Arrival at Vale

The following morning when I woke up, I saw Mizu hugging me as usual. As some time passed, she woke up from her sleep.

After that we used magic to clean ourselves and have light breakfast and continued our journey.

After few hours of journey, my Universal Sensing skill picked up several monsters.

One of them is way bigger than the others…

I informed Barnar and others about the monsters' approach and we prepared for battle.

I sensed that Mizu was pissed off from the monster because I was giving her lap pillow on the carriage, and she was enjoying. Barnar and others have the expression of eating dog's food.

The monster that eventually apparated were 30 small green human-like monsters, all carrying clubs, and one monster with the same appearance- but double the size – armed with an axe.

Who could be those monsters except most common mobs in Isekai setting. The Great Goblin.

The big monster among then would be evolved form of goblins. So, I appraised him.

Skill: Axe Art LV 5

Physical Boost LV 4

Command LV 3

Dark Magic LV 2

Goblins are only level 5 with club art skills.

As we were preparing to attack, a projectile attack made from water was thrown and with a blast every last one of them were dead.

I turned around and looked at Mizu and saw her satisfying expression.

That attack was strong, and it reminded me of Hydro Pump attack from Pokémon.

The bodies of the monsters were literally obligated so we didn't have anything to harvest except fe things, after that we continued on our journey.

As soon as I reached to our coach, Mizu looked me with puppy eye.

Ah! this girl, I think demon King have really spoiled her.

"Do you like my lap pillow?"

"Yes, it comfortable and relaxing."

"Do you know this thing is mostly done by Female for their beloved men and vice versa?"

I grinned at her, but she didn't respond. After that I flirted with Mizu and time passed.

Eventually, a town became visible in the distance.

"That's the border town of Vale!"

Bacchus happily announced that we were almost to our destination, and I heard Mizu stomach grumbled.

"You are hungry…?"

Mizu didn't reply to my teasing remark, but I can see the faint blush on her face.

"Don't worry, once we get into town let's sell the monsters part to the guild, then we can eat whatever you want."

"Ok"

After that we reached the town gates Bacchus headed towards the entrance for merchant.

Our turn arrived soon enough, and a gate guard approached our carriage.

"Your trader proof, please – oh, Mr. Bacchus! Those people are your escort, I suppose. Please show your identification documents."

Hmm… this merchant guy is sure famous and during our travel he was always polite to me. Maybe he was afraid of me after seeing my massacre. I don't know why most protagonist hide their power.

It is good to remain lowkey but being too lowkey is bad. If opponent is stronger than what anyone can do but for mobs just kick their ass.

We showed our adventurer and after that the guard let us through without problem.

Finally, we reached Vale!

Maybe it should have been expected of a border town, but Vanna was a very lively place.

Our next destination was the adventurers' guild: since it was on the way to the trading company of the merchant that we escorted, we rode the carriage halfway.

After that we said goodbye to the Merchant named Bacchus and he also gave me a card which will give us 20% von any of his store. I asked about his store and was bit shocked to know that he has his business around all the three great state.

After that we headed to the adventurers' guild as planned.

On our way there we were bombarded by delicious smells, and Mizu was drooling so I bought some delicious meals for her, and she was devouring it at full speed.

I chuckled at her then gave her a handkerchief made by my Unique Skill Almighty to clean her mouth and then we reached at our destination.

The adventurers' guild building in Vale is even larger than the one in previous town.

Inside it was no different: there was much more hustle and bustle that what I saw in previous town whose name was Waxe if I remember correctly.

We headed to the counter first, to hand in our adventurer cards and report the request had been completed.

"…confirmed, thank you. The request has been marked completed. This is your reward."

"Thank you. By the way, we have some materials we'd like to sell…"

The receptionist smiled at me and replied.

"Very well. We can buy materials at this counter, so please place them on this table."

"Excuse me Miss Receptionist, I am B-ranked adventurer, and we have some high-grade materials and some big monster that will be hard to fit here so may you show me some other place."

I asked her politely, because this plot is quite common where a receptionist will look down on protagonist and after that the protagonist will slap on her face making the cute receptionist fall in love with protagonist.

After listening to me Receptionist thought for few moments and then took me to back storage room.

After that I showed the dead body of Snor Bear, Some part of Mephisto Bird and some other big monster. 

After seeing this she was shocked. Some adventurers also followed me out of curiosity and were shocked.

I think this is good, now there will be almost no assholes who will try to pick up fight with me or some cliché stuff will happen to me.

"So, it was coalition of both of your party who killed this monster."

She said while pointing at Snore Bear.

"No-no it was done by Sir Akira alone."

"Yes, we are just C-ranked adventurer."

"How we can hunt such ferocious monster by ourselves."

As listening to Barnar word a commotion was spread in the whole guild.

Well killing A-rank monster is big achievement for anyone.

"Pipe down, you lot!! Would you keep quiet! …What with all the commotion here?"

A loud voice reverted in the whole guild making everyone silent.
