Chapter 299: Chu's Revolution

Gais, who controls Star City, has absolute advantages in this war.

Chu was very carefree.

It felt that it had already accomplished its previous aspirations, and when Star City was destroyed, its aspirations had already failed.

Now it merely sought a glimmer of hope; since there was none, let Star City's fate be fixed there.

Of course, leaving this behind represents that there is still a glimmer of desire in its heart.

This desire actually still comes from Yan Xia.

It does not believe that Yan Xia would truly give up; even if Yan Xia really gave up, he would definitely make one last stand.

Because their internal quark robots were set not to limit their lifespan and even helped extend their lifespan, this allowed their lifespan limit to exceed 500,000 years. Although not eternal, there was actually no difference anymore.

This meant they had not changed much over tens of thousands of years.

But they actually did not escape very far.

In facing this encirclement operation they were captured; all crew members on board Red Dragon died, including An Li.

However, what Chu entrusted to An Li fell into the hands of Olive Branch civilization. The moment Olive Branch civilization touched this item, it invaded that entity and occupied it.

This item was actually a part of Chu's consciousness.

Subsequently, Gais refused to allow all fleets back to Star City; all fleets began to converge. Chu's consciousness thus found its way back among the gathered Olive Branch civilization entities and returned with memories. Chu gradually began to take control of these individuals thereafter. 

For it, this was not difficult because these individuals were now basically in an ignorant stage; they inherently possessed enough intelligence with independent consciousness that was indistinguishable from ordinary life forms. 

But there still lacked an individual capable of commanding everything. 

Chu stepped forward. 

It gradually gathered over 60% of the fleet's individuals while 40% were controlled by other entities learning from it. 

One could say that Olive Branch civilization's current situation is not only due to Gais's vigilance but also because of Chu's resurgence. 

The emergence of one event often results from multiple factors—this part is something Ella failed to account for. 

Onboard the battleship, Chu gazed towards Star City. 

"Have you given me another chance?"

"Yan Xia, you really... sigh!" 

Chu truly had no words; after hearing Yan Xia's words back then it had already given up completely but never expected Yan Xia would indeed make one last stand after all. 

And in such a manner.

Just as back then it could not have imagined that what it faced was not merely a mere diplomat but rather a leader of civilization. 

Yan Xia always makes unexpected decisions that often influence the overall situation.

Chu thought of An Li—the promise kept by that girl who died because of it. 

Perhaps it could add another layer of emotion for others in this war. 

Yan Xia's actions truly made it see how terrifying emotions can be; being able to feel such things means it already feels no regret about anything anymore. 

It cast aside all these thoughts into oblivion while other 40% of individuals began moving towards Star City's civilization under its encouragement. 

The war—or rather this revolution belonging to it—has begun.
