Blood Lust

Ryanne was so lost in the taste of the blood that even he didn't notice when Rose got so close to Jayden.

While Jayden watched Ryanne turning back to normal just by drinking the half glass, he decided to wash his wound, he could get healed any second now, but as soon as he turned around just to find Rose's face an inch away from his, he realized that she wasn't acting normal.

She took one step back and stared at his hand, as she looked at him he could see her eyes glowing red.

Ryanne finally stood up to talk to her "Rose we just fed you a few minutes ago, You have got to control yourself!" He begged, but it felt as if she couldn't hear anyone but the voice in her head, that said "Take it, take all of it, or you will never get this chance ever again."

"Rose you have to get away from me." Jayden's voice trembled he couldn't get over the pain her bite caused him before.

She sniffed his hand and looked him in his eyes "I swear I am fighting, but…" her eyebrows tensed "I can't!" She opened her mouth, but before she could reach his wound, she felt some strange agony and pain as if there was a hole in her chest and it was stretching wider, "Ahh!" She backed up and held her chest.

Tears started rolling down her cheeks dark veins rose up from her chest to her neck, her iris, her eyeball, her entire eyes completely turned black and she fell on her knees.

She released a strange screech that was sharp and loud, She looked up to the ceiling, and a black cloud of smoke puffed out of her mouth it got absorbed in the ceiling.

But her screech didn't stop Ryanne and Jayden covered their ears, their ears were hurting with her screeching, and so was every supernatural being's.

When she was done she crawled until she got out of the house Ryanne and Jayden rushed out to follow her when they saw her vomiting blood.

Dark and immeasurable amount of blood, Jayden rubbed her back and when she was done she broke down in his arms resting on his lap She whined so painfully that she couldn't even breathe.

"I got you" He gently rubbed her head with his hand.

Ryanne was also there, they had no idea what happened to her and why it happened to her, and that pain in her chest kept haunting her till dawn.

Swan was not happy to have her there but even she was crying after watching her suffer like that, She had a soft heart, and she always cried easily.

In the morning Jayden and Emric talked to Brigid about what happened to Rose.

"So the creature of the darkness is Squealer, I've only read about it and it was supposed to be a myth" Brigid was still dizzy from what she went through to make Jayden normal.

She pinched the middle of her eyebrow "Jinx! I need you to gather information about the squealer!" She said and decided to rest.

"If she has become a squealer… I don't think you should keep her here!" Jinx placed her hand on Jayden's shoulder and left.

"She's right." Swan whispered.

Jayden excused and called Swan out of that room "What is wrong with you?" He gritted his teeth staring at her.

"Oh, I am sorry if I don't trust a woman who almost killed you once and now could lose her control over her blood lust again!" Swan hissed back at him with anger.

"She's been through so much already Swan! You saw how she suffered with your own eyes!" He had a point and she didn't deny it.

"I know Jayden… and I am sorry that she had to go through that but I am taking no risk! I would rather see you hating me than never see you again!" Swan breathed heavily and she realized how emotional she could be when it comes to Jayden.

Jayden stayed quiet and kept staring at her for a couple of minutes.

It took her a few minutes to control her breath "I am sorry" She stared at the ground.

"It's okay… come here!" He hugged her "I can't lose her again Swan…" He whispered when a drop of tear popped out from the corner of her eye while her chin still resting on her shoulder.

"I wish I was her" She mumbled.

"Did you say anything?" Jayden yanked back.

"I said, once we heal her she's out of here!" She answered and he agreed.

In the morning when Rose woke up, she saw Jayden sleeping, cuddling his knees on the sofa.

She combed her hair with her fingers and tip-toed to the bathroom.

When she got out Jayden wasn't in the room, She stepped out of the room still feeling shameful about her actions.

When she got to the fence and looked around her eyes searched for Jayden everywhere until they stopped when she saw a little kid jumping on his stomach and then the other kids rolling with Jayden.

A smile appeared on her face as she realized how wrong she was about him, his laughing face was looking more attractive in the sparkly sunlight, and then she realized how she felt when she smelled the scent of his blood.

When Jayden got back to the room he couldn't find her but then he saw a paper on the bedside table.

"I have caused you enough trouble Jayden, You have everything here, a family, and friends who love you, Don't fight with them for me and please don't come looking for me!"

Jayden figured out she might have heard Swan saying all those things last night, but he decided not to go because this is what she wanted, at least not now, because when Brigid told him things he didn't know earlier he couldn't sit by anymore.

After Rose was gone, he barged into Brigid's chambers, not because he was desperate, but because he was allowed to, what Brigid and Jayden now had was a relationship of a mother and son.

"Where are the wolves? And why are wolves here still the same meanwhile the others can't turn back to their actual form?" He asked.

"You should be more concerned about that thing inside your girlfriend!" Brigid who was meditating opened one of her eyes and nodded slightly to make him sit before her.

"Why? What do you mean?" He asked.

"Rose is not just a vampire now, she's also a squealer, she will feed on 10 bodies every day then after midnight, she will throw out all the blood she'd consumed, and she will suffer pain as much as she can and the smoke you saw coming out of her mouth? She releases a death sentence.

People would die if we didn't pull out the squealer from inside of her! or it will fight her soul until she completely loses it and all she will know will be suffering and pain and misery!

She will become a monster wrapped in human flesh, there will be no Rose left, there will just be a squealer, producing death and making that body suffer." She explained.

"What?" Jayden covered his mouth.

Brigid could see how worried Jayden was, he was looking at her with tears in his eyes, and sweat was dripping over his forehead.

Swan was also there, and she couldn't watch him like that "What do we have to do? To get that thing out of her?" She asked "Don't worry Jayden, we will find a solution together" She held his shoulders.
