Chapter 9

Even with Itachi unconscious the stars continued to enter his body, soon all the stars that were in the darkness entered Itachi's body and space again returned to its usual darkness.

Itachi's body was going through huge changes right now, from the quality of the profound energy in his body, to the profound veins, profound entrances, bones, and soul. Everything was undergoing a huge change.

Itachi's virtually non-existent cultivation was no longer present, it was as if the stars had used all of Itachi's profound energy to help them reform Itachi's body.

The process was not painful in the least, quite the contrary, even while unconscious Itachi still felt a kind of pleasure going through his entire body.

After all this process was over, a small mark appeared on Itachi's forehead, as if to show other people his greatness. The mark was not that big, but the moment you looked at Itachi's face you would spot it.

The mark on his forehead had the appearance of a phoenix and a dragon opposing each other, but if you looked more precisely it was as if they were embracing. Slowly this small mark disappeared, as if it was not satisfied with its small size on Itachi's forehead.

Soon the mark disappeared from Itachi's forehead and reappeared on his left arm, but this time it was in the form of a black tattoo, which emitted a golden glow. The golden glow seemed to increase more and more, as if the mark was satisfied with this location.

The tattoo covered Itachi's entire left forearm, anyone looking at this tattoo would find it beautiful, a dragon and a phoenix opposing each other. But the same people who would find the tattoo beautiful would have the feeling that something was missing, but these people would not be able to tell what was missing.

Itachi slowly regained consciousness, but this time he was no longer in dark space but back in the bed of the hotel room he had rented for a few days.

"Was that a dream?" Itachi thought as he lifted the left sleeve of his shirt to check for a tattoo on his forearm.

"Then it wasn't a dream... But what actually happened?"

As he lifted the sleeve of his blouse, he saw the Dragon and Phoenix tattoo which showed that what he had experienced was not a dream, but reality. But this only made him have dozens of doubts in his mind, but he knew that no one could answer these doubts of his.

Even though he had lost consciousness, he still obtained the memories of what had happened to his body, and that was the reason he knew about the tattoo on his forearm. In addition, he also knew that he had lost all his cultivation.

"Maybe I shouldn't call it a loss, the profound energy I absorb seems much more pure and refined." Itachi thought.

The Profound Energy entering his body no longer contained any impurities and was absorbed in its purest form, something that was practically impossible to do on a small planet like this.

Itachi also noticed huge improvements in his body, he felt that even without his cultivation, he could easily handle cultivators from the Profound Elemental Realm, this just by using his physical body alone.

"But it seems that it will take me longer than usual to advance in my cultivation... At least I will be stronger than my peers at the same cultivation level." Itachi thought.

He didn't think that would be bad. His current state allowed him to jump over cultivation levels making it possible for him to fight against those of higher cultivation. That was something every cultivator in the world longed for.

"That doesn't seem to be the only benefits I've received..."

Itachi felt something resting next to his soul, he didn't know what it was, and couldn't even look at what was next to his soul. When he tried to peek he felt a huge force of repulsion pushing him out, causing him to only be able to sigh. He decided to try again when it was stronger.

"At least it doesn't seem like it will hurt me..." He realized that due to this 'thing' resting next to his soul. He automatically had an endless supply that slowly strengthened his soul without him having to worry about side effects.

Other information also ran through Itachi's mind, he discovered that the stars and that dark space were not just for show, in fact, it was all part of an inheritance that he received. This inheritance has not one creator, but billions of creators.

Only one person at a time can possess this inheritance, and every time the bearer of this inheritance dies, part of his strength and soul becomes a star and the other is sent to the cycle of reincarnation. Also, it seems that the inheritance chooses its possessor billions of years before, which is terrifying if you stop to think about it.

Also, Itachi discovered that there were several uses for this inheritance, but currently he cannot enjoy many things. Currently he can only use two functions of the inheritance.

The first would be the dark space that can actually be used to build a world inside his body, this world would have its own life that could slowly develop to the point where it would become an actual civilization. And Itachi as its center, would be like the God of this world that could easily control the life of the beings born within this space.

The second function is the soul contract that currently could only be used once. This contract would bind Itachi's life to another being. There were no disadvantages to Itachi and only benefits, but the one who signed the soul contract with Itachi would have a huge disadvantage, which would be, once Itachi dies that being would also die. The advantage is that the being would share the same talent as Itachi, and as long as Itachi did not die this being could live forever.

There were other benefits to this soul contract, but Itachi couldn't figure out what it was, maybe it wouldn't be possible to find out until he made one.

"This second function is useless to me currently, I don't think Chu Yuechan will let me make a contract with Little White." Itachi thought as he shook his head.

"There seems to be more to this inheritance, but for some reason, I can't figure it out, it's like there are seals preventing me from finding out more about the inheritance... Maybe when I'm strong enough that knowledge will appear naturally." At the end of his thoughts Itachi came to this conclusion.

With the end of his thoughts Itachi got up from his bed and headed towards the forest again, but this time he would go into the forest to cultivate the world within his body, he was curious to know what would happen to him when the world was formed.

Little did Itachi know that he would meet a person in the forest that would change him in the future, whether this was for good or bad was not possible to tell yet.
