Jason And Saito,Maniacs in arms

Saito was currently checking his sword out and jason was trying to learn a few spells in his book.

"I heard some adventurers were going to fo clear up something like a monsters nest or something,it may give us enough xp to get to level 10" Saito suggested.

"Hmm yeah, it doesn't sound bad,maybe sfter we do reach level 10, we should probably go to the Undead kingdom, it would take us about three weeks to get there looking at the map" Jason said as he tried to use a spell, a small amount of lightning came out of his hand and then disappeared the next second.

"hmm,Looks like i need to say the spell for it to work…Welp trying to learn instant casting aint bad" Jason sighed as he stood up and picked his katana.

"Also, monsters drop soul shards which we can sell or i could just use to fix our equipment or make new one" Saito said as he collected jasons katana.

"We currently have five right now, two is enough to repair these old weapons" he said as he took out two white glowing stones from his pouch and then used [Soul forge] the soul stones disappeared and saito suddenly closed his eyes..

in front of saito stood an anvil and a hammer on too, the katana was a shadowy color as it lay on the anvil.

Saito gained a small understanding on how to fix the katana, he took tha hammer and placed one of the soul stones on the katana.

the sword caught on white fire, and then he hit the hammer on the katana.

It took him about three minutes each ti actually fix the katana.

"Helloooo" Jason said as he flicked saitos head.

"bruh, you were standing like that for six minutes?" Jason said a bit confused by his strange behavior.

"Don't worry about it, Anyways the weapon is fixed but i don't think i can fix the runes" Saito said handing the katana back to jason.

Jason looked at the now less damaged blade, the runes didn't seem that complicated to him, even this he could only understand one of them.

"i can only read one of them, it is called Silence All. that's it,I can try to activate it with my mana…but no i am not doing that" Jason said, he'd rather be careful and not try that with something completely unknown to him.

"Man, i just want to feel the warmth of an elf" Saito said sighing as he looked at the horizon.

"Nuh uh, Cat girls are still better" Jason retorted looking at saito.

"…You wanna bet…ok if we go to the monster nest and if you solo the boss or whatever that is controlling that, i will accept that cat girls are better than elves" Saito boldly said as he looked at jason with a challenging gaze.

"hmm, that means we aint following no adventurers and we'll both go…i accept" Jason wouldn't shy away from proving him wrong, the two knew where the nest was due to some rumors they heard in the inn.

After they got ready they both headed to the dreadwood forest, as they entered, the shimmering lights of the sun shined between the trees.

After walking around for a bit more, the two arrived at the entrance of a dark cave, Saito readied his sword and jason summoned a fireball so they could see in the dark much clearly.

The two finally met their first opponents, it was brown skinned goblin.

[Hob-goblin

It was the next evolution of a goblin, the hobgoblin, Jason silently raised his arm at it and then casted [Stun bolt], Saito had enough time as he went towards the hobgoblin his sword in his arm.

The mosnter broke out from its daze and then immediately blocked saitos attack with his club, saito then immediately kicked the monster.

Jason used [Electric Dash] Moving towards the monster and dealing the finishing blow, the two then silently went deeper into the cave, they killed more hobgoblins and a few giant spiders and some undeads.

"Damn, this place is dark" Jason said as he made a fireball and made it float beside him.

"Eh, it's not bad, we got two levels here, i think we might need to farm higher level monsters to get more Exp" Saito replied as he summoned three Fire slimes. he then commanded them to attack a few more of the monsters.

As the two traveled deeper into the cave, they noticed the air becoming colder and the path narrower. The monsters grew more frequent and aggressive, each encounter pushing them closer to their limits but also granting them valuable experience.

"Do you feel that chill?" Saito asked, shivering slightly despite his combat focus.

"Yeah, something's not right. The air feels… dead," Jason replied, tightening his grip on his katana and reinforcing his fireball to provide more light and warmth.

As they rounded a corner, the cavern opened up into a vast chamber. At the center stood a towering figure, draped in dark, tattered robes. Its eyes glowed a menacing red, and it held a massive scythe in its skeletal hands.

[Undead Warlord

"Wait is that death?," Jason asked with a bit of apprehension.

"Well remember our bet, this is all you" Saito said as he moved back,

"Coward" Jason exclaimed as he used [Stun bolt] on the boss, it hit it making it stagger for a bit, the undead lord roared in fury as it summoned undead worriors.

Saito summoned five electric slimes and attacked the other undead not to ruin jasons fight.

Jason then used [Electric Dash] traveling towards the boss with speed and striked it with his katana. the boss swinged his massive scyhte at jason, jason rolled on the ground dodging the weapon but he did get damaged a bit.

"Tsk, [Flame burst]" Jason ran a finger on his katana as an orange flame covered it, he casted a [Fireball] at the boss's eye which distracted it.

"heh, i am still testing this move,even though it will sap me of all my mana afterwards, it sure will kill an undead like you so, [Lightning Blade]+[Electric Dash] Fusion spell:Thunderstrike]!"

With a determined shout, Jason channeled all his remaining mana into the fusion spell. His katana became engulfed in a brilliant, crackling aura of electricity, and his body surged with energy. The air around him hummed with power as he prepared to strike.

The Undead Warlord, sensing the imminent threat, raised its scythe and prepared to defend itself. But Jason was already in motion.

In an instant, he vanished, reappearing right in front of the Warlord with [Electric Dash]. The sheer speed and force of his movement left a trail of lightning in his wake. With a roar, he swung his katana, the blade now a conduit for pure electric fury.

[Thunderstrike] hit with the force of a lightning bolt, the katana slicing through the Warlord's ancient armor and cleaving into its undead flesh. The impact released a blinding flash of light and a deafening crack of thunder, shaking the cavern and momentarily stunning all within.

The Warlord let out a final, horrific screech as the electric energy coursed through its body, disintegrating its form from the inside out. The scythe clattered to the ground, and the once formidable undead foe crumbled to ash.

Jason collapsed as he balanced himself with his katana. "Damn that was tuff, i don't think i can feel my legs right now"

"…Well, i call dibs on the scythe" Saito said as he helped jason up from the ground.

"Yeah yeah" Jason didn't mind, there was also a black book on the ground near the scythe.

"hmm, Dark magic?, Rare i guess" Saito said as he picked up the book and gave it to jason, he took the scythe and familiarized himself with it.
