''What why are you going that way?'' he questions me as he follows me,'' what- thy –'' he held my hands –'' are you crazy? Why are you going that way...''

''Jacob the portal, that is my way home, If Adriel's ego is too big for asking Raymond for help then I'm doing him and his ego a big favour by getting out of here, I'll go there by myself with or without you.''

''I'm going whether you're coming or not.'' I started to walk back, and I couldn't help to notice Jacob's blank stare as he looks at me.

He took a sudden step forward, and I was a bit surprised at the sudden question retorted to me, it was not like him to question something I did. But again this is Jacob we are talking about, and I shouldn't be surprised. As the silence grew so was his steps making me retracted a bit further.

I'm not one of you, and besides my –' she was not able to finish her sentences when she feels hands had cupped her face and soft lips had landed into her lips making her eyes widen, and her body went rigged as she froze on the stop, heart accelerating in a quick phase.

But with what happened before it felt like running was not an option it was a great time if the earth swallows her inside, she couldn't help to touch her cheeks burning up as she recollects her memories before.

Behind her, as he observed from the back, she could feel Jacob stare in the back of her head.

She wanted to feel the thick satin that she was given earlier by Jacob, but at the moment she didn't think it was possible.
