It Might Be You, My Darling [Volume One Completed]

Which SECRET will you keep for the rest of your life? She wakes up without a recollection of the other night's event. Krishna was horrid as realization hit her one morning. She had a one-night stand with a stranger! Why did she end up in the bed naked, pain searing all over her body, and no sight of her companion last night? As she could not comprehend what happened to her, memories of last night disappeared without a trace, whereas memories from the distant past resurfaced and muddled her head greatly. ‘What is going on? Why do I remember nothing, but I could recall some events during my childhood?’ What mystery surrounded that night, and she could not fathom being in an unfamiliar place without recollection? ~ “I want you to break up with him!” said the dude, who appeared out of nowhere. ‘The audacity of this man?’ She was pinned to the wall, and the crazy guy yelled this in her face. “What are you talking about? Do I even know you?” she snapped, glaring at the stranger. ‘Who is this guy? I don’t know him at all!’ She only wanted to enjoy the vacation she won over the lottery. However, she was being attacked by gorgeous men out of nowhere! “Who are you?” another man who blocked her in the hallway asked. “Huh? Isn’t I the one supposed to ask you this question? Who are you? I am certain we have never met before.” Even though she snapped at him, the man seemed confused by her answer. “Is that so? Then? Why do you keep appearing in my dreams?” Krishna was rendered speechless. ‘I thought this joke was outdated! Someone has still had the thick face to use for advances!’ I think I’m going crazy one of these days! First, I was mistaken for someone’s mistress. Now, I am somebody’s girlfriend. Maybe tomorrow, I will become someone’s wife. Great! How ironic would that be!? ~ Chapter Release Schedule: TUESDAY - THURSDAY - SATURDAY (This book is under massive editing.) A Treasure In This World

The man over her covered her still-swollen lips, kissing her passionately. She struggled to push him, mustering all her strength, but to no avail.

"Hmmm…" Krishna did not give up, but George held her tight, and she couldn't slip away. "Déjame ir!"

The latter did not listen to her plea. Instead, he left her lips but lowered his head, and his mouth trailed down her neck, then bit her collar.

Krishna gasped and pressed her eyelids when the tickling sensation spread throughout her body after the bite, waking up the long-dead desire denying its existence in her core.

"No!" She felt guilty and embarrassed, but her curiosity was at its peak, being intimate toward her opposite sex like this, in which she wasn't happy to have these kinds of feelings at all.

Her fiance George Mendez used to kiss and embrace her tight, but he never went beyond. At that time, she was in college and wanted to focus on her studies, especially since she was working a part-time job to fend for herself. Those times she and George were together are limited.

Although her fiance is helping her to pay off her boarding house and bringing her groceries, she doesn't want to rely on him entirely.

Snapping out of her trance, Krishna felt George's hand on one of her breasts, rubbing and pinching her nipple.

At that very moment, she sobered up. "No!"

She gathered all her strength and pushed George away, then jumped off the bed and dashed toward the bathroom, locking the door.

Meanwhile, the man left behind on the bed was staring at his palm with a curious gaze. His brows knitted together as he inspected the fluid that drenched his fingers.

At first, he was in a stupor, looking at it, trying to process what had happened entirely. He thought about whether everything was still a dream.

After recounting what happened last night, he finally remembered that when he checked on Krishna, a desire awakened and spread throughout every nerve of his body.

Thus, he tucked under the covers and lay beside Krishna; of course, he took off his pajamas as his habit.

Then, he had a dream about that wild night, and when he heard an alarm chime out of nowhere, he opened his eyes and thought he was still dreaming when his nostril caught the pleasant fragrance coming from the woman beside him.

Upon recognizing it was Krishna, he wanted to embrace and kiss her like the way he held her in his dream. And that made his lower body also get excited.

'Damn it!' He cursed under his breath and remained to stare at his palm.

If he was in a different situation, and it was somebody he'd made physical contact with, he'd already felt nauseated. However, the white-yellowish fluid had quenched his son's hunger, and the same liquid gave him life.

Therefore, the thing in his hand was a treasure in this world, the reason he could not bring himself to feel disgusted with it but grateful instead.

In the bathroom…

Krishna clutched her chest tight, encouraging herself to calm down. If she were to look at the mirror now, she was sure that her cheeks were like a rotten tomato from their redness.

'He's crazy! How was he able to unlock the door?'

Oblivious to her, all the systems in the entire suite, including the locks, are at George's fingertips.

Krishna hurled a long breath to calm the loud thumping of her heart. Her front is still heaving up and down, and the weight of her chest even got heavier.

She lowered her gaze to her silk dress, and her face flustered from embarrassment. After George massaged her chest, her front was drenched with her milk.

'Gosh! What is his impression of me now? But if he had checked my background, then he would understand why I have breast milk.'

Anyway, why is she concerned about it? Isn't it better that George would be disappointed in her so he'd stop bothering her?

She would rather endure his terrible temperament rather than be intimate with her. That is what she wanted to avoid.

She had an infant supposed to breastfeed, but what is she doing? Hooking up with someone?

Krishna made up her mind. She pressed her ear on the door, but nothing she could hear but silence.

'Has he left already? Probably he felt disgusted with my breastmilk, and now he could not wait to wash his hands.' She thought.

"Well, that's better."

Krishna took a quick shower. When she was done, she wore the available bathrobe hanging in the corner and wrapped her long hair with a bath towel before she exited the bathroom. She breathed a sigh of relief to see the empty bedroom, and the crazy guy was nowhere to be seen.

"Thank God he left, and it would be best if he also went to work… Ah…" She almost forgot that they had an appointment with Anna. However, she is not ready to face the guy yet. "What am I going to do?"

Krishna paced back and forth, contemplating what excuse she could use.

"That's right!"

She devised an excuse to go to the hotel to dress up appropriately. Although the clothes delivered last night were fine, she will insist that she doesn't like them. It was her only way to avoid George.

Upon coming up with this idea, Krishna strode to the nightstand and picked up her mobile phone. Then, it caught her attention on the left side of the bed, where George lay down all night.

'He told me it was his habit of sleeping naked… It means I was sleeping soundly next to a naked man?' All of a sudden, her head filled with shameful imagination. 'No! I should not have these kinds of thoughts!'

Well… She could not help it as she remembered nothing of that night, which she always gave herself an intense scolding for being too careless.

Just one night, which changed her life forever.

'Ah…' She must stop having weird thoughts.

Snapping out of the daze, Krishna shook her head. She dialed Jerry's phone number. To her surprise, someone's phone rang loudly behind the door. She rushed to the door and opened it.

"Jerry? Why are you here…." Her words trailed off upon realizing that the guy was carrying several shopping bags and boxes while his free hand struggled to pull his phone from the back pocket of his trousers.

"Er… Good morning, Miss! I'm delivering your stuff!"

"Oh… But I haven't…." She was planning to call Jerry to pick her up, yet the guy appeared with her luggage!

Krishna was agape upon realizing that her plans had failed!

She doesn't want to meet George yet, but how could she make an excuse to leave first?

"Who told you to bring them over?" she asked warily; disappointment was written over her face that Jerry thought she was angry; thus, he explained hurriedly.

"Mr. Graham ordered us to bring them over, Miss. After what happened last night, he wanted to ensure your safety. Chairman Crow approved this."

"Oh…"

If she is correct, the hotel was under Crow Corporation, and Chairman Crow was the owner. Now she had nothing to do but follow whatever these people had decided since they were doing their best to protect her. 'I can't be picky or demanding, no?'

"Alright… Please, come in…."

Krishna opened the door wide and let Jerry enter the bedroom. Soon, Jim appeared carrying more boxes that blocked his line of sight.

"Good morning, Miss Krishna!"

"Hello, Jim. Thank you for sending my stuff over," she said with a smile. However, it soon disappeared upon seeing the next man emerge at the door.

"The two of you can leave now." All of a sudden, the crazy guy ordered sternly.

Jim and Jerry shared a knowing look. They were not dumb not to sense the jealous tone in the man's voice.

After putting everything on the floor, the two men dash out of the room without a sound.

'Well, he owned this resort, and I live in this suite for free. I could not complain about respecting my private space. I'm just a burden now.'

Krishna gnawed at her bottom lip when the man she didn't want to meet so soon appeared before her. She averted her gaze, yet she could feel that burning stare scanning her body from her head down to her bare foot.

"What are you waiting for? Do you want me to help you put on some clothes?"

"Huh?" She jolted when the crazy guy spoke in a teasing tone. Suddenly, the bewildered beat of her heart became wild when she made eye contact with him.

George didn't hide the desire exhibited in them.

Krishna saw it as an absolute red warning.

"I can do it myself!" Thence, she bolted toward the sofa, grabbed as many shopping bags as she could carry toward the walk-in closet, slammed the door closed, then locked it.

George chuckled. The corner of his mouth lifted upward, watching her stumble around to avoid him.

"Breakfast is ready! Don't take too long dressing up! There is no one you should please, anyway!" He sounded behind the door, which made Krishna agape.

'What does that mean? I am an endorser now. Isn't it just normal that I dress up? Besides... Who said that I must look pretty standing by his side? Has he forgotten that already? He's absolutely crazy, behaving like he has a split personality!'
