Ren headed back to the dojo after a long morning reviewing the missions he had delegated. He didn't mind the administrative work, but training was always more satisfying. After a few hours of intense practice with his cursed tool, he stopped for a moment and saw one of the mirrors in the dojo.
Without much thought, he decided to walk over and look at his reflection: his perfectly coiffed black hair, the athletic build he had gained from training, and the defined features that might have made him a model in his past life. He smiled before stepping back. There was work to be done.
Instead of continuing to train, he decided to review the rewards he had earned from the other day. It had been a good idea to send several teams to accomplish tasks simultaneously, especially the gathering missions that could be repeated.

After doing the math, he smiled. He had gathered a total of 1,200 CP, along with various tools and enhancements. "Not bad" he muttered to himself, satisfied with the result.
With a grin, he put everything away in his inventory and prepared to continue training. He needed to release some cursed energy he'd been getting and nothing was better than smashing a few training dummies.
The combat dummies in the dojo were reinforced with cursed seals to resist powerful blows, but he is currently on another level. He positioned himself in the center, activating his cursed Technique. As he raised a hand, an intense gravitational pressure surged around him.
With a grabbing motion, the dummies began to compress under the invisible pressure of gravity until they were reduced to splinters. Two other mannequins tried to resist, but it wasn't enough; Ren lifted them into the air with a reverse gravitational field, before dropping them violently against the ground, disintegrating them in the process.
"Too easy," he muttered as he looked at the remains of the dummies. He was quite surprised as he had barely used a fraction of his power.
Just then, Riko entered the dojo, stopping halfway as she saw the destruction.
"Ren, did you have to smash all the dummies when you train?" she said, crossing her arms and trying not to smile.
Ren shrugged his shoulders feigning arrogance "Well, if they gave me better dummies, maybe they would last more than five minutes."
Riko let out a laugh. "Dream on, Ren. Though I admit you're getting stronger."
Ren feigned surprise and put a hand to his chest. "Flattery from the great Riko Kurogane? I really must be dreaming."
Riko rolled her eyes, but still with a smile. "Don't get used to it. Just don't destroy the dojo, okay?"
"Okay."
With a nod, Riko left, and Ren decided he had trained enough for today. He left the dojo and headed towards his room to rest.
Once settled, he opened the system to check his points and rewards. He was thinking of spending some of his CP on a new advanced skill. As he reviewed the options, something in particular caught his attention, something he didn't remember seeing before.
His eyes narrowed with curiosity.
"What is this...?"
