Threat
Chris couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this situation than met the eye. He felt this was more than just the fact that he had hit Ash. Why was Ashley so fixated on him and Sky?
And no, this had nothing to do with the fact that Sky was engaged to his sister. He wondered if there was some hidden motive behind Ashley's actions. Perhaps... he was secretly in love with Sky?
"Was it you?" Chris asked after a while. "The Stalker?" Chris's voice trembled with a mixture of anger and confusion as he held Ashley pinned against the wall. Ashley's eyes glittered with amusement, his arrogant smile still in place, as if he were revelling in Chris's turmoil. "Stalker? What Stalker?"
"The crazy bastard that's been stalking me. Is it you?" His voice was icy. So was the look in his eyes.
"Oh, that's adorable, Chris. You think I would stoop to such a level?"
