Prologue: The Stranger at the Door

I've always been alone. I lived alone, shopped alone, go to school, watch movies alone. And that's how I've always liked it. After all who needs friends?

The subject of friends in itself is a weird idea. Who needs another human being around? Especially when the other person only has their own best interest at heart. When you have friends those interests have to take a back seat. But humans are selfish by nature. That's why there's drama in groups. Friends stabbing each other in the back. In the end, once the benefits of hanging around you are gone, they'll leave.

See, if your always alone, you're always first. No one to keep you from doing what you want to do, when you want to do it.

I tried trusting someone once and it failed me. That's why I don't know anybody and I don't try to get to know anyone. I do my best at avoiding anyone that may recognize me too. Any conversation that may lead to a friendship, I simply walk away from. It's the most peaceful type of life.

You see, I'm not the kind of fool to fall for the same trick twice.
