With a new backer, Richard didn't bother to trouble Jason anymore instead he turned his gaze to the newcomer with a deep frown on his face as he said in a cold voice.

"you need to learn to mind your business Kristopher else you are going to land yourself in trouble one day" he said before walking out of the room.

Seeing that he's gone, Kristopher turns to Jason while letting out a sigh of relief before speaking up.

"Are you okay kid, hope you were not injured from the strong old?" asked Kristopher.

Jason took some time to adjust himself before replying.

"I'm fine, just a little scratch and nothing more. Thank you for your help. I really appreciate".

"Ah it 's nothing boy, we have to look out for each other while we are still here, and don't worry about Richard, he's just in a foul mood" said Kristopher.

Jason didn't pick offense from what he said since he's the one at fault. Kristopher decided to introduce Jason to the rest of the team. While introducing him to them, the other members could not help but wonder why he was suddenly brought to the servant quarters since there was no information about any of the elders bringing in a slave.

Since they would find out about how he came to be a slave, Jason decided to tell them what happened and not forget to mention how Mira kept accusing him of theft, and whenever he brought the matter about Mira up, his hatred for her continued to grow.

"So you are the one I've been hearing of being caught this morning for trying to rob the sect" said Kristopher with a surprised look on his face.

"I think Mari just acted due to the fact that you scared her and we have been having issues within the farmland for some months now. Someone has been stealing our stock and seeing you at that place, she concluded that you were the thief all along" said another slave who goes by the name Eric.

"Someone has been robbing the sect of its crops?" asked Jason.

"you get that right and the bad thing is we still don't have a clue who it could be" replied Eric.

Jason could not help but let out a deep sigh thinking how bad his luck was for not sending him to a better place but rather a sect and to make matters worse, he was sent to a sect that was going through some difficulties.

Seeing that they were so immersed in their discussion, Kristopher decided to remind them about supper before walking away to get something to eat. Jason didn't fail to follow him from behind as they went to the kitchen department to get the portion met for their department.

While they were heading to the kitchen department, Jason decided to ask Kristopher about the name of the continent they were in only for him to hear that they are located in the Aurora Continent.

"Inside the Aurora Continent, there are four kingdoms. They are the Slivermoon kingdom, the Jade Empire, the Radiant Sun kingdom, and the Moonshadow kingdom.

We are naturally in the Moonshadow kingdom which happens to be the weakest of the other three kingdoms and within the Moonshadow kingdom reside the turtle sect, Azure Peak, Golden lotus sect, and the Dragon heart sect. You are lucky to have landed in the turtle sect otherwise, I wonder what would have become of you if you were to land in one of these sects, especially the Dragon heart sect" said Kristopher as he gave Jason important information about the kingdom in order for him to avoid trouble.

"Do you think the thief is from one of these sects?" Jason decided to ask.

"We've thought about it as well but there is no way we'll be able to approach them since they are way stronger than our sect so we can just bite our tongue in anger and continue with our day to day activities" replied Kristopher.

"Enough with all this chit chat let's go eat and head for bed. Don't forget tomorrow will be when you are going to start working so you need a lot of energy and the only way to do that is by getting a good sleep" said Eric, seeing that there is no end to their discussion.

With that, they ate their food before going to bed with Kristopher giving Jason one of the vacant beds before sleeping as well but Jason could not sleep as he just sat on the bed with his fist clenched as he could not help but remember how he ended up in this situation.

"you will have to pay for what you have cost me Mira" he mutters to himself.

After muttering these words, Jason felt a light ring in his head as a female voice suddenly rang in his ears.

"Congratulations for finally activating the system".

"huh, who said that?" asked Jason in fright as he quickly jumped from his bed.

"I'm right here" said the female voice once more and this time around an interface appeared before him with the female voice introducing herself.

"I'm called system. The gift that was bestowed to you by the Supreme creator for passing all trials. With my help, you would be able to keep your life in this world as long as you do as you are instructed".

Jason was left speechless as he just stood there while looking at the interface in front of him with a surprised look on his face as he began to analyze what was going on here since coming to this world, he found out that he would have to depend on himself if he would want to live but little did he know that the Supreme created did not abandon him after giving him another chance to live.

Since it has gotten to this, Jason could not help but ask the question that has been bothering him since the arrival of this system.

"Could the others see you as well?".

"other than the host which is you, others won't know about my existence" replies the system.
