Shrek Academy part 4

The next morning, after JoyBoy finished his cultivation and got up from his sitting position, he first stretched his body and then checked his room. Ten persons who looked like him were cultivating in his room. Seeing this put a smile on his face.

He released his four spirit rings which were black in colour indicating that all of them were atleast ten thousand years in age. When he checked their age, he realized that they were fourteen thousand years old.

He checked their abilities while smiling

1st spirit ring : Strength Amplification upto fourteen thousand times

2nd spirit ring : Agility Amplification upto fourteen thousand times

3rd spirit ring : Endurance Amplification upto fourteen thousand times

4th spirit ring : Multiple Shadow clone technique

He had decided on his fourth spirit ring ability after careful consideration about what will soon happen in the future. He knew that his normal cultivation speed was not good enough considering the tight schedule he will be facing.

He wasn't worried about the main antagonists of the novel as they were only ten ring soul master. He is sure that even as a four ring spirit ancestor with his current abilities, he can defeat them in one on one battle. What he is worried about are the ones whose position they are suppose to inherit. Especially, the God king level characters from the novel, he doesn't trust their character.

Of course everything will change once he reaches spirit sage level and get his seventh ring. Only starting at that stage will he be able to start using Power Gem to its true potential.

He chose the multiple shadow clone ability from Naruto anime because the clones can help him cultivate much faster as the energy they absorb from surroundings or in his case the Power Gem will be transferred to his main body once they disappear.

He started with ten shadow clones because he wasn't sure if the side effects of the technique will have a negative effect on him even though he had infinite energy and stamina and also because his room was not big enough for more clones. Just ten clones had already filled the room.

He once again sat down on his body, calmed his mind and undid a single clone. The moment his clone disappear, all the spirit power it cultivated was instantly transferred to him. Since, spirit power was cultivated by his clone, it was perfectly compatible with him and was easily absorbed by him further increasing his cultivation a little.

He analyzed the whole process and noticed that at present he can easily absorb spirit energy from five clones who cultivated for an entire day. Once he knew that, he quickly undid his remaining clones and absorb spirit energy they cultivated from them. After that, he summoned ten more shadow clones to cultivate in his room and went outside to do his daily workouts.

After finishing his daily workouts, he returned to his room and clean himself. By the time he was done, he heard a dang dang dang sound from outside. Hearing this sound, he knew that this must be the academy's way of telling the students that their classes were starting. He wondered if anyone would come to his room to show him his class.

He went out of his room and waited in front of his door. After some time, he saw Dai Mubai followed by Zhuqing coming towards his room.

Seeing JoyBoy waiting in front of his room, Dai Mubai asked him to follow and together they went to the big grounds. There JoyBoy saw the rest of the students including Ma Hongjun, and Oscar who had now shaved his beard.

While others spoke, a middle aged man walked out on the grounds from another direction.

He looked to be around fifty year's old, built thick and strong, face characteristically long, chin somewhat prominent, cheek bones very wide, flat face, furthermore a bit aquiline nose, if insisting on using some kind of thing to describe him, then, only could say his face somewhat resembled the sole of a shoe. Although his eyes were closed, he seemed to have a bit crafty feeling. On his face he wore a pair of black rimmed crystal glasses, the frames a kind of rigid squares.

Oscar introduced him as Dean Flender. After Dean came near them, he introduced himself and asked them to pay one hundred gold coins to a in charge of finances and asked Dai Mubai to introduce everyone to the academy rules.

He told everyone except Oscar and Rongrong to go back after that and recover by nightfall, as that was the time for their class. Hearing him, JoyBoy directly left even before anyone could turn their head including Zhuqing.

At nightfall, Shrek Academy's dean, Four Eyed Owl Flender stood on the large grounds, looking at all eight students before him.

He asked Oscar whether they both finished the task given by him to which he lied. He sealed Oscar's spirit power which surprised JoyBoy and asked him to do finish running 20 laps which Oscar immediately started doing without asking any questions. The scene with Rongrong went just like JoyBoy remember from the novel.

After explaining himself to other students he asked everyone to follow him and started advancing towards outside the academy while observing everyone. He noticed that JoyBoy was easily able to keep up with him. Behind him was Dai Mubai followed by Zhuqing followed by Tang San and Xiao Wu who were closely followed by Ma Hongjun at last position.

They all followed him to Suotuo city where he suddenly stopped walking and looked at the sky.

"There still is some time. Follow me."

Speaking, Flender brought the six to enter an unremarkable tea shop on the side of the street. The seven sat down around a round table and Flender asked for seven cups of their cheapest tea. JoyBoy told him that he wont have anything to which he looked happy and asked for six cups of their cheapest tea and explained their assignments.
