It Might Be You, My Darling [Volume One Completed]

Which SECRET will you keep for the rest of your life? She wakes up without a recollection of the other night's event. Krishna was horrid as realization hit her one morning. She had a one-night stand with a stranger! Why did she end up in the bed naked, pain searing all over her body, and no sight of her companion last night? As she could not comprehend what happened to her, memories of last night disappeared without a trace, whereas memories from the distant past resurfaced and muddled her head greatly. ‘What is going on? Why do I remember nothing, but I could recall some events during my childhood?’ What mystery surrounded that night, and she could not fathom being in an unfamiliar place without recollection? ~ “I want you to break up with him!” said the dude, who appeared out of nowhere. ‘The audacity of this man?’ She was pinned to the wall, and the crazy guy yelled this in her face. “What are you talking about? Do I even know you?” she snapped, glaring at the stranger. ‘Who is this guy? I don’t know him at all!’ She only wanted to enjoy the vacation she won over the lottery. However, she was being attacked by gorgeous men out of nowhere! “Who are you?” another man who blocked her in the hallway asked. “Huh? Isn’t I the one supposed to ask you this question? Who are you? I am certain we have never met before.” Even though she snapped at him, the man seemed confused by her answer. “Is that so? Then? Why do you keep appearing in my dreams?” Krishna was rendered speechless. ‘I thought this joke was outdated! Someone has still had the thick face to use for advances!’ I think I’m going crazy one of these days! First, I was mistaken for someone’s mistress. Now, I am somebody’s girlfriend. She Belonged To Him

"Alright." George waved his hand, dismissing the hotel manager without introducing Krishna to him. "Go park my car."

Michal was actually looking forward to it, but to his disappointment, his boss, his friend, did not bother about it. Thus, he better do his job.

"Yes, sir!" Manager Yu sprang toward the car and took the valet role momentarily. His boss is meticulous in his cars; hence, no one can drive them to park correctly in the parking vicinity of the resort, but his most trusted men, and he is one of them.

Watching the taillight of his car, George retracted his gaze. He turned around and led Krishna inside. "Let's go."

George grabbed her hand, and she couldn't take it back when the guy started ascending the marble stairway. It shifted her attention to her steps. It's a good thing that there is a red carpet, and she avoided having missteps.

Inside the resort's main building, every staff member they had passed by, George was greeted respectfully before their gaze fixated on the woman walking hand in hand with him.

"Are we seeing a real one here?" One receptionist whispered to her colleague.

"I wondered, too! Are we having Mrs. Graham soon?"

"I think she is our future, Mrs. Graham!" Another hotel staff commented at the Front Desk.

"Wow! She's too pretty and tall! Boss and she were a match made in heaven!" Chirping at the assistant floor manager, she even got interested in gossiping about their boss as it was the first time they witnessed him being intimate with someone in public.

The receptionists could not agree more. The woman their boss had brought today was absolutely gorgeous. They were envious of her thin waistline when her bottom and bosom were blessed with their sizes!

Since the couple was heading to the elevator, they missed hearing the staff's gossip. However, when they were passing the Cafe in one of the several lounging areas, George noticed the woman in his hand was falling back.

He halted and glanced at Krishna. The woman's gaze lingered in a particular direction. Also, she seemed to be Starstruck as her mouth was agape.

George followed Krishna's gaze. Instantly, his face darkened after he realized where her eyes were fixated.

'Sheesh! Why don't I tie up this woman later, then let her watch my nude body all night?'

George sneered in his heart. His face turned grave as his eyes flashed a dangerous glare.

"Come on! Don't be like a squid!" He pulled Krishna away and almost made her lose her footing. "Ouch! El Sádico!"

'What is his problem again? Does he have to pull me? I am actually following him! Does his personality switch again? How would I survive to have such a boss like him? What a sadist!'

She shot him a glare.

It was oblivious to her that George got jealous when her eyes were glued to the men only wearing their swimming trunks and leisurely lounging in the lobby.

On the other hand, George was unaware of the emotion growing in his heart. His parents' love may dote on him; however, it's not just one occurrence that he has to compete for someone's attention and to win someone's heart.

And in those ventures, he was competing with the same man, none other than his cousin Florian.

Once George is fond of someone, he will be clingy with this person. That was what happened with his adopted sister Margarette. He loved her like a blood sibling.

Later on, however, he noticed how Florian was infatuated with his adopted sister.

Although Florian was arranged to marry Stella, he only showed interest in Margarette, which made Stella jealous.

Everyone doubted whether Florian would marry Stella when he stuck to Margarette like glue.

But then, all of a sudden, Margarette died.

Before that, George had already shown an interest in Stella, but the latter had only loved her as a brother.

Stella had only her heart for Florian. Therefore, marrying the latter left George heartbroken.

It was the main reason he set up a headquarters in Asia. It is to move on. Perhaps the feelings he had for Stella will disappear one day.

However, the marriage between his cousin and Stella is not harmonious. Still, the latter never gave up and divorced Florian.

Hence, he was often the bystander on the sideline whenever something happened to the couple.

Who would have thought?

That a successful businessman like him, who excels in all aspects, was actually thirsty for love and attention.

Even George was unaware of this.

Hence, when he recognized Krishna as the woman he had a one-night stand with in Greece, he was fuming in anger for an unknown reason.

He questioned himself. Why is Florian such a lucky bastard that even his mistress is the woman he slept with once?

And because he could not vent his outrage regarding his adopted sister and Stella, Krishna was the person who tasted his fury, and it turned out that everything was just a misunderstanding.

After he ran a thorough background check, he learned Krishna was not the woman Florian had been having an affair with, but her best friend Camilla, an employee in one of their subsidiary companies.

It is why, after he learned Krishna conceived his son, he treated her as his possession, and he had no plan to share her with anyone nor allow her to look at another man.

Therefore, he unknowingly becomes possessive toward her, sensing that she is his property. Moreover, he was still perplexed about what he wanted to do with her.

All he had in mind was Krishna belonged to him.

"What are they doing here? Are they having a vacation in your resort?"

Krishna's query pulled him back to the present. George blinked his eyes to snap himself out from drifting his thoughts away, particularly in the past.

Would Stella marry him if Margarette did not die? He could see that Florian was serious about his feelings for his adopted cousin. Maybe they got married in the end.

Perhaps everything was designed by fate. Eventually, George has this belief.

Blinking her bright eyes, Krishna was waiting for George's reply. They were already standing by the elevator door and waiting for it to come down. However, George has not replied to her query since a while ago.

'What's wrong with him again? Did I ask a forbidden question?'

The people she saw earlier are known international celebrities who starred in Sci-Fi and action-fantasy movies with several sequels.

"They were here for a movie shoot. They rented a part of my property, and those actors stayed in my resort." After a while, George finally replied to Krishna, which caused the latter's joy.

"Wow! That must be a million dollars!" Krishna referred to the rental of those productions they paid George.

George, on the other hand, has only snorted. He did not mention that he also invested in the movie. The woman's eyes would undoubtedly pop out of their sockets if he revealed that.

"What do you think of my resort? Cheap?"

Before he could stop himself, he had already blurted out those words, which he regretted afterward.

He should not have treated Krishna this way because she was oblivious that her son was the sole heir to everything he had. He was a self-made billionaire, and he has yet to receive his inheritance from both his father's and mother's sides, which will add to his wealth beyond what he currently possesses from his own work.

Unless his son George has siblings, he will distribute them accordingly….

George was surprised and caught off guard by the thoughts that had come to his mind.

'Am I considering Krishna to conceive another child of mine one more time?'

An inexplicable emotion flashed in his eyes that no one could fathom.

At the bottom of his heart, he somewhat thinks this idea is not bad.

"So? Can I visit their set? Perhaps get an autograph and a picture with them!" Her voice was full of glee, and she did not notice that the man's grim mood had worsened.

George, on the other hand, sneered in his heart.

'I think tying up this woman is not enough!'
