The Quarrel

In the hushed darkness of the room, Chris emerged from the bathroom, the faint glow of the nightlight barely illuminating his path. His eyes settled on the bed, where the devil lay in peaceful slumber, the rhythmic rise and fall of his chest a soothing backdrop. Chris felt a flutter of contentment at the sight, appreciating the serenity that often eluded his hectic life.

Chris has spent quite a long time inside the bathroom, not only because he had to dry his hair but also for a very obvious reason. After getting teased like that, there was no way he could have easily stepped out, acting like nothing happened.

He remained in there, trying to relieve himself with his hands. One hand was unseen while the other hand caressed his body, his eyes closed and his head falling back against the edge of the tub.

The thought of Sky walking in to find him in that position made him both weary and excited, keeping him on the edge.
