John's body was made into an undead after death and after being refined and enhanced went through tremendous jumps of power. The undead John took the swords and used them as weapons. John smiles and gets out of the armour than says "Great a worthy challenge to fight this old man" John allows his counterpart to relentlessly slash at him with the swords using them to improve his resistance to weapons physical damage and everything else. Eventually John reached a level where even this was absolutely nothing to him so he equipped the armour and used it to beat down his undead counterart and end him. John uses his past body as a energy source as well as a test subject to test necromancy John eventually became an exceptionally gifted necromancer and was than evolved to unrivaled necromancer than to monsterish level necromancer he could create an entire army of undead minions with a flick of his wrist except that would exhaust half of his energy and maintaining that army of undead was basically impossible with his current self John than practiced until he could create an army of undead instantly without consuming so much energy at first each time would greatly improve his energy supply and energy recovery overtime he could do it without exhausting himself but he kept going eventually his energy was taking less than 1% decrease but he kept going afterwards he used summoning training until it was at the same result than the enslavements he than learned shadow magic and shadow manipulation becoming a master of shadows he was a true master a monster with no equal.
