Chapter 5

Chu Yueli dragged Itachi out of the sect, and soon they both set off on a journey that Itachi didn't know what to do with. He was curious to know more about this world to which he was reincarnated, but at the same time he felt that he was not strong enough to go out alone and explore the surroundings.

Before he was dragged out of the sect, he went to meet his mother, and said goodbye to her, it was a funny scene for someone like Itachi, as his mother hugged him for a few long minutes before finally letting him go, but not before handing him several treasures, in which he kept in a storage ring.

Itachi had to admit, this warmth he was receiving from his new 'mother' was very nice, and even if he didn't want to admit it, he was starting to like it. Besides, he always told himself not to disappoint this woman who gave him so much affection.

In the last year he has indeed withdrawn a little more from the people around him, but he believes that this was for a good reason. After all, he became very focused on strengthening his cultivation so that he wouldn't have to depend on other people to survive in this world.

And even though his cultivation is not that out of the ordinary, he still thinks that it is a decent progress and that few people at his age could achieve the same results.

Chu Yueli after dragging Itachi to the sect gate stopped for a few seconds before turning back and only returning a few minutes later next to a huge snow-white colored bird.

The bird was over ten meters tall and its entire body was snow white. Its body features looked similar to those of a hawk, but were even more robust, powerful and imposing. Its head was similar to a hawk's, but was much more noble and elevated. Its claws were like hooks, and its eyes gave the impression of cold blades. It had a great majestic aura, and its speed was even greater, like lightning.

That bird is a profound beast that is situated in the Profound Sky Realm, a cultivation far removed from Itachi's. The bird walked beside Chu Yueli with a noble and also arrogant expression, as if few people were a match for it.

But that posture of the bird changed unexpectedly, the moment the bird spotted Itachi it flew quickly towards him and when it was about to collide with Itachi the bird flew even higher in the air and stopped majestically in front of him.

Itachi looked at this scene with an amused look as he reached out his hands to caress the bird in front of him. He knew exactly who this bird belonged to.

Chu Yuechan, the leader of the seven fairies, and also his powerful 'older sister'.

But he had to admit, even he didn't expect that she would allow Little White to accompany him on this little adventure with Chu Yueli. But after thinking about it for a while, he thought it was as expected from someone like her.

Itachi remembered that when he was still a baby, Chu Yuechan helped his mother take care of him, and even though she didn't know much about raising a baby she still tried her best, after all she had a little experience in taking care of people a little younger than her.

"It's been a while, Little White." Little Itachi said with a smile on his face as he stroked the soft fur of this Snow Phoenix Profound Beast.

Chu Yueli had no reaction at all to seeing Little White being so affectionate towards Itachi. She even thought that if Little White had to choose who would be her partner, without a doubt the profound beast would choose Itachi. She remembers when the only two year old Itachi found this profound beast resting in a secluded corner of the sect.

Itachi without anyone knowing approached the profound beast and began to caress it while saying a few words, only to lay down on the profound beast's belly and fall asleep himself after a few moments. Chu Yueli remembers Gong Yuxian searching for her son only to discover that he was sleeping with a Profound Sky Realm Profound Beast. And the funniest thing about it, was that the Profound Beast didn't seem to mind Itachi's presence.

This caused a commotion in the sect, and all the disciples went in the secluded area of the sect just to see a little two year old boy sleeping next to a profound beast that could very well, kill most of the disciples.

"So where are we going?" Itachi asked as he turned to face Chu Yueli.

"I need to go in some small towns to find new sisters for the sect, besides, there is a group of mercenaries causing trouble in a certain location, so I have been assigned to clean them up." Chu Yueli said calmly.

Itachi nodded, he already expected that it would be something like recruiting new female disciples. One must know that the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace has the lowest number of disciples among the Four Great Sects, but even with the lowest number this sect still manages to stay in the top 2 with a certain ease. Even many people admit that if this sect had the same number as the number one sect, then it would probably become the strongest by far.

He ignored the part about eliminating mercenaries, because he thought that was an easy task to accomplish for someone like Chu Yueli who was in the Heaven Profound Realm.

"Since you already know where we will be going, then let's not waste any more time." Chu Yueli said as she approached Little White to mount her.

Itachi nodded and also mounted Little White who seemed to have been happier to see Itachi using her as a mount.

"I hope this world is as big as said in the books I read." Itachi thought as he looked at the horizon in front of him.
