Panic shot through the Broken Blades Pirates like a bad rumor. Desperate, they rushed forward, eyes wild with fear.

One of their more advanced mechas, which had been relentlessly hunting Lyra, suddenly swerved and ditched its mission. He headed straight for the remains of their leader's machine, clearly hoping to save what was left and make a break for it.
