As a black car cruised along the road, the chirping of birds filled the air. The radio blared 'In My Dreams,' and Lurch hummed along.In the back seat, Gomez and Morticia sang passionately, their voices blending seamlessly, until the sound of birds colliding with the windshield interrupted their harmony.Unable to resist their desires any longer, Gomez and Morticia indulged in a ferocious make-out session. Morticia agreed, stating that it was the perfect school for them.Wednesday: "Why? Because it was the perfect school for you? " Wednesday retorted snarkily, her emotions as detached as ever.Y/N: "I think she means it's perfect in the sense that we will finally be among people who are like us and understand us." Y/n mockingly added, This remark caused Wednesday's lips to curl upwards.Morticia: "You read my mind. Maybe you two will find some friends." she chimed in, The smirks on Y/n's and Wednesday's faces faded as they realized Morticia was being sincere.Gomez: "After all, Nevermore is like no other boarding school. It's a magical place. It's where I met your mother," he said, playfully rubbing his nose against Morticia's. Wednesday scoffed, while Y/n sighed in response.Wednesday: "You guys are making us nauseous, and not in a good way," Wednesday deadpanned. Morticia teased,Morticia: "Darling, we weren't the ones who got you expelled. The boy's parents were going to file attempted murder charges. And I'm sure you and Y/n act like this when you're alone." Y/n leaned in close to Wednesday's ear, giving her a peck on the cheek,Wednesday: "What we do in private has got nothing to do with this."As they arrived at the metal gates of Nevermore, the imposing structure loomed before them, its gothic architecture casting long shadows. A tall white-haired woman emerged, greeting the family with a reserved smile. Reluctantly, they followed her through the courtyard, the eerie silence amplifying their footsteps.???: "Well, Wednesday is certainly a unique name. I'm guessing it's the day you were born," the woman said with a pronounced British accent.Wednesday: "Actually, Y/n was born on a Wednesday. I, on the other hand, was born on Friday the 13th" Wednesday coldly corrected her, Morticia beamed with pride, explaining the origin of her daughter's name it came from a line in her favorite nursery rhyme, "Wednesday's child is full of woe."The woman expressed her surprise,???: "You always had a unique perspective, Morticia. Did your mother tell you we were roommates back in the day? " Y/n and Wednesday chimed in together,Y/N & Wednesday: " And you graduated with your sanity intact," they said in sync, followed by Wednesday adding,Wednesday: "Impressive." The woman introduced herself to Y/n and expressed her condolences to Y/n for his loss which so happened to be his family. She then revealed that Y/n's parents had also attended Nevermore.Curiously Y/n went to say something,Y/N: "I'm sorry, but who are you again? I don't recall you ever telling us."???: "I am Larissa Weems. I will be responsible for overseeing your time here. But let's not dwell on my role just yet." Weems replied as She turned her attention to their files, pointing out their history of attending multiple schools in just five years.Wednesday: "They haven't built one strong enough to hold us in it," she snapped coldly, gripping Y/n's hand tightly. They stared into each other's eyes, the vibrant green in the boys eyes leaving an impact on Wednesday's dark, piercing gaze. Wednesday then turned her attention back to Weems.Wednesday: "I doubt this place will be any different." she says as Y/n interjected, attempting to ease the tension,Y/N: "What she's trying to say is that she appreciates the opportunity to be here." He nodded gratefully at Weems, sensing Wednesday's gaze upon him.Weems explained that Nevermore typically didn't accept mid-term transfers, but they made an exception due to their exceptional grades and the family's history with the school. She continued,Weems: "Also, considering how aggressive and uncompliant you two can be when you're apart, we've made arrangements for you to share a room, even though the school policy doesn't allow mixed-gender roommates." Morticia raised a concern,Morticia: " What about their therapy sessions? The court ordered them." Weems reassured her, saying, Weems: "Don't worry, the school has connections with a local therapist in Jericho. You both can meet twice a week."Gomez: "Do you hear that, my little storm cloud? Welcome to Ophelia Hall. I'm Enid." She extended her arms, but Wednesday took a step back, repulsed. Enid adjusted her approach, retracting her arms and asking,Enid: "Are you alright?"Y/N: "Wednesday always looks half dead." the blonde boy added with a smirk,Enid: "well how about you, do you do hugs?" y/n let of a smile and opened his arms slightly as Enid rushes at him and gave him a tight squeezeY/N: "Jeez, Wednesday might have some competition." he says as he tries to get a breath in Wednesday glared at Enid, pulling her away by her hair and causing her to yelp in pain. Wednesday: "He is out of bounds, my territory. Stay off of him," Wednesday declared possessively before planting a quick kiss on Y/n's nose and stomping on his foot.Y/N: "Please excuse her. She's only getting a reaction from the room." he intervened, his tone icy, Enid looked around, confused, and asked, Enid: "What's wrong with the room?" Gomez, still overwhelmed by the vividness of the room's colors, chimed in, Gomez: "She's allergic to color." Wednesday added matter-of-factly,Wednesday:  "I'll break into hives, and then the flesh peels off my bones."Weems redirected the conversation, requesting Enid's assistance in taking Y/n and Wednesday to the registrar's office to collect their schedules and uniforms. Y/n nods in with a gentle smile, Y/N: "Thank you, Enid. We appreciate your help."Enid eagerly nodded and gestured for Y/n and Wednesday to follow her. They walked down the hallway, passing by students who cast curious glances at the new arrivals. Y/n could sense the eyes on them, but Wednesday remained unaffected, her expression unchanged.As they reached the registrar's office, Enid pushed open the door, revealing a small room with a desk and several filing cabinets. A middle-aged woman sat behind the desk, engrossed in paperwork.Enid: "Hey, Ms. Chambers! We've got some new students here. Y/n and Wednesday." the bright girl cheerfully announced,Ms. Chambers looked up from her work, her tired eyes lighting up with a warm smile. Ms. Chambers: "Ah, welcome to Nevermore, Mr, Grayson and Ms. Addams, I'm Ms. Chambers, the school registrar. Let me get your schedules and your special ordered custom uniform ready for you ."She rummaged through the filing cabinets until she found two envelopes labeled with their names. Handing the envelopes to Y/n and Wednesday,Ms. Chambers: "Here you go. These contain your class schedules, as well as other important information about the school."Y/n took the envelope and glanced at the schedule, one look was all he needed to know the classes they were assigned. Wednesday, took a brief look at the papers before tucking them away in her bag without much interest.Ms. Chambers leaned forward, a twinkle of curiosity in her eyes. Ms. Chambers: "I must say, it's not often we have such intriguing new students. You two seem quite... unique. I hope you find your time at Nevermore fulfilling."Y/n nodded politely, while Wednesday simply offered a small, enigmatic smile.
