourself. I mean if you really want to kill us you have to make a better effort." Gabi trying to tempt the curse.

( We need to get out of here before the heat cooks us alive. When I kill him his abilities will end this.)

And it worked because a huge curse that's like 20 feet tall came in beating its chest like a gorilla and every time the curse beat its chest chunks of lava pieces came out his body and when it fell on the ground it melted through the ground.

( Yeah....We are screwed.)

" HUMANS!" it roars.
