Chapter 5: Summoner Magician

"Of course there is advantage as well, being a Summoner Magician. The skill of your summon can be used at will using the skill [Resonance]. This skill gives you the authority to invoke the skill your summons have. You can also learn this when you get your first summon." Lothe further explained.

"I've decided, I really want to be a Summoner Magician" Max declared. At first he was hesitant because he did not want to fully rely on his summon for fighting. He want to learn some spell so that he can protect himself while his summons are fighting for him.

After learning that there's a restriction in every path. He weigh the pros and cons of being a summoner. But when he heard that there's a skill that allows him to use the skill of his summon. He decided that being a summoner was the right thing to choose.

Lothe look at her son seriously.

"Okay, now that you've decided to be a Summoner. Lets talk about how to construct the base Magic Circle for a summoner, each path of Magician have their own unique base Magic circle. For the Summoner, our base Magic Circle is composed of 24 node and 96 sub-node." Lothe explained, then she return to her room and return with a book.

"This is a image of the base Magic Circle of the Summoner."

Then she show the image that was drawn on the book.

When Max look at it he was dumbfounded. The Magic Circle was so big because the it almost occupy the most part of the paper. And the image has a complicated design and symbols.

"Are you shocked?" Lothe asked with a teasing smile.

"I'm going to draw this to my consciousness? how long do I need to take draw this thing" Max asked dumbfoundedly.

Then suddenly his mom laughed out loud.

"I'm just kidding you, yes you need to draw this to your consciousness, but there's a easy way to do that." Lothe explained.

Then she get something from her so called box. Its a square shape wooden board that some inscription on it. Max found out that the marking inscribe in it was the same as the inscription draw on the book.

"This is a base Magic Circle board that I used when I was younger and started my career path as a Summoner Magician. You can put your hand on top of it and guide your mana to the inscription. The board will directly draw the base Magic Circle to your consciousness." Lothe explained.

Max then put his and on top of the board and try to pour his mana and guide it to every inscription using the skill [Mana Manipulation]. The inscription on the board started to emit a small dazzling glow.

On the side Lothe was amazed by his son control over his mana. Then she suddenly remember that his son [Mana Manipulation] was level 3, so his control over his mana can compare to her own.

Unbeknown to Lothe that his son [Mana Manipulation] was downloaded from her. so it come to say that all of Lothe experience about the skill was directly copied from her.

Max was still concentrating on guiding his mana to every part of the board. The process was slow, he estimate that it takes an hour to finally guide his mana to every part of the board to make a circulation.

Max was thinking what if he download it from his mom. but he shook his head and stop thinking about it, he can only download skills and its randomized.

His mom never mention about the base Magic Circle being a skill. She also said that this base will hold the all the spell that a Summoner have. It only serve as a foundation for the Summoner path.

After an hour of guiding his mana throughout the board he completed a circulation. At first he still struggling to guide his mana, but after the first complete circulation the process of guiding his man went smoothly.

"Keep guiding your mana and completed the circulation. Do it until you complete 26 circulation" Lothe suddenly said after that she noticed that max completed his first circulation.

Max heed her order and keep guiding his mana to keep the circulation. it took him another 30 minutes to complete the 2nd circulation, and then 20 minutes in the 3rd.

Max just keep repeating the process until the his circulation went faster and faster until it only took him 5 minutes on the 20th circulation.

On the 25th circulation his head hit a sudden dizziness and he feel lightheaded.

"Don't fall asleep, if you fall asleep all your efforts will go to waste" Lothe shouted.

Lothe shout make Max sober a little and forcefully bit his tongue to stay awake. But his mind was already inside his consciousness. He didn't know how did it happen but his mind was watching the scene that is unfolding. A small light occur then it started to get bigger and bigger.

Then that light started to form different symbols and shape. After a while a Magic Circle started to form out the same as the inscription on the board.

Then it began to stabilize and it was emitting a golden glow meaning that his base Magic Circle has successfully created.

Lothe who was watching Max suddenly feel the fluctuations of mana in the surrounding area. She smiled in delight because it means that Max was successful in creating his base Magic Circle.

Then it happen, there was a loud like explosion in the surrounding and the surrounding mana was densely forming around their house. It suddenly emitted a bright glow that pierce through the sky.

Far away, many expert was looking on the direction of Max house. Then they see the bright light that pierce through the sky.

"This is a [Blessing of Confirmation] phenomenon." someone said amazedly. Then some people who was sensitive to mana notice the disappearance of mana in surrounding area.

"The mana is converging in the source of the phenomenon. Someone must be stepping into Magician's Path. Whose lucky family is he from? " an old man said.

"The direction of the light is far away from the household of the 3 major families."

Max let out a deep breath. That was very tiring for him.

"How do you feel?" Lothe suddenly asked.

"I feel the same, but i can feel that something must have changed in me. I cant figure out what"

"I also feel the same way as you do when I successfully created my own base Magic Circle, you'll get use to it" Lothe said.

But Max was paranoid of not knowing what's wrong with him so he called out his status and the difference he feel shows.
