JI MIN : THE OMNI-BEING

Back when fishes soared through the heavens, tigers laid eggs, trees prophesied, and chickens twerked; the destiny of all creation rested on the shoulders of a young boy, named; Ji Min! Our MC had been chosen by prophecy to become the Omni-Being; a peerless existence who was not only omnipotent but omnipresent and omniscient as well. As the forgotten cornerstone of the very foundation upon which all creation was laid, our MC was able to meet the requirements to be chosen as the herald of the forgotten True Spirit. But as fate would have it, our MC ended up transmigrating into the body of a little kid who had a soup of chronic diseases. So, in a world where the strong ate the weak, drank their blood, and picked their teeth with their victims’ bones, what would become of our dying MC? How will he survive in a world where Qilins are treated as pets and Dragons are made to play catch? A world where overlords grill their meat with tribulation lightning and drink lava?

Are You Thinking What I’m Thinking?

Lastly; the area was teeming with all sorts of unique beasts; from the ones the size of a finger, with venoms that could melt a Qi Sea Stage cultivator, to others that were so huge they could gulp a wrecking ball with no added effort; at least, that was based on what they've seen so far.

They had come across a 7 Star Qi Sea Stage Shadow Blood Bat earlier; a beast of unfathomable ugliness and savagery, with a level of bloodthirst that was so tangible they could almost taste it; and it tasted like death; one the duo didn't savor one bit.

Ji Tang looked behind and nodded in contentment; whilst Ji Qing was lagging behind, he noticed his grandson was moving at a distance that ensured he could cover up or assist her, should she run into trouble.

'Good; it seems Min'er has matured a lot after all the tribulations he had gone through recently.'

He thought to himself as he gradually began to release his aura, and whilst the two younglings couldn't feel it, the beast chasing them could and it began to decrease its pace till it vanished from sight.

Ji Min on the other hand could feel his body begin to move sluggishly; he was physically getting exhausted, but mentally, he was still as sharp as ever.

He was mentally in a realm that surpassed his peers and was even approaching the level of his grandfather if not more already.

Though this level of training was nothing to him, his strong mental fortitude still couldn't shake off the terror it was getting at the sight of the several beasts with horrendous appearances and vile inclinations it had registered, and everything was starting to get to him.

In fact, the current Ji Min would rather face a thousand guns and hundreds of bazookas than have the threat of a savage beast looming over him.

He also noticed that his mind was being crippled by fear and it was exhausting him quicker than he preferred, Ji Min began to calm his breathing whilst also regulating his pace to find a perfect synchronization between his body and mind.

'Truly commendable, such mental speed and awareness…' Sensei thought to himself.

'Doesn't he get tired?!' Ji Qing mused as she panted for the tiniest extra air she could get.

Though Ji Min was being weighed down by the effects of the mysterious chains he had wrapped around his limbs, Sensei had advised him that he take his training seriously and try to build up his stamina and strength to a level that matched his mental power.

But during this marathon, Ji Min and Ji Qing failed to consider that the air in the area was getting thinner the deeper they went into the mountain range.

Furthermore, if one factored in the natural loss of energy that came with them running up and down the several hills and knee-deep streams within the valleys, at top speed, then one could imagine how faint they're feeling at the moment.

The light in the area got dimmer and the air got even thinner, as the sound of rustling leaves and low growls began to echo past the kids; and the deeper they went, the louder these growls and rustling got.

Several figures began to tear through the dense forest, converging towards the source of the foreign smell they were perceiving; one that was so delectable that they were barging into themselves and crashing into anything that stood in their path.

"Now that I have cranked up the difficulty a bit, let's see how you fare when pushed to your limits." Ji Tang mumbled to himself as he continued to pour out a liquid out of a bottle in his grasp.

"The urine of the Spineless Skunk might not be enticing enough to attract Mid or Late Qi Sea Stage beasts, but it is irresistible to beasts below the 3 Star Qi Sea stage." Ji Tang continued as he bolted toward the massive mountain ahead.

~Sniff-Sniff Sniff!~

~A-chum!~

Ji Min sneezed the living daylight out of himself.

[Eh? Young Lord, I think there's something in the air around here.] Sensei warned after doing a quick scan of Ji Min's body system.

It was impossible for a Lord Stage expert to catch a cold; at least, a natural cold, thus, the only thing he could deduce is that the source of Ji Min's irritation was the air he was breathing.

[No shit Sherlock; it smells like someone is taking a dump on-the-go out here.] Ji Min replied sarcastically.

He had obviously noticed something wrong with the air in the area, and the strange smell he was getting was somewhat undetectable initially, but after having that brain-rebooting sneeze, he was able to confirm his suspicion.

But despite that, no matter how much he scrutinize his surroundings, he couldn't seem to find the source or cause of the strange smell, and not only was it gradually slowing his thinking speed, but it has also begun to blur his vision; it was like he was about to start hallucinating.

What he didn't know was that the moment the Spineless Skunk's urine pours out of the bottle, the resultant force of Ji Tang's speed blasts the liquids into microscopic particles that can barely be detectable by anything other than spiritual sense; unluckily, this was one thing they were yet to awaken.

A small serpent beast the size of an adult's belt tore through a bush and lunged towards Ji Min with ferocious speed and envenomed fangs.

Going down on his knees, Ji Min skidded onwards, causing the serpent to miss him by a hair's breadth, but just as he thought he was out of trouble, another serpent head appeared within his sight catching him totally off-guard.

Ji Min's reflexes came into play as he quickly raised his chained arms to guard his head, but the serpent head latched onto his chest instead, pumping him full of its venom.

Ji Min looked at the serpent head and saw that it belonged to the same serpent he thought he had evaded earlier; apparently, the serpent had two heads, and the one attached to where its tail was supposed to be, was the one pumping him full of venom.

Ji Min felt a little numb around the area he had been bitten, and the moment the venom entered his bloodstream, it hurt for a moment, as he could sense a sharp pain coursing through his senses.

But in the next moment, a deep sensation of refreshment and euphoria erupted from the depths of Ji Min's body, spreading across every inch of his body, causing him to subconsciously release a pleasurable moan;

~Ah~

Ji Min sighed in pleasure as he looked down at the serpent still attached to his chest;

[Sensei?]

[I'm just as surprised as you are, Young Lord.]

Sensei answered as Ji Min's face beamed with a smile, asking;

[Are you thinking what I'm thinking?]
