Chapter 38: He will come.

The past week has been hectic he has been receiving wishes from his employees, business partners and investors in the form of flowers and cards. Later in the day, he will meet some investors to finalize some business deals.

'That is just the beginning.' He will smile to himself.

This marriage of his will make him look reliable and responsible publicly.

"What's on my schedule, Nick?" Al asked.

"Board meeting in 5 minutes and the dinner meeting. After that, you are free to do whatever you want." Nick smiled as they entered the conference room.

Back at home Scarlet and Jules we're discussing the wedding preparations.

"It will be safe if I just came to your place rather. I wouldn't want a pregnant woman to stress herself over a fake wedding." Jules complained.

"Wedding is every lady's dream whether it's fake or real. Plus this is the only place I come to get away from Austin's watchful eye." Scarlet smiled.

"Must be tiring."

"Not at all. All I do is take what you want and call the agencies to do it ." Scarlet smiled.

"You seem totally off today perhaps you are the one that needs the sleep and rest."

Scarlet observed

"It's nothing." Jules smiled.

"Hey uncle," Scarlet called out to him.

"Hello, how are you."

"Fine." Scarlet smiled

"Good," Louis said and turned his attention to Jules. He walked closer to them.

"They will be arriving at the airport in 2 hours' time. And from here to the airport is a 3-hour drive. So I will let the drivers do for them." Louis looked at her concerned.

"Okay."

"If you have any objections they can stay at a hotel till you are ready," Louis asked.

"So you think it will be great to let them stay at the hotel?" Jules asked him.

"He said they won't be here for the wedding and that they will leave two days from today."

"Meaning I have only today and tomorrow to talk to them," Jules spoke.

"Yeah,"

"Then I guess I should deal with them and forget about it."

"Better that way.".

" Tell them to take them to the hotel and pick them up for dinner this evening." Jules said.

"Good idea." Louis smiled and told the chauffeur the plan.

"Prepare." He advised her on his way to his room.

"I will." She murmured under her breathe.

"Who is coming here?" Scarlet enquired.

"Some family members."

"Should I tell Alaric to be here for the meeting?" Scarlet asked.

"Am sure he has something important to do. There's no need to bother him."

"Don't worry am very sure he will like to get good credits from your family." Scarlet smiled.

"I will tell him to try and make it." Scarlet added.

"If you say so. " Jules smiled.

Scarlet phoned Al to tell him about the dinner plans.

"He said he has a dinner meeting. If he finishes up early he will try and be here." Scarlet informed.

"You know I was sitting just here and I could hear what he was saying. No need to cover up for him. I knew he won't come." Jules chuckled.

"He will come," Scarlet said with certainty. Just then Austin texted her informing her when he will come to pick her up.

"I can't do anything in peace." Scarlet breathed heavily which caused Jules to chuckle.

"Should we continue with our preparations?" Jules asked.

"Yeah."
