Y/N'S POV
Enid and I were sitting on the floor while Wednesday crossed her arms sitting in her desk chair, I had the feeling that my cousin was enjoying giving herself that air of superiority sitting there. Normally I would have complained and told her to sit on the floor, but the urgency with which we needed to deal with the Hunters issue overcame my pride.
-Wednesday: This is what we will do, Enid you will take everyone to the forest and you will carry out the dance there with total normality - she took Thing out of the drawer in which she had locked it - You can ask him to help you decorate it and so on.
- Enid: Why do I have to take care of the dance? Y/N is going to expose herself to danger, I want to be with her - she said seriously but she gave me a smile when she looked at me - The Raven loses its importance if you don't go with the person you like.
- Wednesday: It doesn't matter, the only thing we should be worried about is the safety of all the students and teachers - she leaned towards us - You are popular and have a lot of followers on social networks, it won't be difficult to make them go wherever you want. And the hard way... - she made a bad face.
- Enid: Very bad way?
-Wednesday: Ugh, the hard way we can ask Bianca for "help" to use her voice so everyone does as she says - she said totally disgusted - I honestly would prefer if that wasn't necessary, I trust your absurd popularity.
-Y/N: And what do I do in the meantime?
- Wednesday: Help me kill two birds with one stone - she smiled mischievously - The idea is to attract your mother and Mr. Duncan to the academy and let the hunters themselves face her.
-Y/N: Hey, that's a great idea - I said impressed - Like that, it won't be so dangerous and we won't need to worry about involving anyone else - I smiled.
-Wednesday: There's a catch, though - she looked at Enid and then at me - Maybe you should try to get closer to Brooke again. She's the only one who can convince her father to come this way.
- Enid: No way! - she stood up and frowned - Y/N is not going to meet the fake one behind her - she glared at me - Will you?
-Y/N: Uhm, I... - I tore out the back of my nervous neck - I didn't complain when you became friends with Ajax again - I shrugged.
- Enid: I knew you were jealous! - she smiled and came closer to me - Why didn't you say so?
-Y/N: I have never been jealous, to have that feeling I would have to feel like someone inferior... And I am by no means inferior to Petropolus! - I rolled my eyes - Brooke has no supernatural abilities, I don't think I would be in danger if I meet with her and she helps me to set a trap for others.
-Enid: - she opened and closed her mouth repressing whatever she was going to utter - Okay, okay. Do whatever you have to do to save us all... That's all you care about right now.
- Wednesday: She's upset with you - she told me.
-Y/N: I already know that! - I glared at her. - Hey, Enid... Nothing's going to happen between Brooke and I, you know you're the only one I have feelings for. Besides, with the link you will be able to notice it, I will be so calm that it will seem that I have died.
- Enid: That doesn't help! - she complained and sighed - But I know I can trust you - she looked me in the eyes and started nodding - Do what you have to do, but come back safe and sound please.
-Y/N: - I smiled and wrapped her in my arms - Don't worry, I'll take care of everything without anyone being able to touch a single hair of me.
-Enid: Whoever touches a hair of you, I'll cut off his hand, - she said while pouting adorably.
-Wednesday: Wow, from the phrase she just used I would say that it sounded threatening enough to be just another Addams - she crossed her arms - But with that puppy-dog face I just didn't believe it. Anyway... Are you ready to put the plan into action? As soon as the first rays of sunshine come out, I want Enid announcing the Raven's new location and Y/N looking for Brooke in the woods. Understood?
-Y/N: What are you going to do in the meantime?
-Wednesday: I'll talk to Wilson and try to get him to help me convince the Hunters to stop their attack. If it doesn't work, which it won't, I'll interrogate him to tell me about the weak point of hunters so we can get rid of them later - she looked at me seriously - Calm down, I don't turn into an animal or get scales when I touch the water. If I take off my Nevermore uniform I'll look like a normal girl.
-Y/N: You don't believe that, neither do you - I said amused and looked at Enid - To appear to be a "normie" you would need a little color in your life and more vividness - I smirked.
-Wednesday: You're not being serious - she glared at me.
-Enid: Well, we might still get some good out of this, - she said pulling clothes out of her closet and colored nail polish - Shall we start?
- Wednesday: Y/N! - she frowned - You are dead, if neither the hunters nor your mother finish with you... I'll do it myself! - she threatened me.
-Y/N: I'm sorry cousin, certain efforts have to be made to keep everyone safe - I smiled as I made my way to the exit of her room - I'll let the inspiration come to Enid, so for the moment... Enjoy the color of life, Wenny - I smiled burlesquely before leaving.
That night I went to bed early because what was waiting for me the next day was going to be very hard, none of us could make a mistake or then we would literally all be dead. The next day in the morning I dressed casually and ran to the cafe in search of something to eat quickly. It was so early, ironically the only person there was Wilson.
-Wilson: Y/N - he said surprised to see me - Are you coming to murder me? You have the right to do it - he said looking at me badly.
-Y/N: I see you're still as nice as always - I said sarcastically and walked past him reaching for an apple and taking a bite - Spilling blood won't solve the situation you've got us in, so no, I'm not going to murder you.
-Wilson: - he took me by the arm and stopped me - Do it, I deserve it - he said looking at me seriously - I know that with one paw you can finish me, do it before my conscience is burdened with the death of all these people.
-Y/N: - I clicked my tongue and gave a sly smile - Don't think you're going to redeem yourself so easily, be a man enough to face the consequences.
-Wilson: - he sighed - You're not nice at all either - he reproached me - I take back what I said last night, Alice was much more affectionate and kind than you.
-Y/N: And do you think your daughter would be happy with what you have done? - the man didn't dare to look me in the face - It's not too late yet, the attack can still be stopped and we can save everyone else.
- Wilson: How? - he looked at me in despair - Those people are invincible!
-Y/N: No one is, we all have our weak points - I said before I started to walk away - Think about what I have told you, there is still a chance to move on.
When I left Nevermore I finished eating the apple and transformed into a fox to be able to move more nimbly through the thick forest. I wasn't going to lie, fear was holding me back a little, I was afraid that my mother would manage to re-brand me or something like that. But at the same time, the fear of losing the people I cared about was greater and drove me to continue with that crazy plan. I slowed down as I reached the forest clearing and returned to my human form. I opened my arms so they could see I was receptive and started calling Brooke.
- Y/N: Brooke! Brooke! - I was looking around - I know you hear me! Come and listen to what I have to tell you, it's going to interest you - I swallowed thickly - I'm going to take the opportunity to meet you that one day I turned down.
- Brooke: And what's the point of that change of mind? - she crossed her arms - Have you had problems in paradise?
-Y/N: If by problems you mean living in fear since I received your letter... Then yes, I have a pretty big problem and a dance to attend. Would you like to come with me?
