Which SECRET will you keep for the rest of your life? She wakes up without a recollection of the other night's event. Krishna was horrid as realization hit her one morning. She had a one-night stand with a stranger! Why did she end up in the bed naked, pain searing all over her body, and no sight of her companion last night? As she could not comprehend what happened to her, memories of last night disappeared without a trace, whereas memories from the distant past resurfaced and muddled her head greatly. ‘What is going on? Why do I remember nothing, but I could recall some events during my childhood?’ What mystery surrounded that night, and she could not fathom being in an unfamiliar place without recollection? ~ “I want you to break up with him!” said the dude, who appeared out of nowhere. ‘The audacity of this man?’ She was pinned to the wall, and the crazy guy yelled this in her face. “What are you talking about? Do I even know you?” she snapped, glaring at the stranger. ‘Who is this guy? I don’t know him at all!’ She only wanted to enjoy the vacation she won over the lottery. However, she was being attacked by gorgeous men out of nowhere! “Who are you?” another man who blocked her in the hallway asked. “Huh? Isn’t I the one supposed to ask you this question? Who are you? I am certain we have never met before.” Even though she snapped at him, the man seemed confused by her answer. “Is that so? Then? Why do you keep appearing in my dreams?” Krishna was rendered speechless. ‘I thought this joke was outdated! Someone has still had the thick face to use for advances!’ I think I’m going crazy one of these days! First, I was mistaken for someone’s mistress. Now, I am somebody’s girlfriend. Lawful Couple

A severe pain that felt like it would split her head in two. She swore she would no longer drink too much alcohol next time, but a sip. A creak of the door opening caught her ears, snapping her out of the daze.

Krishna glanced in the bathroom direction; immediately, she cast a dagger look at the man emerging from it—wearing nothing, only a bath towel in both hands, drying his hair with it.

'How shameless!' Krishna sneered in her heart as she averted her gaze from the man.

"Did my wife wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" A playful smile appears on the man's lips, none other than George.

Krishna snorted. She raised one brow and retorted, "I'm not just woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I woke up in the wrong room."

George could not stop himself from laughing out loud.

"I just realized that you were too cute," he said, amused at his wife.

"Tsk." However, Krishna was not in the mood to joke around with him. She was upset and wanted to throw a tantrum, but she would look childish if she behaved like that.

'I don't want to be the wife of a man from a prominent family because I have to watch my image and follow so many family rules, including social engagements! Now what?'

"What's wrong?" George noticed her foul mood. As he approached the bed, he tied the bath towel he used to dry his hair around his slender waist. "Should I help you bathe?"

"No!" Krishna snapped.

Although she was in great pain, she didn't want this man to touch her again. Thus, she instead endures the pain of crawling toward the bathroom.

Before she could stop George, he scooped her from the bed and carried her to the bathroom. She was mesmerized by its spaciousness and spectacular scenery when they stepped inside.

They were on the third floor; hence, she must not worry about being naked. There are partitions all over the bungalow, so they have complete privacy.

Peering at the woman in his arms, George made gradual strides toward the bathtub and placed her inside.

Krishna could feel his burning eyes. Subconsciously, she blushed and suddenly felt extreme awkwardness.

How ironic that this situation seems like she was indeed on a honeymoon.

In fact, when she makes plans for her wedding and picks out a honeymoon destination. She included traveling to Southern Asia or the Caribbean on her lists. But she was worried about her ranch, so she chose the closest destination—and that is Greece.

"I'll go grab something to munch for breakfast," said George after he settled her down in the bathtub, then exited the bathroom in a flash.

Krishna sighs with relief when she is left alone in the bathroom. The bathtub is also a jacuzzi style; thus, the warm water helps to ease her aching body.

'Ah, this is nice. But I wonder if George prepared the bath firsthand when he stepped out of the bathroom?'

The water heater was already turned on when they entered the bathroom. Now, she wondered whether he was trying to act like a thoughtful husband.

'Hah. Is that man even real? I am terrified when his split personality activates again. Would he remember he tricked me into a flash marriage? God, what kind of situation am I in? Please enlighten and guide me on what I should do.'

She prayed wholeheartedly. She didn't notice George had returned and pushed a cart filled with various breakfast dishes.

George noticed she was motionless, eyes closed. His lips curled, seeing she was leisurely soaking in the tub. "You can't sleep yet without something on your stomach. What do you like to eat first?"

When George suddenly spoke, Krishna returned to her senses. Her eyelashes fluttered, then she gradually opened her eyes.

Now that the former had mentioned food, the latter was delighted with the breakfast brought to her. The breakfast she craved yesterday was served today.

"Can I really eat them now?" She wanted to confirm that her assumption was correct. She didn't want to be scolded by him again.

When George stalled before replying, Krishna lifted her head and looked at him expectantly.

Seeing her pitiful look, his lips parted with a smile, then he told her, "Please eat to your heart's content. However, you must remember you have an evening gown that needs to fit in later tonight."

Now that George reminded her about the party tonight, Krishna frowned. 'How cruel! All he did all night was attack me! Now he has to tease my conscience?'

If she did not complain, George would not get off her and ordered a late dinner to replenish her strength. She may be too full after having lunch. But later, she was famished when the man drained all the energy in her body.

"Fine…" She doesn't have all the energy to argue with him. Thus, she picked up a churro and dipped it into strawberry jam. At this moment, she just wanted to eat and restore her energy. She has a photo shoot later, so... "Oh, my god!"

As she remembered that, she peered at her body soaking in the warm water and made an observation. She feared she might gain some weight from eating and drinking too much yesterday.

"What happened?" George was about to exit the bathroom when he heard Krishna gasping. He turns to his heel and checks on her. "Is there a problem with the food?"

He instructed the kitchen to prepare a special Mediterranean breakfast. If they fail, he will fire them and hire new chefs to satisfy Krishna's taste buds.

On the other hand, Krishna looked up at George and shook her head. The latter raised a brow and mused, 'Then what's wrong with her?'

"I have a photoshoot today, remember? So I should eat less. I worried the dress they prepared wouldn't fit me anymore."

"Is that all?" He asked, and Krishna nodded in her response.

He thought she had a major problem. It turns out she is just worried about her weight.

Although he scolded her yesterday for not putting an effort into her career and watching her health seriously now that she was a brand ambassador, he already regretted his actions.

"Alright. Forget your photoshoot today. I will call Anna to schedule it this weekend. I want you to have some rest before you get ready for the banquet."

Krishna was in disbelief at how truly thoughtful George was to her. 'I could still not believe he had changed with just one finger snap. Anyway… I really wanted to sleep a little more if it weren't for my stomach rumbling endlessly due to hunger.'

"Okay. Thank you." She had nothing to say. Thus, she thanked her now husband for being considerate of her and continued eating her breakfast quietly.

Nonetheless, it was his fault that she was exhausted and not in the mood to work.

"All right. I need to go to the company and attend several important meetings the entire day. So I'm going to leave first."

He was actually reluctant to part from Krishna, as he was supposed to enjoy his honeymoon.

But he canceled all of his appointments yesterday. Now he has to finish them all before he attends the party in the evening.

George heaved a regretful sigh. He leaned over and kissed Krishna on the head. The latter was startled. Then, she was grateful that George only placed a quick kiss.

"Benny will pick you up later." He told Krishna before he straightened his back.

"Okay." She was somewhat relieved to hear that, and George noticed when her face brightened after he informed her of his whereabouts.

'Is she happy I would leave, or is she happy that I told her of my work affairs today?' Now that they were husband and wife, he felt he had to report to her. 'Maybe I am just losing some screws. How could I report everything I would do each day?'

He had many things he wanted to keep from her, including his activity in the Underground World.

'Well, I have to figure out, now that we are a lawful couple after I forced her to be my wife for reasons I could not entirely explain to her.' Contemplating, George buried these thoughts for the time being.

When she returned to Ocean View Resort, Krishna searched her suitcase for the special purse where she kept the precious items she inherited from her maternal and paternal grandfather.

She took out the two items inside and placed them on the bed.

"Why does my Grandpa George have the same ring as Chairman Crow, and Grandpa Gabrielle owns a brooch with the same design as the rings?"

She doesn't understand but wants to discover the connection between the ring, brooch, and Chairman Crow. Tonight at the banquet, maybe she can find out something.

Pondering, the more her chest was engulfed with curiosity.

"Does he know my two grandfathers?"
