Chapter 162: Second trip to City Nan

"Eat lunch!" Bai Yi Yang called from the kitchen and took her seat. Her siblings also come not long after, the three children is wearing pretty outing clothes now, only she and Bai Yi Chen who haven't changed from their school uniforms. It is only 1.15 pm so they still have time, Zhou Zhu Yao will only come around 2.30 pm so there is nothing to worry about.

The siblings take their time eating lunch but Bai Yi Yang still finished early and return to the Main house to get prepared. She already pack their luggage yesterday but she still need to look around again in case she missed something. It's not easy travelling with 3 kids.

By 2.10 pm, the siblings is all ready. They only need to wait for Zhou Zhu Yao now. All the doors are lock, gas turned off, and all switch has been turned off other than the Main house's air conditioning since they are still using it now.

"Right. Ge, bring along Cookie and Oreo's new dry food, the one at Old Zhou house now may not be enough." Bai Yi Yang said. Bai Yi Chen nod and enter the kitchen to take out the puppies unopened food from their specific cabinet.

Not long after that, Zhou Zhu Yao arrived and they leave the village a before 2.30 pm. They will be able to arrive at their hotel by 4.00 pm. This time, Bai Yi Yang didn't book the same hotel as before, she choose a hotel which is close to City Nan university where she will have the Olympiad competition.

The hotel name is Intercontinental Hotel. This hotel is quite famous among foreigners, all the reviews are mostly in English. It is close to many universities, but it wasn't far from the city centre either, only 30 minutes car ride. City Nan university is very close to the hotel, less than 15 minutes, she doesn't want to rush tomorrow morning so she choose this hotel.

As for the facilities, it is about the same as Holiday Inn, it's just that the scale is not as big as Holiday Inn that have hundreds of room, Intercontinental Hotel can accommodate less guests. Other than that, it is also a less popular choice among the local. Like before, she also book 2 rooms this time, one cost 650 yuan per night and the other cost 400 yuan per night.

When they arrived at the hotel's outdoor parking, Zhou Zhu Yao look at Bai Yi Yang. This hotel look a bit better than Holiday Inn, the guests are also mostly foreigners, she must have payed much more for this place. Bai Yi Yang just said to Zhou Zhu Yao that this hotel is also a 3 stars hotel too, only then Zhou Zhu Yao stopped saying this and that.

Their room is at the 9th floor, a female staff help arrange their luggages and escort them to their room. Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Mo room is right in front of them this time. The staff also informed them that there is only 4 other rooms that is occupied in this floor, showing that there really is not much guests in this hotel.

The children is most interested in the swimming pool, so the staff immediately informed them about it, it is situated at the ground floor, behind the hotel. She also mentioned about the small park and playground there that the children can spend their time with.

After looking around the room, they leave to their first schedule which is going to the Purple Lake. Last time, they didn't have much time to play there, so this evening is entirely use to play at Purple Lake only.

Bai Yi Yang has researched the activities there, so when they arrived there, they park near the bicycle rental place, then they rent 4 bicycle, only Bai Yi Fang and Bai Yi Ling didn't ride their own bicycle. Bai Yi Ling actually has started learning how to ride and she is quite good at it, but there are many people riding bike here, she may bump onto other. Bicycle rent is very cheap, it is only 15 yuan per hour, they rent it for 2 hours.

From the bicycle rental place, they cycle to the boat rental area. It is actually a pedal boat rental place, they can paddle on their own to look around the lake. The lake is quite big, there are artificial islands with colourful flowers, statue, fountain and so on. They can't go on these islands but but they can look around it riding the boat. So, there are a lot of people renting this boats to look closer at these islands. What a clever business trick.

Bai Yi Yang and her siblings line up after locking their rented bicycle, there are 3 grounds in front of them. The pedal boats that is available are the 2 seater and 4 seater boat. Bai Yi Yang look at their group and start to think on how to divide themselves.

"Miss, how many people?" The person at the counter ask Zhou Zhu Yao.

"6 people, but three are children." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

"Ah, that is a bit complicated. How about I give you a bigger 4 seater one, but it will cost a bit than the usual 4 seater." The person in charge said.

"Which one?" Zhou Zhu Yao ask.

"The orange colour one. It's bigger than the standard blue colour 4 seater boat." He pointed at the rows of boat.

"Good, we take it." Zhou Zhu Yao said. The orange boat is indeed bigger, the space inside are wider, there is no problem, all of them have more than enough space.

After paying the 75 yuan fee for 1 hour rent, they all wear safety jacket. And went to their paddle boat. Zhou Zhu Yao and Bai Yi Chen will sit in front while Bai Yi Yang and the rest sit at the back, bai Yi Fang insist to sit between Zhou Zhu Yao and Bai Yi Chen in front so Bai Yi Yang let her be.

'This lake is really shallow. Why do they need the safety jacket for adults?' TongTong who is sitting at the head of the boat said.

'How deep?' Bai Yi Yang ask.

'The deepest is at your shoulder level.' TongTong said.

'Then that's good, I won't be worry if anything happen, Xiao Mo know how to swim but Fang Fang and Xiao Ling don't know how to.' Bai Yi Yang said.

'No worries. The safety jacket is all fine.' TongTong said.

The first island they go to is a flower garden, the flowers which is mainly purple in colour is blooming, there are also other flowers which makes the island more beautiful. Other than the flowers, there are two seater bench and pathways. People cannot step on it so the grass is very beautiful.

"I want to go there, can I?" Bai Yi Fang said. From their boat, they can touch the flowers at the edge.

"Not allowed. This island is small, what more it is man made, there is a possibility that the land on the edge may fall off, it can ruin the island." Bai Yi Yang explain.

"Ohh, so scary." Bai Yi Fang said.

"This is also so that the flowers can bloom beautifully without being disturbed." Bai Yi Yang add again.

The next island also have purple flowers planted but the main attraction is the statue of a goddess with small angels surrounding her. The next island feature a fountain and also flowers garden. Basically all the 5 islands is very interesting and pretty. But, all they can do in the end is look, they finished in no time.

After looking enough, they all returned to the boat rental place then cycle around the lake before heading back to the bicycle rental place.

They only return back to the hotel by 6.20 pm which they spent by another round of playing at the hotel's swimming pool. Bai Yi Fang ends up playing with a bunch of foreigners kids, they don't understand each other but they still play happily at the kids section. As for Bai Yi Ling, she is working hard to learn swimming, it was Bai Yi Chen who is teaching her because Bai Yi Yang is busy competing with Bai Yi Mo in various games. Don't know why but Bai Yi Mo can indeed provoke other people competitiveness, that was the case with Bai Yi Yang.

Of course they didn't spend too long, even though the pool is very well lit, they all returned to their room before 7.30 pm. Everyone is tired and hungry. About their hunger, Bai Yi Yang cannot do anything but she can settle the other one, she let them drink water that has very small amount of replenishing solution and they immediately become energetic again.

'Despicable.' TongTong said when it tasted the replenishing solution in it's drink too.

'TongTong also must be tired.' Bai Yi Yang grinned at it. Well, what to do, isn't it better to use it so her siblings can replenish their energy too?

'Indeed, this water taste better.' TongTong agree.

After taking a bath and changing clothes, they all are ready to go find dinner. Bai Yi Yang also bring jackets for them since she already have a plan for their activity after dinner. For dinner today, they are going to eat western food, to be specific it is a famous fish and chip restaurant.

Bai Yi Yang has made a reservation before they came, so when she gave her name at the door, the waitress immediately bring them to their table. The atmosphere is a bit different compared to local restaurant, how to say it, it is quite elegant.

The children is not used to this. People who eat here is sitting at their table chatting in light voice, there are no children in sight. What more, they are using many type of utensils, making them feel a bit intimidated.

"This is the menu, please call me if you are ready to order." The waitress put the menu in front of them with a smile and move to the side to give them privacy. Bai Yi Yang nod and look over the menu, they have several type of fish and chips which are their signature but they also have different type of food, there are meat too. The menu is written in full English.

"What do you want to eat?" Bai Yi Yang ask her small siblings.

"Anything is fine." Bai Yi Mo has give up reading the menu, so he said this. Bai Yi Fang at the side also nod.

"Let's take their signature dishes bah. I also don't know much." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

"Okay." Bai Yi Yang also think the same. She also decided on some other menu such as pasta, soup and bread. After getting everyone approval, Bai Yi Yang call the waitress over.

"I want three fish and chips, as for the type of fish that would be cod, haddock and halibut. One grilled salmon, creamy egg and salmon pasta, garlic bread and mushroom soup. As for drink, just bring us drinking water." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Very well. Let me repeat the order.." The waitress repeat Bai Yi Yang order one more time to confirm it. Bai Yi Yang nod in the end.

"If the food is not enough then we can add more." Bai Yi Yang said to her siblings. Bai Yi Yang appetite is not small now, not as much as Bai Yi Chen but she ate much more than before.

"Okay ah." The children agree. They continue to look at the menu pictures and ask Bai Yi Yang if they can order dessert later.

"Can. But jiejie is going to bring you to another place with delicious dessert later, you still want to eat here?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Then we don't want anymore." The children put down the menu and wait patiently for the food to arrive.

"Where are we going later?" They are already excited about the next destination.

"To look at City Nan's night view. We can go to the dessert shop there, eat some cake and ice creams and look at the night view." Bai Yi Yang said. She is talking about a famous spot in City Nan, that place is called City View Park. Actually there is also a park where people can enjoy the night view but they are also going to try the dessert at the café.

After waiting for a while, the mushrooms soup and garlic bread is served, followed by their grilled salmon. The food smells very good, when one dish arrived, they all immediately start eating. The fish used are really fresh, Bai Yi Ling who enjoyed Western food the most like the food very much. Even when the two small one remind her about the dessert later, she doesn't mind.

"That is dessert. When we arrived there we will be hungry again." She said to her younger sister and brother.

Bai Yi Yang only laugh at this. When all food has arrived, she also ordered another serving of grilled salmon, this is for TongTong to eat in the car later. For now, TongTong can only drool while watching them eat from Bai Yi Yang bag.

'Host, I want to become human later.' TongTong said with low spirit. There is too much restriction as a cat, it can't enter restaurant, can't use flight, can't this and that. Too much restriction.

'When there is 'human' skin available then we can do that.' Bai Yi Yang comfort TongTong.
