Ch 10: Training With Toji

"That's a good toy you got Kiddo"

Toji entered the grounds, walking casually wearing his usual black t-shirt.

Tenshi controlled Quick Silver back into his hands.

"I heard that you wanted to learn from me?"

"Yes"

"What do you want to learn from someone like me?"

"My cursed technique is not offensive, it would be better for me to learn fighting skills and who could be better for it than the Sorcerer Killer"

Toji chuckled at his statement.

He didn't ask what his cursed technique was nor did he care.

"You care so much about being strong that you can take out millions per month?"

"Weak cannot survive in this world, they would die without even knowing why"

"True"

"What's with your eyes, you look like a ghost"

Toji said and acted scared but in reality, he had seen much more gross things.

"My eyes have been like this since I was born"

"Is that so? What do you want to learn then?"

"Will you follow me first?"

He said as he used Mephista to open up the door.

"Oh? It's a good trick"

Toji looked at the door and was confused for a second.

He vomited out his inventory curse and held the 'Inverted Spear of Heaven'.

"Is that the famous special grade that can slash through any technique?"

"Yeah"

'Just in case, if this is a Domain' Toji thought.

He saw Tenshi walking in and followed.

He was surprised to see that the door was unaffected by his cursed tool.

'It's not a cursed technique'

He entered and was surprised to see a different world.

There was a sun hanging in the sky, a barren land and all kinds of weapons piled on one side.

"Some cool tricks you got there Kiddo"

"Thanks"

Toji had heard about this kid having a special eye just like the kid from the Gojo clan so he wasn't much surprised.

"I will leave my training to you"

"Then let's start with the basics"

Toji shot himself towards Tenshi.

Tenshi also opened his Rinne-Sharingan and turned, barely avoiding him.

"Very well, now take this"

A spear appeared in his hands.

He threw it at Tenshi.

Tenshi couldn't dodge that so he used the Quick Silver to block it.

Dang

A metallic sound was emitted as the spear and Quick Silver clashed, he called it back, ready for another attack.

Toji didn't stop and came for another attack.

Boom

Toji blasted the ground, splashing dust and stones all around.

Tenshi, who flew sideways to dodge Toji, looked at the crater formed and swallowed.

"Toji I hired you to teach me, I promise you won't get a penny if I die"

"Don't worry I will make sure you won't die"

"Tsk"

He saw the kid flying around and was surprised but he guessed that this was the reason the kid chose the place to fight.

He took out another blade from his cursed spirit and held it.

"Go and get yourself one"

Tenshi flew and also picked up a katana.

"You rely too much on your eyes kid, try using the other senses"

"Eyes…"

Tenshi had a contemplating look on his face but Toji didn't give him any time to do so.

Clang

The swords clashed and Tenshi was thrown away.

Tenshi stabilised himself and started to dodge, he would clash sometimes when he felt he could take it.

"Listen to your surroundings"

Tenshi blocked the incoming spear with his Quick Silver.

"Listen to the souls"

Toji once again blasted towards Tenshi.

The fight went on for half a day since the time flow here is twice the real world, which means that six hours passed in the real world.

It is a good way to exercise but it also means that you are ageing sooner, though slowly.

"You got a good ability kid"

"Thanks"

Tenshi said lying on the ground, he was f-cking tired.

"Call me when you heal up and also try to kill some curses"

"Curses?"

"Hmm, you would have a room in your clan filled with curses, right?"

"Did you also train like that?"

Toji paused for a moment and replied

"I was thrown into it"

Tenshi remembered that this guy wasn't treated well in his clan but he didn't give a big reaction.

"Then I will go"

"Bye Sensei"

Toji waved his hand and left.

Shoko was healing Tenshi, looking at him worriedly.

"Did you really get them during your training?"

"Yes"

"Alas, it would be better if you just listened to your Grandpa"

"Naa, that guy can't think right, he is already old"

"You should respect the elders Tenshi"

"Hmm…Hmm"

"Let's skip your Cursed Energy Training today"

"Thank you Shoko san, also, is there any place in our family that is filled with curses"

"You mean the Punishment hall?"

"Is it called the punishment hall"

"Yes, the Utlap Branch puts the failed Curses there, since they are of no use.

They are kept in there to punish family members who break the rules but it is rarely used"

"I wanted to go in there and get some experience in exorcising curses"

"Hmm, you can just ask Seiko san to lead you there tomorrow after all you are the patriarch, she cannot refuse you"

"Okay"

Tenshi lay on the bed, thinking about what Toji said.

'How to use the other senses'

It may be possible to hear the enemy attacks but that doesn't matter to him since his eye is much superior to his other senses.

Since he can just see the enemy coming, why bother to hear him?

It seems that he has to find that out on his own.

He saw that Shoko was already asleep, she might be tired from her work today.

'It is very tiring to be a healer'

He thought before going to sleep.
