If You Had Evidence

Not long after, George came out of the bathroom.

Krishna thought he would leave the room, but to her surprise, the guy walked toward her and lifted her from the sofa.

"What are you doing?" Startled, it forced her to put her arms around his neck and hold him tight. "Put me down. I have to be careful with the dress! I shouldn't damage the genuine gems embroidered in it!"

She struggled but to no avail. George successfully brought her to the bathroom.

He lowered his gaze and traveled toward her exposed long legs. He coughed, then turned his head and averted his eyes as he put her down on the ottoman.

George left without a word.

"What happened to him?" It rendered Krishna speechless. She still failed to understand his entire temperament; thus, she shrugged a shoulder and put less care on him. She unhurriedly takes off the dress so as not to damage it. While doing so, she kept mumbling. "I am convinced that he has a split personality!"

Outside the door, George heaves a long sigh. He leaned on the door, reached his forehead, and kneaded between his brows.

Suddenly, memories of that night flooded his head.

George was in a trance that he didn't notice Benny knock on the bedroom door and peep inside.

"Sir..."

He tried to call him out, but he did not react.

"Ahem!" Benny coughed aloud in hopes it will drag his boss out of dazed.

George shot a glare at his assistant after he returned to his senses. Sternly, he asked, "What?"

Sensing his boss' bad mood, Benny gulped and smiled awkwardly. "Erm, Sir. The clothes were here."

Seeing the several shopping bags in Benny's hand, it satisfied George that his employees were efficient.

"Good. Put them on the table, then leave." George waved his hand, dismissing his assistant even before he could step one foot in the bedroom.

Benny rushed inside the bedroom, placed the shopping bags on the table, and disappeared without a trace. The poor guy breathed out loudly when he reached downstairs.

He looked up and mumbled, 'Why is he so scary? I only came to carry out his order!'

"Hey, Benny. Where is the boss?" Approaching Benny, Dillion queried him in a huss tone. Benny pointed his index finger upstairs and made sign language. The latter understood and nodded. "Alright."

Dillion pulled out his phone from his coat and typed a quick message to his boss. It didn't take long—George came down and gestured at him to follow in his study.

In the study, Dillion carefully closed the sliding door before approaching his boss, now seated behind the office table.

"How's it going? Did Rowan squeeze any information from those men?" George asked impatiently. His index finger is tapping on his knee.

A little while back, it displeased him to see Rowan being intimate with Krishna. Thus, he sent him to join the interrogation team and torment those mercenaries to get information about who sent them to attack Krishna.

"They have got no information yet. Those mercenaries prefer to take their life than speak."

George snorted upon listening to this. It was expected, though, and he had a way of making them talk.

"Alright. What else?"

"Another thing is, news has reached Miss Camilla Rodriguez. She has called me five times now, insisting on speaking with you. What do you think, sir?"

"Okay. I will speak with her."

At that instant, Dillion dialed Camilla's phone number, which was answered just in the first ring, proving that she anticipated them to call back sooner.

"Where is Krishna!?"

Before George could place the phone in his ear, Camilla's rough voice resounded in the speaker. It irritated him listening to her stern voice, but could not ignore the woman's rage.

"She is fine and safe."

"I want to speak with her."

George frowned when Camilla sounded like she was ordering him. Who dares to act superior toward him? No one he'll allow to do that! Hence, he was displeased and cursed inwardly.

However, he couldn't feel absolute annoyance toward Camilla. After all, she was still his son's Godmother, and Krishna's best friend, who helped his mother and son financially—not to mention her being Florian's mistress.

'Why have things become even more complicated?' George sighed helplessly.

He has no choice but to endure for the time being. He had so many things he had to care for, and Krishna was one of them.

"I'm sorry. But it's impossible for now."

"Why?" Camilla queried sternly.

"Krishna was currently soaking in a warm bubble bath. I'll tell her to contact you when she is done."

"You…" Camilla was furious. However, she knew that even though she'd cursed the guy over the phone, she was only wasting time. Thus, she composed herself and calmed down. "Alright. I will wait for her to contact me."

No response from the other line.

Camilla hurled a long breath from the deepest part of her lungs before she released them violently.

Although initially, her purpose was to expose Krishna to their enemies. So then, they'll come forward. It still surprised her how bold they were making a move inside the Mafia King's territory.

'They were not simple,' she mused, then pondered what to do about it.

Having this dawned on her, uneasiness flashed through her eyes, and her anger vented on the man on the other side of the call.

"George Graham! Remember that Krishna is your son's mother. George Gabriel Palermo is just a six-month-old toddler. He still needs a mother's care, and I won't allow you to raise him by a stepmother once you get married. So please, I beg you…"

So out of her to lower her pride. But for her best friend's sake, she wouldn't mind. After all, isn't that one of her intentions?

That Krishna and George cross paths again and uncover their past intimate encounter.

"Promise me you'll protect her and never allow anyone to harm my best friend! If you aren't aware, I know this person who badly wanted to end her life! She was the closest woman by your side since childhood. I swear, I will not think twice about avenging Krishna if something happens to her."

George's grim face becomes graver when Camilla throws subtle words at him. Upset, he uttered steely,

"Why do you keep beating around the bush? Why don't you cut to the chase and name this person close to me and then explain why you accuse her of being an evil person?"

Camilla's laugh echoed from the other line that annoyed George. He pursed his lips and hissed, "What?"

"Lord George Graham… Why don't you investigate the cause of your sister's death? Don't you want to avenge her? How sad she must feel that until now, there is no justice to her death."

George's face stiffened from puzzlement. He asked Camilla with confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"If you want evidence, Florian has them. Goodbye!" Camilla hung up without answering his query.

"What the… Hello?" George was sore that Camilla suddenly hung up on him. He seethed, "That woman! Who the hell does she think she is? How brash she was to me! Does she think she can step into Graham's main family? She must be dreaming!"

"Sir…" Dillion stretched his arms in the air to catch the phone George threw at him. He wondered, 'What have they discussed, and he was this pissed off?'

Intrigued, he eyed his boss with an obvious notion. George frowned and rolled his eyes, overlooking Dillion's curious gaze.

"What happened to the investigation about that woman?" he asked impatiently.

"Er, sir. There is no special or suspicious record I found about Camilla Rodriguez. The only information there was — she worked in our subsidiary company in Caseres before being transferred to Seville, Spain."

"Hmm… Those branches are under Florian's management."

"Yes, sir…" Dillion nodded.

George reached his chin, pondering. "I see…"

Dillion stared at his boss with a disguise flickered in his eyes. He could not fathom what his boss had in mind.

In the past couple of days, he has been beating his ass to get results to satisfy him.

"What is your order, sir?"

"Nothing at the moment. All I want you to focus on is keeping my son's existence from everyone, even Rowan and my parents. It's not the perfect time for them to know about him yet."

"I understood, sir."

It was crucial because his boss had yet to find his true enemy. There are events in the past that he could not unveil despite his status now, but he has to rely on the association's power, the reformed Mafia Association.

"Anyway, sir. What are you planning regarding, Mr. Florian? Miss Camilla knew about you being Lady Krishna's son's father… Then, your cousin must know about this as well."

George looked up. Now that Dillion brought this up, he must speak to his cousin soon. He wanted to discuss many things with him, and if Camilla was right, Florian had already found out who killed their sister.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city…

Camilla threw her phone on the sofa and marched toward the kitchen of the villa she was staying in.

"Florian!" Camilla's loud voice echoed throughout the entire house.

Fetching a bottle of water from the fridge, Florian furrowed his brow after he heard Camilla shout his name like he was on the other side of the mountain.

"I'm here…" Florian's delicate gaze was met by a fierce glare. He asked, "What's up?"

"Once I found evidence that your wife was involved in tonight's assassination. Don't blame me if I cut her throat in public!"

Heaving her chest up and down, Camilla could not control her terrible temper. Seeing how enraged she was, Florian could only bob his head, saying,

"Alright. If you have the evidence."

Camilla narrowed her gaze as she was dissatisfied with Florian's poor reaction. The latter pursed his lips and smiled to coax her.

"Don't worry. I won't get in your way," he promised.

"You shouldn't be! Humph!" Camilla bellowed, then turned around irritably. She headed to the staircase and made a lot of noise as she made her way to the villa's third floor.

Florian could only watch her back with a heavy heart.

Then, a man appeared out of nowhere and stood close to him. Florian looked at the man and smiled faintly. He mumbled, "I should check on my wife."

"Hummed." The man nodded, tapping Florian on the back, and said, "Don't worry about Camilla. Leave it to me…"

"Alright. Thank you..." Florian strode to the door without looking back. "Bye…"

"Bye, cousin…"

Leaving behind in the spacious living room, the man retracted his gaze from staring at the main door and fixed his eyes upstairs.

He ran up the staircase with light steps and headed toward the main bedroom on the third floor, then pushed the door cautiously.

Camilla's silhouette came into view in the corner in front of the French Window. In her hand is a glass of red wine.

The man took gradual steps and halted behind her.

"You're back…." Camilla had already whiffed the familiar cologne; thus, she did not react when she heard light steps heading toward her.

If it were a different circumstance, she would have already broken this person's neck if it was someone else.

The man lifted his arms and rested on Camilla's shoulder. He pressed her aching muscles and began kneading them gently.

"Hmm…" Camilla closed her eyes and moaned in satisfaction.

"I'm just away for half a day, but here you are…. The tension is already building in your muscles."

Camilla looked up and stared at the man behind her. She put down her empty glass on the center table and stood up. She walked around the French sofa and stood before the man.

"Then… Why don't you comfort me?"

A flicker of pure affection appeared in the man's eyes. He hooked his hand on Camilla's waist, who placed her arms around his neck.

"It's my pleasure, my Queen."

The man carried Camilla and threw her to the bed. He unbuttoned his coat and shirt and threw everything on the floor, including Camilla's clothes.

He pressed his body on Camilla while kissing her passionately, leaving marks on her smooth, fair skin.

"Aleck!"

Camilla screamed when Aleck Graham Pereira bit her nipple excitedly.

Regardless, he knew Camilla would only be aroused if he were rough on her.

He flipped her body and pushed her shoulders to the bed, parting her legs for a perfect view of her womanhood.

"Let me ease your tension." He uttered before Camilla was eaten whole by him.

"Hnn…" Camilla cried in pleasure after she reached an orgasm.

Aleck Graham Perreira straightens his back and position behind her to penetrate her insides. Camilla groaned and huffed when Aleck made long thrusts and quickened his pace soon.

Before they both reach the climax, Camilla turns around, her back on the bed.

She stretched her legs and hooked them around Aleck's neck, pulling him closer to her nudity, and she reached for his lips, kissing him fervently.

Aleck stroked Camilla's long legs. Soon, he held both her ankles and made long thrusts that sent her to the peak of ecstasy.

The night is still long. Camilla pushed Aleck onto the bed and rode on top of him.

"You're the best, Darling…"
