Q.3. What are Mana Containers?

= Mana is everywhere; in creatures, plants, the air, the water, etc. Creatures capable of utilizing Mana store the energy in Mana Containers, a storage system within the body. If the containers is completely empty, the body will then slowly replenish itself by absorbing Mana from the air (or water). The Mana Container is like a muscle, and therefore, should be exercised like one. Reckless treatment of the Container can result in the user permanently damaging their Container and their ability to perform Magic at all.

( Neon's Pov)

" You said that the penalty for failing in the trial will result in death but I didn't hear about anyone dying in the news."

" That was merely for encouragement, I don't want to loose capable fighters so why would I kill them."(Terra)

".....ok"

' No one in their right mind will fight that mutated wolf unless their life is on the line. Let's focus on training, no use in thinking useless things.'

" Any more questions.?"(Terra)

" No."

" You will be teleported out after you complete your training and just so you know if you fail to complete the training schedule then I will choose another candidate." Terra said coldly.

Gulp...

' If she chooses another candidate then I will be thrown out, which means my fate will be in the hands of others. No! I don't want that, never.'

' let's start training immediately.'

Now that I take a closer look at the training field, it's no different from my collage training grounds except some new gym equipments. A rectangular running field with obstacles and training equipments in the middle area. Running track seems to be at least 3 km. long. Other than training field other area seems blurred, must be restricted area. Oh! there seem to be a closet and a bathroom too, everything seems well prepared.

Changing my casual clothes to sports wear I started running with clear and determined mind.

( Rudra's Pov)

On a black rocky mountain, a boy ran at full speed chased by red coloured wolf while occasionally complaining to a misty figure floating in the sky.

" Fuck fuck fuck, why the hell is this wolf attacking me like I slept with his mother. Hufff.... huff..... oh! sorry I mean to say killed your mother. I am not into that kinda of play"

' I thought first day training will be like some physical exercise and stuff like that. Why the hell do I have to fight this wolf again?. Aren't mutated wolf stupid, just like in the trial?'

" I have seen you fight in the trial, honestly speaking, it was really pathetic." Terra said while controlling her 'Audible' laugh which was pretty annoying.

" The mutated wolf didn't attack you at first because I was the one controlling it. It was all an illusion. I just had to do some minor things." Terra said while still trying to control her laughter which was getting uncontrollable.

Finally she couldn't hold it in and started laughing, seriously just shut up.

" Giggle... giggle... huff.... huff.. this was the first time I ever laughed this much. Seriously, your hilarious. Huff.... I never thought you like that kinda play" Terra said while huffing.

" NO I AM NOT AND SHUT UP, WILL YA" I said angrily.

' She is realllly getting on my nerves now.'

After laughing to her hearts content Terra started explaining...

" You lack combat skills, your body is weak, you have no real fighting experience, I have seen your past, you never fought with anyone except that one time. So I came up with this method. I am genius aren't I?." Terra said.

" Past is past now I don't think much about it. But will this method even work. Huff.... huff... being chased down by a giant wolf on a rocky mountain and huff....huff.... the worst thing is he doesn't even get hurt because of its tough skin. I am just running for my life nothing else. Huff... huff... how the hell does it look like a training method to you?."

" I made the wolf little stronger than last time, you should try fighting it." Terra said with an amused tone

" Little stronger, that wolf is at least 5 times bigger than in the trial" I complained.

" Just think of it as running exercise, don't think about the wolf. It will help." Terra said while grinning.

" Youuu!"

' Damn, she seems to be enjoying it.'

" Stop annoying me and go train others." I said angrily.

" Ok ok I will go" Terra said while giggling.

' Seriously, does she enjoy my suffering that much?'
